This is my personal experience during my last trek in Warwan Valley Kashmir completed on 25th July where I have crossed several water streams experienced badly that water proof technology not working properly.
I have purchased the shoes on 26th June 2023 Crestwood MId WP against invoice no DWH23-24/1633 atleast upto ankle level water proof should work but unfortunately it didn't turn around.
Kindly go through the technology and do the needful from your end at the earliest.

Took much longer than promised to then not received product. Delivery service lied and said they tried but we have cameras and they never even came to property. Then Columbia wouldn't cancel without shipping charges. Credit card company handling and providing full refund. Avoid COLUMBIA
Overall satisfaction and overwhelming especially to Kunwar for giving me such a good customer service.
The Rubber Part from the sole falls already of after mabye 10days of use!

I have closet full of Columbia sportswear and shoes and typically I've found them to be of pretty good quality, especially those that were purchased years ago. I recently purchased a pair of ROC pants that apparently were new old stock. Great pants but on the 3rd wearing the metal snap came out from the pant and is lost. The grommet is still in place and I just need the snap to make the repair. Columbia offers absolutely no replacement parts for their clothing line. No tailor can replace the item either as the snap is exclusive to Columbia. So I have to throw out a pair of $50 pants because the snap cannot be replaced. Incredible! Not available for warranty because they are an older model according to Columbia. I just spent another $100+ on the Memorial Day sale and that will be my last purchase from Columbia. Poor customer service with be their death nail. Not to mention, if you sign up for an awards account and attempt to take advantage of their 25% off first online order, please note that is only applicable to full price items. Not something that is apparent when you sign up. More deceptive advertising. There are too many other good companies out there with excellent customer service like Prana, Kuhl, Royal Robbins etc. to keep throwing my money away with Columbia.
My son bought me a hooded Performance Gear Fishing Shirt as a gift. Very nice thought. I used it once and got fish blood on it. Can't get the blood out and Columbia tech has no idea on how to do it. So now I have a $50 polyester rag to go fishing with.
I bought in Columbia through their website, and their system took my old address for shipping. So, I called customer service immediately and nobody provided a solution. They said Columbia cannot fix or correct a shipping address before sending a package. So, if the package is still in their hands, why not resolve an issue?
Having an old address picked by the system as a shipping address has been a tremendous headache for me because Columbia has policies that harm the customers. So, I contacted USPS, and unfortunately, there's nothing I can do to rescue my two packages (since they shipped my order in different packages). While there's an expensive option to redeliver the package, the address on my credit card should be the same as the one where the package was originally sent. So, since Columbia sent the boxes to an old address, I cannot make any transactions to rescue my packages.
This situation is highly disappointing, and I can't believe Columbia does business in such an irresponsible way. Really?There's nothing you can do to cancel an order or correct a simple address? Nobody in Columbia responds to these types of issues. So, where is the customer service? This is outrageous.
Although I appreciate the short time agents dedicated to listening to the shipping problem, I did not find any solution from Columbia when it was possible to do it. Unfortunately, now it is impossible to find an alternative with USPS, and I lost my money. Thank you, Columbia! This is the worst customer service I have ever seen in the US.
I bought my Columbia jacket about 6 months ago for just under $150.00, then weather getting worse I went to a heavier coat. About 2 months ago I took the Columbia jacket out and saw that the front zipper was missing teeth so I could not zip it up. I took it to a seamstress and after about 3 weeks she said you can't repait that kind, you have to send it in to get repaired due to warranty. I have been battling with anyone at Columbia to get it repaired and nobody is gettig back to me. Next time it won't be any Columbia and they should really let you know that you have to ship it back for repairs. They also said I need the receipt, who keeps a receipt after 6 months? They sure do not back their product.
I would give zero stars if I could for their customer service. I have been ordering from their online site and using Paypal for my purchases for many years because their payment site is not secure. I have returned items to the store, which is 45 minutes away, on multiple occasions including successfully 3 weeks ago. Today, I attempted to return items to same store FROM THE SAME ORDER with an attached return receipt and was told they don't accept returns from paypal payments. Seriously?! She noted it was on the site except it is nowhere near where you would see if placing an order. Getting absolutely no help from the store manager who was also condescending, I contacted customer service directly and they were even less helpful and indicated not all returns are acceptable and that it is at discretion of warehouse. What does that even mean? The person suggested it would be better for me to instead try to sell the item on a third party site or give it to a friend or relation as a gift. Really?! That is the resolution for returning an item never worn, still with tags in original shipping bag within return timeline? I will be purchasing my sportswear elsewhere as apparently the company itself can care less. I have no faith in this company's return process now and therefore no longer have buyer confidence using their online site. Sizes lately have been very off and I even received a defective item this month. I will purchase only from a store now and it won't be anytime soon.
