I was a first time buyer to the Hocus Pocus collection, the first day of launch when they were suppose to do it, I waited an hour to try and get on the site then another hour to wait for an announcement that they couldn't launch that day. Then the next day happened, there was a line up for products and barely anyone actually got anything from the collection never mind the whole collection, I find colourpop to overhype & disappoint I have never experienced anything like this in my life & I hope they eventually get shut down for horrible quality business, I've also heard of people not receiving there orders & not getting any help with getting them back or a resend. Disgusting

Colourpop.com is illegally putting expiry dates on credits provided to their customers. In my instance, they made an error and did not ship me two items that I had paid for. I let them know using the proper channels and they offered me a credit for the two items with a three month expiry date. I responded that there should be no expiry date as they have my money and cannot tell me that they will keep it without providing me with a product or service (unjust enrichment) due to some arbitrary date passing (in this case, the expiry of the credit). California Law agrees with this. No expiry period is permissible. You give them the money, they ‘owe' you merchandise. They can't take your money and offer you nothing in return. This is because, rather than return items, which they do not allow, I did not receive items that I paid for. So the credit they issued me is no different than a gift card in that sense. Especially since it only applies to their store and their merchandise. As a kicker, the items I did buy and didn't receive are out of stock now. I don't want any other product. I wanted those items. Why give me only three months hoping they restock what I originally order? It's unconscionable and extremely unfair to their customers. So I wouldn't let this go and they offered me a one-time monetary return and I took it. I won't be a customer anymore and I was a fan(atic). It's too bad, but integrity and fairness means a lot to me in life and in business. They have many competitors so I'm not losing one bit.

Never received my order. Contacted the company several times. No significant response. Just too bad shipper says delivered. Reported them to BBC and payment method. Never again. Cheap product with cheap results.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. At all

Colourpop would be a great value if their customer service wasn't TRASH. They have no transparency or accountability as a company with their customers. The processing times for their items is poor and instead of making customers aware of this before ordering the hide their hand and hope no one cares. I have waited almost 10 days and my package has not shipped and I have been given no answers. They have no phone service and only offer email as contact. The emails they send are generic as well, offering no actual insight for the customers. I cannot believe a company this large would offer NO customer support

Horrible customer service

Have bought from the site previously with no issues. Recently bought one of their full collections and it went on sale the week I received the package. Used their email (no phone number) to ask for a refund of the difference and was told no "because it wouldn't be fair to their customers". Excuse me?! I am... or rather WAS a customer.

I ordered the lip collection and the new garden collection when it first came out. I've purchased every collection that came out after that! I received my candy land & sailor moon collections & yet to receive any updates on my previous order. I continued to receive emails that they were shipping my order and to not be "anxious" (I stupidly believed them). I then received an email LYING to me that they had an error entering my shipping address (it's a business!) and lost my package but still couldn't provide any tracking information! I work in fulfillment, I KNOW when you're lying Colourpop! They NEVER shipped my order and lied that it was lost. They offered to give me "credit" because they couldn't replace my whole order but can ship 1 of the 4 items on the order. I will NEVER order from them again & will certainly let all my clients know. Worse customer service ever. Just be REAL. "Issues entering your shipping address" I received an order confirmation, I didn't see any errors! I received the rest of my orders that were order after this just fine using the same address. Stop bs-ing.

I have always love Colourpop, and I have been using them for years. Until recently when I won a giveaway and I have contacted them in every method under the sun just to get my prize. I have contacted their Twitter, Facebook, email, their special email. I'm not sure what is taking them so long but they told me that they weren't shipping them to the warehouse at first but it continues on to just telling me they're "working" on it. Someone told me they're experiencing the same problem. If you win a giveaway, expect not receiving anything. Why do they gotta do dirty like that to their fans?

VERY Slow shipping

It's my first time ordering online with ColourPop, and after reading all these negative reviews I wishI hadn't. It took a week to just "process" my order before it was actually prepared for shipping. Then another week to send it to the DHL distribution centre (Oxnard to Compton, CA)? Then apparently it gets sub contracted to be sent via regular USPS - but they haven't actually received my package yet to send it on. Tracking says estimated delivery in 4 days from now, but if USPS haven't even received it yet, who knows? Even with COVID, this is ridiculous. If I ever receive my order, I sure hope it's in tact and new condition. Poor service from the start. I will never buy from them again.

There was an item missing in my order. When I contacted them by email they said they wanted to see a photo of all the products that I got and of the shipping box. Well I gave my friend half of the products as a present straight away after picking them up from post office as the order was already 2 months late. In the evening when I noticed that there was an item missing my friend had thrown away the shipping box already. I tried to explain the situation to them but they wrote to me the same email again and again as it would be an automatic answer, that without the photo of the shipping box they were not able to return the money of the missing product. I proved them receipt of customs fee I had also pay of each product as well as receipt of the order and information of my bank card. But those were not enough. I lost just about 12 euros so its not about money, its about definition why ill never order anything from them anymore. The customer service was horrible and they didnt want to admit that they made a mistake.

