Returned item using their prepaid label on June 5,2020. As of today, June 30, their tracking info shows it still in transit. I emailed customer service it took two weeks for a response. Unbelievable!
In their email back to me they said it takes 10-14 days to receive a refund. How is that helpful info when it's already been 25 days? Ridiculous. Never again. LL Bean and J Jill will continue to receive ALL my business from now on.
I ordered a sweater on May 2nd. I've been trying to track my order since June 15th. I finally spoke with someone on June 17th who agreed to reorder the item and said it would arrive on Monday, June 21st. I called on Monday evening and couldn't get through. I received an email from UPS stating the item would be delivered Tuesday, June 22nd. Still no delivery and the cold water Creek website is frozen! Never, never again will I order anything from them.
When I didn't receive an item ordered, I checked the website to find it was cancelled. I called customer service and the automated response said that I had a 30 min wait and I could opt to get a return call in 30 min. I opted for the return call. The return call came in 30 min. And I was told that I was next in line to speak with a representative. Then I listened to automated messages to check the website to address my concern for 30 additional minutes after which I hung up.
Please accept our apologies for the unusual wait times. The pandemic took a toll on our usual ways of doing business. We can't wait to get back to this new nornal..
Horrible, inaccessible customer service. Purchased on 6/2 with charge on card. 6/3 they again charged my card without my permission. After 50 min wait for call back, 23 min wait after called back woman with thick accent lied to me and pretended to connect me to supervisor. Had to cancel card as unable to get satisfactory understanding on why they needed to charge different amounts on this card. Horrible business practices- watch your credit cards when you use them!
Thank you for your review. Our business practice, similar to many US online retailers, is to authorize your card at the time of your order. This places a hold on the money to ensure the funds are available. This authorization typically falls off your account within three to five business days depending upon your financial institution. You were not charged any amount when you placed your order. Once your merchandise ships, you are charged for items that shipped. If items ship separately, you are charged separately for the items. If you were charged for shipping, shipping costs are charged only at the first shipment. If your state collects taxes on the merchandise you bought, you will be charged for the price of the merchandise and the taxes your state requires. This is very typical in online commerce. This is outlined in our FAQs.
I placed an order for 3 pairs of leggings. Ended up receiving someone else's order. Sat on hold for 65 minutes to talk to someone who told me to mail back the order, and she would ship out a new order of my leggings. The following week I received another wrong order. Repeated being on hold and talking to a rep. Long process of confusion and re-explaining with rep. Another trip to the post office to mail back this second package. I requested a refund because I didn't trust I would ever receive my leggings, and I was tired of going to the post office to correct mistakes made by CWC. I was told by rep that my refund needed to be "approved" first. What?! I still haven't received the refund and will need to take out a case with my bank regarding what I spent for merchandise never received.
I placed an order for (2) dresses. Within a couple of hours I decided to cancel as dresses are something I re. Ally have to try on prior to purchasing. Anyway could not get through to this company by phone to cancel and being I didn't open an account with them could not get in to check on status so I emailed my cancellation. Upon no response I called and was on hold for 15 to 19 mins and finally got a live person. They could not cancel as they said the order was being processed/shipped. To make a long story short BS... is what this was. The order didn't go out until 2 1/2 weeks. I told then that when I rec'd the package I would return it (not accept it from UPS). I was told to accept it and they would be sending me a return label. So I waited and accepted the package and decided to open it to see if maybe the dresses would fit. Anyway there was only (1) dress in the package instead of (2) like I ordered and was charges $297.00... Well I have been emailing with no response from this company... I have called 3-4 times and put on hold 15-1=20 mins just to be told that label would be sent for my return and then refund. Why not refund my money for dress never shipped was the question on last call.The man was very rude saying that I would get a call back to let me know of my return and refund... Needless to say, NO CALL YET. NO LABEL YET & no refund. Do no order from this company... Not worth the aggrevation. I'm still battling for my refund
I used to purchase all of my clothes at Coldwater creek. I still have a blouse from 10 years ago with lovely details and it has held up great. Last summer I bought a blouse that faded after two washings. It was almost $70. By the end of the summer I had to throw it in the rag bag. I never had that problem before. I never had to take special care so that I could wear the item more than once or twice. I compare items I bought from Coldwater creek last year to items from other stores and the items from Coldwater creek are terribly pilled. The clothes look so nice in the catalog but the truth is I throw the catalog in the recycler when I get it. I will call them to have them stop sending them to me.
I am very unhappy with how new arrivals are advertising to order by a certain date and then 6 weeks later to be told out of stock and can't get any longer. I ordered as soon as the new item showed up and it said order now to receive item by a reasonable date. Then have the promised date to be changed several times and 6 to 8 weeks later be told not making item any longer. WHAT?! You tagged my account with a hold for payment and now it is past the time to even wear A spring sweater or blouses in my area and you are still extending the date out week by another week. And the clothes are expensive and put a lot of thought into my wardrobe from CCC as that Is my primary shopping place to be told that I can't have the items promised me when I ordered by the date you said to guarantee. And this has nothing to do with the latest virus as it has gone on like this for a year. Maybe your company thinks this way of doing business works for you but it doesn't work for me as all I wanted is the items I'm promised if I order by this certain date I will get my items. Too bad as I do like the quality and style of clothing but I WANT AND DEPENDED UPON WHAT IS PROMISED TO ME. AFTER ALL THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN REMAIN IN BUSINESS IS PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO SUPPORTTED YOU

