I ordered a dress in May from a catalogue with a source code of CA8BUD1075 and received a return message thanking me as well as a ship date of June 24,2018.
Then, the order tracking no longer showed the CC tracking. Nothing but a message on the website that customers need to call regarding orders made prior to June 15.
Two charges appeared on my checking account making it appear that I was charged twice.
I called and was told that one of the charges would be removed and verified that it was. Because one charge remained on my bank account, I called for shipping information. I was told that they had no shipping information because the item is on backorder!
So, no dress, no shipping info on the dress, charged for the dress. I placed the order on May 21,2018.
If there was a "system upgrade", someone planned it very well for CC: get the customer's $ and don't send the goods!
I purchased a dress on-line on or about June 15 - unfortunately I needed to return it. I drove about 30 miles on a hot Sunday afternoon to return the item to the Burlington MA store. I expected to receive a credit to my debit card within a day or two - instead the sales person tells me CC is not processing any on-line purchases for two weeks as they are "redoing" the system. Although the store had other options such as a cash refund at the store they just decided that customer service was unimportant - I did write to Sycamore Partners and of course received the "we had to make a hard decision" response - well my decision is easy absolutely no more purchases from this company. I would like to write to the company CEO David Walde but have been unable to locate an address. I hope the company fails again - they deserve to do so.
Sent two items back for exchange to different size. Was charged a return shipping fee which they refuse to refund. They had computer problems, so they couldn't even look up my original order for two weeks. Are trying to charge me full price for the exchange, when I had a discount on the original order. Totally ripping off their clients. Was told their supervisors were too busy to talk to me at this time but they would call me. Just like thieves in the night.
I ordered a shirt - paid extra to have it in 2 days - was 9 days before getting it. Customer service said I could not cancel - send it back. Poor quality fabric for an $80 cotton blouse - Walmart has better quality. Years ago bought ColdWater exclusively - not now - thankfully I did not purchase the $110 linen shirt - I wont be going back. Don't purchase from them - sad they are not what they used to be - if they were I would gladly pay the price for their items. I see that my thoughts are already posted - so "buyer beware".
I am always attracted to several things when I browse the catalog but really, $90. For a top?! I thought maybe their clothing is something special for prices like this but the quality is the same as any department store. Why rip people off. Not worth the crazy high prices.
Pros: attractive catalog, some clothes fit OK. CONS: 1) terrible at notifying you a product is back ordered/ delayed/ out. Ordered things for Valentines Day- was NOT told until after Feb 14 -WHEN I CALLED it was out of stock. Ordered a dress April 22,2018- I needed by May 18- was to be shipped May 4th- DELAY, delay, delay! It is MAY 29 and STILL NO info. ARG! 2) Many items poor fit. 3) Many items now cheap & poor quality... I loved the stores but now seems MOST items NOT worth ordering! WHEN will I learn to not be swayed by the pretty catalog?
I purchased a dress as a gift for my daughter in March. The dress was way too big and she returned it the following week using their return label and paper asking why it was returned. The $112 was never taken off my credit card until I contacted my credit card myself. It is now the end of May and I am still fighting this disputed return. Never again will I order online from them. Not worth the ongoing fight over the return.
Why is it a retailer makes it easier to place an order than it is to return the items? I am spoiled by the ease in which Amazon provides user-friendly purchases and returns. Coldwater is still using the return form on the back of their shipping receipt. They have had my return for several days now, but Customer No Service requires the shipping number from the package to be able to give me any updates on the return. I made a large purchase from Coldwater in hopes of finding the right outfit for a wedding. I found a beautiful blouse but returned all the other options. Had I known the length of time from start to finish to handle this transaction, I would have never opted for this retailer for my shopping needs.
4/26/18 Received email from Cold Water Creek advising my order placd for the second time was cancelled. Dress no longer available in my size.
Called customer care again spoke with Kedarea, after being corrected 4 times that my pronunciation of her name was wrong (very condescending) Perhaps the customer who received my order and I hers is holding my order.
I will no longer be ordering anything from Cold Water Creek and would appreciate the company NOT SENDING ME ANY MORE MAGAZINES.
My order # 13280 was not received, instead received order #1321 a dress that was wrong dress, wrong size wrong price (invoice received for $119.95) my card was charged 167.96. WRONG ORDER RECEIVED. Shipped to wrong person. After call to Coldwater Creek this problem was resolved by Cindy however my time was wasted on something that should not have happen. Irene Walker
Will never order from here EVER. Received a gift for Xmas and talked w customer service in January and they said since it was a gift there was no time limit on the return. I called back in April and they would not honor an exchange or take ownership of the mistake via an extension of time for a return. Also if your Christmas gift is ordered in the beginning of December and you don't receive it till much later they go by the original ORDER date for 90 day returns on gifts. So you may in reality have only 60 days to return or exchange. DUMB POLICY. And I wouldn't exchange anyway. There clothing is INCREDIBLY UGLY IMO.