Takes forever!

I ordered on July 2nd. I wanted to get my mom a birthday present and her birthday was July 13th. Figured that I would be there on at least the 9th or 10th considering that's more than 10 days for it to have been delivered. It is now July 15th, my expected delivery day, which is 13 days after I ordered might I add. And the package has been sitting in my states capital facility since July 10th. The capital is only an hour and a half drive from where I live so why does it take 5 days for them to put it on the truck and ship it out? Will not be ordering from here again cause this is ridiculous and I'm very mad I didn't get to give my mom her present on her birthday.

The website is easy to use, lots of products that seem great. I wouldn't know because my parcel was lost (like a lot of people's!) I contacted them after three weeks as the tracking said that the parcel had not left the US. They sent me an email that said it had just missed a scan and would be with me soon and to get back in contact if I did not receive my parcel in 21 working days.
After 21 working days had passed, I contacted them to let them know that the parcel was still in the US. They told me that local post in my country had been suspended and I should contact local customs. I knew this was untrue, but I still contacted local postage services who said, no, local post has not been suspended and no, this parcel was not in the country.
I contacted Colourpop for the third time and was offered a refund. I accepted the refund after reading all these horror stories.
The refund was $13 less than I had been charged all those months ago, but I figure this was a fine for not researching this company enough before purchasing.

Fantastic makeup, but they just don't GAF about you. They offer nothing more than cut-and-paste bs responses when you contact them. They stopped shipping for Covid-19 about a week after I placed a large order for my birthday, and it hadn't shipped yet. That crushed me, but of course, I understood. I got a mass email saying my order would be a priority when shipping resumed. When shipping resumed, I got another mass email, but WEEKS went by, and my order still hadn't shipped. I sent several emails and got no sense that they cared in any way. The products arrived over two months after the order was placed.
I took a chance and ordered again on June 11th. Shipping notification two hours later. I was thrilled. But, guess what? No updates since, and everyone I know who ordered the exact same new release palettes had it in their hands a week ago. My package doesn't appear to have left the warehouse, according to the tracking.
I can't believe a business can behave with this little regard to their customers. There's enough great makeup out there that I'll be taking my money somewhere that values my business. I will always recommend others do the same.
Shame on you, colourpop.

Colourpop sucks! This isn't the first time they've messed up my order. This is the 2nd and last time they messed it up because I refuse to buy from this broke a** company who has no customer service skills and takes my money and runs with it instead of trying to fix the problem.My tracking number has been unavailable since I got a shipping confirmation email that it has been shipped out. This was on June 11. Two days later it is still saying unavailable without a peep from them. This better get resolved or I'm filing a complaint to the BBB against your company and disputing the charge with my bank.Im tired of going through this with y'all. I wish I could give zero stars because this company is crap!

I ordered 12 eyeshadow pans from them and they forgot one. I've been emailing them back and forth for about 2 weeks now and they are refusing to send me a replacement... Even though I paid for it and it was their fault for forgetting it. Also, their eyeshadows are patchy AF and don't last very long.

I purchased some things from Colour Pop website and it still hasn't been arrived. It's been almost half a year since I've placed my order and the most important part I've paid for it and I'm still waiting for it.
I was emailing them a couple of times and asked for help, refund or at least tell me the decent information about where my package at right now. Because I suppose it got lost somewhere or somebody actually might took it.
So I didn't get any help from them obviously, only words that I have to wait more time and SOMEDAY it will come.
I didn't get neither my money back nor my order.

So many things about this makeup is just plain amazing. The 9 pan eyeshadows are perfect, precision brow pencil is amazing, ultra lip gloss is a good formula, and customer service is good. I never have had any problems with any orders.

I ordered $80+ worth of products on March 6th, and was notified that the order shipped March 11th. On March 18th, I contacted the company because the shipping site said that the shipper was waiting for the package. Customer service told me to check the shipper's web site for shipping information, basically confirming they didn't read my email. About 20 or so emails and just under 3 months later, they still won't issue a refund for this order that never shipped and keep telling me my order is "processing" as they get their fulfillment center back up and running and they ignore every request for a refund. The thing about it that I can't make sense of is that all of this runaround must cost something in terms of Human Resources. Instead of making all of your cs reps send out email after email giving people the brush off, why not just issue the refund, make the customer happy and look forward to me coming back for something else in the future? At this point, I'm super irritated and I initiated a chargeback through my credit card company since this is basically legal, low level fraud. Their makeup isn't Pat McGrath in a $8 palette - but even if it were, they're pretty disrespectful of their customers and I don't get down with that.
