Site gets frozen and just loops—I got 2 orders and tried to return one and they don't take returns. Don't buy from them, just a matter of time til you are very sorry.
Ordered their Hocus Pocus Collection for 2021 on 9/24/21. All but the candle shipped by 9/30/21 which we were told would ship separately & we'd get a shipping confirmation. Ok, I wait a few days and email them. I got the shpeel about "it's shipping separately". Ugh. Wait another few days, email again asking for a shipping estimate or a refund for that portion of my order. Same shpeel "shipping separately". This time they through in covid mandates as the reason for not being able to give a shipping update. Except you already shipped everything else! Wth? I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau. If you look thru their IG page on the hocus pocus posts you'll see that they've had shipping issues with the collection according to posts from other users and reports of terrible customer service. If you want a colourpop item I would suggest checking to see if it is available at Ulta before trying to ordering from colourpop directly.
This company is a scam! I placed a decent sized order and they stole my money sent ONE item out of 30 and when I asked for my money back they said they don't give refunds even though I never received the other products! Three months of waiting, emailing, calling them and NOTHING! I contacted the BBB and my bank to go after them for my money finally got it back just this week… Beware! I'm like 99% their products they have posted don't even exist. What company has the time and money to make this much product and collabs but can't do simple customer service or do refunds or exchanges. Think about it….
I made a purchase on the ColourPop website on June 23rd and after a few days I got the information that the order had already left the country. On the 19th of July, through the website, I was informed that the order was already in Portugal, so I waited for it to be delivered to me or for the carrier (DHL) to contact me.
Since that didn't happen and 2 months had passed, I decided to get in touch with ColourPop. However, ColourPop informed me that I should contact DHL, which I did. After exchanging emails, I found out that not only had the order been returned (on July 19, which is, more than 2 months ago), but I would not get any return from Colourpop as their return policy does not allowed them to. So I not only lost my money but also my time.
I was really disappointed because it was a brand from which I had already shopped and I had never had any problems before, apart from the fact that they take some time, however I never saw it as an obstacle. Now, in addition to losing me as a customer, I will also ensure that everyone I know does not make purchases through their website, otherwise they will run out of your products and money.
Waited for almost two months, the item was already in destination country, however the package was suddenly identified as undeliverable and had to be sent back to USA. Paid the most expensive ever shipping fee for nothing! The customer service only shirk their responsibility and ask customers to contact the courier company. Never have this problems with other companies.
Package was sent back it's been a month and I have not received a refund in days since notifying them.On going months later with no word back from them what so ever I reached out again and was denied a refund despite never being notified or contacted back on the status of my package by the company and getting my money back since I never received the item. Basically took my money never informed me on when my package was sent back despite stating they'd get back to me on that and said oh well.
I have always loved Chewy and was so excited to become a more fully committed shopper when I got my pup in March. The reason why I give it 2 stars is because I am moving to Hawai'i soon and they do not ship outside of the main US. It was really a huge let down to know that I just switched to this amazing dog food and I was going to save so much but now I will have to switch yet again in such a short time because of their lack of commitment to the entire US. Not only do I have to change dog food after ordering just one bag because they don't ship out to HI, very few pet stores actually carry the brand. It's a shame that commitment is a one way street with Chewy. Granted, I should have looked into local pet stores where I'm moving but at the same time, I was not expecting Chewy to give us the cold shoulder and forget about us. 2
I ordered over 100 USD worth of makeup. It was never delivered, I was told to take it with the post office. If only! The company they use for delivery has an average of 1.2 stars in review because they routinely lose/steal packages, and they are unreachable. By dealing with these scammers, Colourpop made me waste me money and time, no refund was issued. I am deeply unsatisfied.
I got the wrong order, a package with a value UNDER the amount I spend on my order, e-mailed them with pictures and everything but no reply. I'm angry and I feel robbed. I don't understand how a big brand like this is fine with such customer service. I think the answer is simple, they don't care and they don't care about my money. I will never order from them again.
ColourPop's eyeliners suck. The consistently break and crumble. I have tried to exchange products, but they don't answer emails.