And the WORST customer service reps EVER. Uninformed, rude and unapologetic in a way that demonstrates a GENUINE desire to resolve issues for customers money THEY ALREADY HAVE.
Your clothes are wonderful (though quality is slipping) Chicos has free shipping and returns to the store, saving $20.95 over CWC shipping and returns. Chicos has more sales and a 5% discount without having to get a credit card. Chicos is available as a brick and mortar store, and so purches from you are risky (especially with your expensive merchandise and costly returns). Plese know that I mean to be helpful. But as for now, I can more easily afford Chicos. Your prices are really high and so is your postage. Not everyone wants another credit card, which is the only discount you give.
I ordered a quilted jacket which appeared to be of good quality and so I planned to keep it. However when i tried it on for a friend she pointed out that it was too baggy between the shoulders in the back and it puffed out. I then decided to return it, not realizing that it was past the 90 day return policy by approx 2 weeks. The jacket was sent back to me with no explanation, no email, with my address label placed over the return label. When I called to ask about it, I was told they probably sent it back because it was past the 90 days and they usually put a letter in it. Manager said same. They could not have cared less when told I would never shop there again. I would have been fine with receiving credit. They have the worst customer service of anywhere I shop and i shop online frequently. Will NEVER order from them again and will spread the word to my friends.
I ordered an outfit for a presentation early in February. Was notified sweater would not come for 5 weeks. Too late for me. Pants received and were not slim fit as described, really baggy- sent those back. All I kept was a tank top that I think I can work into another outfit-- hopefully in time. Also could not find receipt in package so I had to go back and print out the one I had online. What the heck has happened to this place?
For the first time in my life i decided to order a jacket from Coldwater. For some reason they abbreviated my address, therefore USPS could not deliver and received a message it was being sent back to them. I called them and asked if they could resend another shipment since 2 weeks had passed. Being that I am used to dealing with other retailers with great customer service I assumed they would resend item or refund my money. I was terribly wrong! They don't resend items even thought it was their mistake for abbreviating parts of my address, but they did not give me a refund. Every time I would call they were rude and basically told me to take a hike. Finally, after one month the post office sent them the package and a week later my money was refunded, but not the shipping even though they put an incorrect address. It's not even worth getting upset but I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM THE AGAIN! Buyer Beware

On Nov 27th I ordered a Sierra Henley for a Christmas present. The website said it was "In Stock", but after ordering, the confirmation said, "Expected to Ship December 22". I called & they advised me it was on back order. I told them that is NOT what your website says. THEY said the website is wrong a lot of the tine. So here it is, Christmas Eve, and they have the unmitigated gall to send me an email to tell me the shirt won't ship until December 28th! This is FALSE ADVERTISING, in one of it's truest forms. I will NEVER do business with this outfit again. And, they had better stop sending me their stupid catalog full of clothes that don't really exist!
Would like to see lower prices but the merchandise is high qualitiy and never had any service problems.
As I wrote previously, I had order over $200.00 worth of items from this company and never received it. I went through weeks of calling them and having the customer reps say that it was fed-ex problem and they couldnt do anything about it. I personally talked to some amazingly helpful Fed-Eex people who told me what had happened to my package. When Fed ex received the package it was empty, had no contents. They told me I needed to notify CCC. But, when I talked to CCC they treated me like an idiot and had no avenue for me to get any one on the phone who had the power to investigate the matter. In the end, I had to have a lawyer write them a letter threatening a lawsuit. When they got the letter what do you knowsomeone who had the actual power to do something called me and gave me a refund. So for all my time and effort I did get my money back. What a hassle. I have never had this bad of an online shopping experience.
Within 2 hours of making a purchase via 800 number for boots, with my credit card. The sales clerk that took my info used my credit card to purchase $850.00 from AT&T.
My credit card company notified me of the suspicious activity and I verified it was fraud and a Coldwater Creek employee used my info.
I used to shop their catalog and order, but over the years it has become too expensive, plus I really don't see anything I like anymore!
Answer: Hiya Jane, Give their customer service a call, the number should be in your confirmation email (don't try to find it on their website). Customer service will then send you 2 emails, one is a shipping label. Do include your orginal shipping insert (take a pic of it) with the return items highlighted along with the Return Form filled out with the SKU/Style of each item you are returning. Best of luck