I have had the same pair of Columbia sunglasses for 25 years. Columbia boots for 5+ years. Quality!
Did two online orders for $17 each. Website stated that returns can be done to the store.
Drove to store to reurn, 52 miles round trip.
Store refused to process return because it was paid with Paypal. Stated that Paypal orders can only be mailed back by corporate policy. As I found out this isi stated on their website if you look very hard. It is NOT stated at purchase or where they state that returns can be made to their stores.
Ended up wasting my time and gas and will have to pay for return shipping.
Columbia.com deducts $6 for each return.
Since they were different orders, I paid $6 twice, $12 on a total $34 dollars to return a flawed product.
Out of the $34 I paid, I'll get back $22 for two shorts that were mis-designed. This was not a normal size issue. They were too tight at the hips. This is not an issue I have ever had in ANY other pant or short of correct waist size.
Will not use this vendor again.
I returned shoes (promptly, unworn, tried on one time) which Columbia received on 1/11/2023. Today is February 8th and still no refund. I've called "customer service" multiple times. I was told refund in 7 days, then 7-10 days, then by the end of the week (was told that twice) and still no refund. They give no explanation, I just get the old "sorry for the inconvenience" line which actually helps nothing and makes me angry. In this day and age refunding to a credit card should take a few days at most.
I placed an order and within 10 minutes I realized there was a small typo in address. I immediately got on chat with an agent and was told they cannot change address or cancel the order once placed. They said they would do what they could to try and change the order ince it shipped, but could not guarantee the address would be updated or that they could request a return to sender. So I guess I just loose that money and product if it is delivered to wrong address? They would not give me an answer to that. How can a company survive with such antiquated computer systems? This has been an all around horrific experience! If they cannot make a simple address change or cancel within minutes of placing the order, how would they handle a more difficult request like a size exchange? Never again will I buy from this company and I suggest you look to North Face or another similar company to purchase from.
I ordered the wrong color so I called them within 15 minutes to try to fix it and they were not able to change the color or cancel my order and I'm sending it out of state to elderly that can't return it they need to have a better system to modify in these cases like other companies I am disappointed
I never received my stuff that was delivered by USPS. Columbia customer service took 14 days to investigate and said there's nothing they can do. So they took my $120. I am left in the cold with no merchandise. The back and forth communication is a waste of time. It's very petty. Macy or Amazon has better policy. Do not support Columbia. These are hard times and I cannot get my money back. I reported to BBB.
We have been waiting For a refund for over a month and keep getting the run around. The warehouse has the return but hasn't proceeded it yet. Not my problem. I have called 4X. I will never ordered from them again.
I have a Columbia coat that my 4-year-old can't use and the suggestion was that I buy him another new coat so I can send the broken one in... and then I would get credit to replace the broken coat. Why would I need credit if I already bought him a coat? Why would I want to go through this again? I have two kids and I have always bought them Columbia coats because I thought Columbia was a good brand and that they stood by their products, but apparently not anymore. FYI My son used this coat for less than 2 weeks and the zipper keeps splitting apart from the bottom. The warranty does not help at all. I will no longer buy my kids Columbia coats.
I purchased $150 gift card on November 28th to be used on Black Friday sale item, which was promised to be delivered electronically to my email address within 24 hours.
It has been over 3 days and I still don't have the gift card!
I did not receive the gift card on time to use it towards Black Friday discounted item. I talked to 4 customer care agents and all I heard is "I'm sorry we can't refund gift card purchases!"
Their policy states "no refunds on gift cards" needles to say they are holding me hostage with no refund and no gift card in last 3 days. Empty promises, policies to protect themselves, poor customer service. I do not recommend columbia.com to anyone!
First-time customer, products defective right out of the bag, lacking quality control, unhelpful, arrogant, inflexible and condescending customer service, want me to run around town fixing their quality control problems at my time and expense. NEVER, NEVER, EVER AGAIN. The worst buying experience I ever had with any online company. The same issue would have taken 2 minutes with amazon.com to solve, at Columbia 45 minutes in the chat (incl. Helpless supervisor) with no result whatsoever. Leaving reviews and warning friends wherever I can about this disastrous company. Buy somewhere else. It's cheaper, possibly not broken right out of the box, and the customer service can only be better than here.
For God Sake! DO NOT Place an Order online and possibly need to edit ANYTHING because Columbia Sportswear will NOT allow! They prefer to go ahead and send it to the wrong address so their customer loses the money they spent and the gift they purchased goes to someone else. LOUSY Company that cares NOTHING about it's customers! I will never spend a dime on anything from this company again and will tell everyone I know! All I needed to do was edit the address of where I was sending my items and they just said they can't do that. No reason whatsoever.
Answer: When they open at 4am its easy on the phone but later it can take an hour, maybe because of Christmas.on chat i had to wait 10 min
