Coldwater creek will be out of business soon. They all ready closed their store in monroeville pa found out the hard way, traveled 52 miles to the store for exchange, wasted alot of my time.
I like your catalogue and the clothing in it very much. Your shipping charges, however are outrageous. I will not be ordering again unless there is a free shipping offer.
My wife tried to order two items from the catalogue with painful results. When she first called she told the young man on the phone that she wanted to check that the items she wanted were still in stock before preceding any further. Under protest he did so but when she was assured that the items were in stock he made the sarcastic comment "maybe we can now start". My wife then told him that if was too much trouble for him maybe she get another agent to help he changed his tune and my wife ordered two items to be sent directly to our daughter. One item was sent to our daughter but the second was sent to my wife who called customer service. The young lady in customer service ignored the miss-sending of the item and kept insisting that they needed our daughters bank numbers to complete the purchase. My wife finally gave up, told the girl that she would now resend the item ourselves to which the lady merely said "that's good" and ended the session.
Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing anything. As a long time retail customer of this store, I expected the same wonderful products and service from their online operation but have been sorely disappointed. First of all, their shipping charges are outrageously high. Second, I returned an item because it was much larger than expected. I decided I didn't want to keep trying to find a good fit so purchased something similar from another online company. When I called to find out what happened to my credit, they told me they're "very busy" at the warehouse and it could take a couple more weeks for them to refund my money. After the rep checked with the supervisor, they managed to get my credit within a few days.
The capper for me, though, was the poor quality of a pair of summer shoes I purchased. At $39 I didn't expect the shoes to last a lifetime, but after about 6 wearings the soles separated from the shoe! I took some photos, wrote a letter and sent it to their online web address. My email was promptly returned with a mailer daemon message, "No mx record found for domain" So I called and was told I could mail pictures to their street address. Then I explained that all I wanted was for them to send me a prepaid address label and refund my money. What they could do for me was allow me to send the shoes to them and the people at the warehouse would then decided if my request should be granted. At this point, I will not be bothered spending more money, time or aggravation trying to return the shoes. When I continued talking to the rep, asking him to remove my name from their mail list, he had already hung up.
I am so sad to say it but stay as far away from this place as you can get.
I ordered a cardigan, received the items I ordered along with the cardigan, but got an email saying the cardigan had been discontinued. Then, a couple of weeks later, I noticed the exact same cardigan advertised on their site for a higher price. I contacted customer service about this and they never even replied.
Just got fall cat though I stopped buying years ago when they had all the shakeups and stopped selling great clothes. They used to have amazing clothes, jewelry etc; then some new buyer with zero taste started offering boring, ugly outfits from someone's basement apparently. Just awful. I would check back periodically, but still ugly. This new cat shows some change, but sorry; I do not trust this store or brand anymore. They'll go belly up again. Soft Surroundings and local boutiques for me now.
Purchased a linen shell less than a year ago. Washed it 3-4 times according to instructions. Last time it came out of the machine with the fabric having separated into a big tear on the front. Checked other laundry for sharp zipper or other cause, but found nothing. Cold Water Creek says no help for anything more than 3 months from purchase.
Both the line person who answered my call and the manager she turned the problem over to were bureaucratic, gave robotic answers which didn't make sense nor indicate that there was any sense of problem solving. Utter lack of curiosity displayed by both. I was ready to drop over $200 on their brand new catalog but wondered why one scarf did not register when I tried to order it. I was told they were out even though the catalog just came out, and I told them that I didn't think that was the problem, there was another issue, the site itself didn't recognize the item number, as if it never existed. She actually indicated this was normal?! I suggested that if the item were truly backordered, why didn't the site recognize the item, and give the customer a message that it was either out of stock or backordered. This was for scarf #******* off the brand new fall 2017 catalog. It was a genuine suggestion to a genuine problem, as no other retailer handles items this way. No help. No indication they were interested in bringing it to another level or solving the mystery. Nope. They were just waiting for the call to end. What dumbasses, I felt like I was talking to a soul less agency. I decided not to spend any money on the other items I was going to order. They used to be so awesome, so sad.
I used to buy ALOT from the original Coldwater Creek company. This company is NOT the same. Their policies are atrocious. I placed a sizeable order from this new company and paid a ridiculous amount for shipping thinking it would arrive in just a few days. It took 10 days for the package to arrive and one of the items was even missing from the package. I returned the entire order right away and now they tell me it takes 3 to 4 weeks to reach their warehouse before they will even BEGIN the return process. WHAT? I am in New Hampshire and they are based in Massachusetts... the next state from me. I could drive to their location in 1 1/2 hours. Their customer service clerks are rude. Their shipping policy is ridiculous. The quality of the clothing is chinzy based on what I received ($421 order) and their return policy/return shipping is ludicrous. This company will NOT last. Do NOT buy anything from them. You will not be happy. I anticipate they will go out of business very quickly. Be VERY careful!
