Loved the north shore set when we saw it in the store. Loved the price online more than I loved the price in the store though.
Not much to write. Bought a lamp for less then I saw it in the store and I screwed in the lampshade and plugged it in and wow, I have light.
We purchased a 7 pc leather sectional a yr ago online and the quality of this furniture for the price that we paid is really poor and it didn't even last a yr. It's not just one or two small areas that have lost its dye. It's looking more like fake leather now with the fading and discoloration in multiple areas. When we called customer service they said we would have to pay to have it repaired but they "might" be able to send us some replacement leather pieces. We explained there are too many areas that have lost its dye. The repairs that they expect us to pay for would cost almost as much as the set did. We paid almost $3,000 for this "leather" sectional. We expected better quality and for the set to last much longer than a yr and now it looks like total crap. This set is definitely NOT worth what we paid for. We will never purchase from Coleman's again and we already filed a compalint with the BBB. Buyers beware because this company is ripping people off. We suggest steering clear from Coleman Furniture and to buy elsewhere.
Our new sectional is a real winner. It's priced right and its big and heavy. I am thrilled I didn't need to figure out how to set it up as the delivery guys did it.
I found that the sectionals that were in two big pieces instead of say 5 smaller pieces came out a bit cheaper. We went with a Tess one and have been very pleased.
We were downsizing now that our youngest had moved on to college and we were empty nesters presiding over too large a nest. However rather then move most of our furniture we opted to go fresh and new and change the look to more modern and contemporary style. First off we sold and donated all our old set. We then went to several stores with a huge list. We needed 2 bedroom sets, a dining room set, a counter height dinette set and a living room set with coffee tables. After picking all the different pieces we wanted we shopped online to compare as the local store wanted nearly a thousand dollars just for delivery and we thought we would save online. We winded up finding it with free delivery and full installation free of charge only on Coleman which was the deciding factor for us.
I was kind of hoping that the cupholder piece can be pulled out of the loveseat but the sales guy told me it's built in. Now that we have it was actually like it and find the storage armrest a great place to keep the remote.
Absolutely awful company. They will actually try to deliver damaged furniture and if you object they will refer you to their fine print policy which states that they have the right to repair any items ordered and you have to accept it unless you want to pay a 25% restocking fee. Additional problems were no communication with holding company. I had to call them after the items were held for over a month. Coleman had on their records the items had been delivered twice over which I had to argue with them that I had not received any delivery of product. They have no communication with suppliers. I would receive stock email updates that they would communicate with the manufacture and let me know ASAP on the status of my order. It never happened. Stay away from this company and cover your wallet is the best I can say.
I asked an online question before ordering my Ashley sofa set. I knew I was getting fake leather but wanted to know if it was real carved wood. I was told yes by Coleman. After my long 7 week wait for my furniture it arrived. Fake carved wood!... it is synthetic molded material (probably saw dust).
Pros: Power sofa reclining, comfortable yet doesn't feel like you are sinking in, looks good, came with free shipping and in home setup.
Cons: Power button on sides, would have preferred a remote, needs fair amount of space to fully recline. All things considered we are happy with it. Just make sure you take your room dims well to make sure it'll work for you.
We ordered a bedroom set we found at ashleys but was informed that some of the pieces were only coming in later. We were offered to take the delivery in two parts or in one large delivery and we picked the later. The delivery guys spent well over an hour setting up everything up and I'm glad I didn't need to find the help as there is no way I would have been able to do it alone. Some of the pieces are very heavy such as the dresser and the chest.
We loved the bedroom set because of the upholstered headboard and wooden footboard. I love how they contrast against each other and the footboard perfectly matched the other units of the set.
The features showed a different size from the dimensions on the site. I did have to call in to clarify it but basically it's an extendable table which is why it had the discrepancy. Once it was clearer to me we took our measurements, ordered it, waited a few weeks to receive it, and have been enjoying it since.
Dresser and mirror came and the delivery guys screwed in the mirror to the top of the dresser which was nice. Overall provides more desperately needed storage within our bedroom.
Although I was let down when I found out the items I ordered were actually no longer available. I found a worthy replacement set that will fit our living room space and style. The fiance even said she likes the 2nd choice more although I think my first choice may have been better. It's pretty close but I think I liked the darker shades of the first choice. Homelegance didn't have that one but our 2nd choice did come in about two and a half weeks from when we ordered it.
Just wanted a simple sofa table to go line the side of our entryway and this one was within budget and wasn't too hard to put together. It came in about a week.
Loved my furniture when I first got it. After one year the couch and the Chase started peeling and the chaise is so bad that it's embarrassing to have people over if there's not a blanket covering the entire thing. The website stated that it was leather, not bonded or blended. There is a mesh or fabric underneath where the leather coating has peeled off. Purchased a sofa, loveseat and giant chaise.
Love Love my new luke leather set in the havana color. Took a while to get it as we picked a customer other than the fast ship model it's stunning and well worth the wait.
They came all the way out here to LA to deliver the furniture and they are out in NY. It sounded too good to be true but they kept their word and I didn't pay anything for delivery. Delivery included setup which for me wasn't a big deal as I'm a handy type but I will say I did enjoy having someone else do it if possible.
Needed something nice for the home office and most of our home is very bright and light so we decided on the parker house Boca series. Once we did that we went to google and found the cheapest was coleman,. We were ready to put it together but were pleasantly surprised to find out the delivery includes that.

Answer: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY Internet searching I found some furniture at a reasonable price, contacted the merchant to confirm the actual size of the furniture knowing it had to be moved through a narrow staircase. The representative stated that the furniture would be shipped unassembled, that the delivery persons would deliver and assemble the furniture into any room of our choice. Ordered based on representatives assurance that there would be no issues with delivery through the staircase. Waited. Waited. Waited. Nearly two months. Furniture arrives, fully assembled. Will not fit through staircase. Delivery persons load furniture back on truck and leave. Email customer service, I'm told to call. Call, get transferred to several representatives telling each of them the situation, each of them stating manager would resolve everything for me. Receive email from Coleman Furniture, 'Rom Tacata' does not give any title or call back number; states that I have restock fees and am being charged round trip shipping charge (for the free shipping). That I will only receive about half of the amount I paid for the furniture back. He never once addressed any of my concerns. Worst service ever. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.
Answer: Believe them! If your furniture arrives with obvious defect, they will do nothing. My sofa has a huge gap and not only will they not fix it, they will not put a claim through Ashely Furniture warranty. Stay far away from Coleman Furniture

It will take you 5 months to get a damaged item... save a bit and go to Ashley during memorial day/ veteran day july 4th or a major holiday. Lol it's so BBB cant track each I'm learning. Coleman is a shell. Renegade is a " parent " so it's harder to get things done. Use a credit card you use for nothing else if you are foolish enough to venture into this.

Answer: My dining set is solid wood. Chairs are strong and sturdy. The table has the original knots and markings making each piece one of a kind. You can tell the table was one solid cut rather than pieces put together