Even though their products are awesome, their customer service is horrible. Rude, they don't read what you're writing, and as others have said it's like talking to a robot.
Declaring the wrong value of a package is fraud, be it lower or higher than the true value. They have no problem putting down the wrong value and then say they cannot do anything about it and not refunding you the unnecessary costs you've made. Even when you show them documentation from local customs that they're in the wrong.
So be aware when you buy from them.
I ordered about $55 worth of products from Colourpop back in March because I wanted to do some fun makeup looks for Pride. Within about a week, they emailed me saying that my order had been delayed but didn't give any sort of a time frame on when it would ship. Two months went by, and I was starting to get concerned, so I emailed customer support asking if I could get any sort of update on my order. At this point it was May. Keep in mind that their website says that they do their best to reply within 48 business hours. Anyways, another month went by, and I still hadn't gotten any updates about my order or a response from their team. I then sent their team another email, this time requesting to cancel my order. This was in early to mid-June, and I still haven't heard back. Essentially the only way to contact them is through email, since they don't have a phone number, so I feel stuck at this point. I do not intend to purchase from Colourpop again after this experience.
My last package, everything came broken and shattered. I reached out to their customer service team 3 times and they hadn't responded to me until I had posted my experience on social media. Colourpop dm'd me and helped resolve the problem by sending new products. Wish they got my first email but sometimes things happen. I'm just glad they were willing to help me out and send me new, undamaged replacements! :)
Some products are awful and useless. Beware buying from the official site as they have no refunds! Buy from Ulta or pass on this brand.
I used to like the product earlier. And now something went wrong with them. That is why I give them only 3 stars. Hope that they will improve everything.
Their customer service is not that great and long shipping times. I made an order and they forgot one of my products. So when I message them back they said they would give me a credit for it the purchase value of it and could not send me the product they missed. So for me who lives in Canada to order it I would have to go back to paying full price (Because I used a discount code) and pay for shipping.
More often than not, I have had items missing from my packages. But I always gave ColourPop a shot because they were replaced. This time around, my latest package was shipped on 3/26/21 and I have yet to be receive it. I contacted DHL, USPS, and ColourPop. DHL is not answering my messages beyond the obligated automated messages, USPS confirmed that they are waiting for the package (since DHL should have provided it to USPS), and ColourPop just told me to contact DHL and USPS when I already mentioned communicating with them. I will continue to fight for my money, but this is ridiculous. I understand that this is affordable makeup, but in the is day and age where companies are folding (especially during a pandemic), I don't expect for ColourPop to continue much further if they keep these shady practices to avoid refunding customers.
Great company that used to have really good products. But in the last couple years their customer service has been awful, they don't respond to people and you're lucky if you can get a response from them and their email team. I've seen lots of comments on Instagram talking about how people have not gotten their orders after spending hundreds of dollars and waiting months. On Instagram I responded to a girls comment telling her the exact same thing and my comment got deleted and later I got a DM from colour pop after I had told others that they're service was $#*!. They also deleted my comment so others couldn't read. Sad because I used to really like this company but it's gone to $#*!
I ordered some cosmetics and ship them through a shipping company because some products couldn't ship to HK directly.
And I found there's a missing item! I ordered 2 boxes of going coconut eye shadow palette, but there's only one. I showed them the photos of the products I received and the box.
I emailed them several times but they keep saying "... items shipped using a mail forwarding service are not eligible for replacements of any kind."
I did opened the sealed parcel from ColourPop myself! It's totally not related to the shipping company! ColourPop distracted their mistakes to the shipping service company and denied the fault they made! They refused to take the responsibility and not refund me anything! It's definitely unacceptable!
I ordered a couple of lipsticks from ColourPop Cosmetics that never arrived. I tried contacting customer service and they told me to contact USPS for the order that I never received. I did that but didn't receive any helpful information. I then proceeded to email ColourPop again addressing how dissatisfied I was with the back and forth I was being put through and did not receive a reply. After a week of waiting, I sent a follow-up email stating that a new package would be sent out with a tracking number, but was not given the option of getting a full refund. I have yet to receive this 'new' package and the tracking number that I received does not work. Overall, I am very dissatisfied and I will never be buying from them again.