When I ordered I never even got an email response. Strange for an online-only store.) I did, however, see a charge on my charge card. After a month I was getting 'Thanks for your order' emails, but had not gotten the merchandise I had ordered. I called to find out what had happened and they said that the item was out of stock, but could not give me a date when the charges had been reversed. After some conversation the customer service rep offered to take me off of their email list. I said ok. That never happened. I am still getting emails from them. Why shop from a place like this?
I purchased knit denim jeans. They were very expensive and shipping was almost 20% of the cost. I posted a negative review of the jeans and said I would not recommend them and that shipping was too high in this day and age. They would not post my review although I followed all the guidelines of posting a review. Of course I can't return the jeans because they have been washed. Their shipping charges, policies and general customer service are outdated. Since you can't go to a store anymore to try anything on you take an expensive chance trying their clothes.
Product was on back order. They finally shipped the wrong item. When I called about returning it I was not told that the product was still on back order and not expected for another month! I called again for more info after receiving an email. Too much time was spent on the phone to get this information. I will not order from CC again.
I had purchased two bras, but after under going breast cancer surgery, I could not wear them. They have never been worn, still in the package with the tags still on, but because the order was over 90 days, they would not consider a return. It wasn't as though I purposely hung onto them or forgot about them; I had hoped I could wear them, but after completion of my cancer treatment it was obvious I wouldn't be able to. I was willing to consider a credit on future purchases, but was not offered one. I won't be ordering from Coldwater Creek in the future and from reading the other reviews it appears others have had problems too and Coldwater Creek is not a good company to be doing business with. I hope this information and my experience is helpful to others. I will pass my experience on to others.
Received my package but it had no Return Label in it. I called Customer Service and she is going to email me one. It has been awhile and I still have not received it. Nancy J Nielsen
I placed an order for 4 items on Feb 5,2017. I received one item quickly. I then received two more items and both were sent back for refund. I have now been waiting for my refund for 4 weeks and no refund as of yet. I cancelled my last order via e-mail and phone and yet the website still says they will ship it. I am so frustrated with their poor customer service and the wait time on items to be shipped. I will not do business with Coldwater Creek again.
I ordered three items from Coldwater Creek. I never received the order. The post office returned the order to CoIdwater Creek. I telephoned several times, then: "We are looking into it. Call us back Monday." Monday: "We can give you a definitive answer on Friday." Friday: "I" the supervisor said, "will call you back next Wednesday." RIGHT!
I think their run-around is indicative of not only extremely poor customer service but also of a cash strapped company needing a slush fund to carry on financially from month to month. Prove me wrong Coldwater Creek! Give me my refund.
I bought a liquid silver necklace from Coldwater Creek that was marked sterling silver and had a price to match. I have taken very good care of this necklace but found that it would no longer shine. I took it to the jewelers for polishing and found out today that it is not sterling silver. When I called Coldwater Creek customer service I was told too bad, the necklace was from the "old" Coldwater Creek and it was my problem. I pointed out that this was sold to me under the Coldwater Creek name they are using and it was fraud to sell jewelry as sterling silver that was not the customer service agent tried to tell me that sterling silver does not last and can go bad. REALLY? Then why does my grandmother's sterling silver tableware still shine? These people are complete rip off's... both the old company that sold the fraudulently marked necklace and the company that bought their name. I will never buy anything again from Coldwater Creek and BEWARE of anything on the internet being sold as Coldwater Creek Sterling Silver... it is not!
Yet ANOTHER misrepresentation of a sale offer... 40% off one item! (ONLY IF YOU SIGN UP FOR A CREDIT CARD WITH US)! The supervisor I spoke with tonight was RUDE and condescending. Way to go, customer retention service at CWC. Lost a customer forever and I will be passing on my displeasure.
I purchased a pair of pants that were advertised as two for the price of one. Only one pair of pants were delivered and they refused to rectify the mistake. I returned the item as a matter of principal and will not buy from again.
Answer: Hiya Jane, Give their customer service a call, the number should be in your confirmation email (don't try to find it on their website). Customer service will then send you 2 emails, one is a shipping label. Do include your orginal shipping insert (take a pic of it) with the return items highlighted along with the Return Form filled out with the SKU/Style of each item you are returning. Best of luck