Unfortunately, due to manufacturing, sourcing and other parts of the business that we have outside partners, it is hard to control factors like non-delivery of merchandise, sub-quality merchandise received and other similar situations. If we receive merchandise that is not to our standards, we will not sell it to our customers. In other instances, a manufacturer may not deliver or may delay delivery of merchandise far too late for it to be sold. Again, please accept our apologies for your recent experience and hope that you continue to keep us in mind next time you need a beautiful garment.
After being on hold for over an hour the nasty rep tells me she can't help me because my order is multiple shipments and very confusing for her. She would have to have someone call me back but because they are so busy she doesn't know when. They double charged my bank account for items that shes telling me haven't even shipped yet. I will never order again!

Many flash sales are for specific colors of a product and only valid for a short period of time. If you are trying to purchase a color that is not part of the flash sale, or at a time where the flash sale time frame has passed, you will encounter issues. Please let us know if we can help further.
I ordered a shirt and a yellow sweater. Shirt was perfection but sweater not so much. Sent back sweater to be exchanged for a different yellow top at exactly the same price. Filled out paperwork as required. Never got the top. Later ordered jeans and Tencel blue pants. Jeans were great, pants (same size as jeans) too small. Called to exchange sizes and was told FINAL SALE meant no exchange even if only change is the size. How could that possibly matter? Unless the next size up was sold out, why compromise me in that way? How could it possibly be a loss to you? It is a loss to me, unless I manage to lose about six pounds.

I used to shop here all the time when they had a physical store. Since the stores closed, the service has been dreadful. I recently placed an order on April 4 for 2 items. I received an email several days later saying one of the items was not available as it was not in stock, but that the other item was in stock and was shipped. I received a FedEx tracking number. Now almost a month later, I find that the entire order was cancelled. And I only found that out when I called - no notification. Someone at that company is lying or incompetent - I'm guessing both. Never again.
I have purchased a number of items from Coldwater Creek and been very satisfied. However, recently I ordered a camisole. It did not look good on me so I returned it. Much to my shock I received a letter saying that it did not conform to their Return Policy because they won't take back items that "have been worn, washed, used or altered"! None of the above were done. I have never been so insulted in my life. The person who determined this must have been in a foul mood. They were so wrong I will never order via mail another garment from them!
I used to love Coldwater Creek. No more, tried to email customer service, pretty impossible. Cannot shop anywhere now ( virus) but can find wonderful things at Stein Mart. I am a petite and ahem mature. None of their T's have 3/4? Sleeves, do not love your upper arm unless Michelle Obama. They are overpriced and then pay for shipping to boot. Bye Bye Coldwater Creek get attuned to customers!
I was a customer of Coldwater Creek for many years before they closed up most of their shops. I have ordered online quite a few times as well. My recent order arrived with size M blouses that were HUGE! After complaining that I have to pay to return them, I got no sympathy. I mistakenly used their Smart Post label the send the the blouses back. After 2 weeks, their agent, Newgistics has not delivered the return. When I called CC again about it, they told me that I have to allow 2-3 weeks for my refund. I said that was outrageous, take my name off your lists. I will not order from them again. They never once addressed my complaints, just agreed to remove my name from their mailing lists. So be it. Horrible was to deal with their customers.

I have bought from Coldwater Creek for years and have seen the prices go up and the customer service go down. It is also hard to find the quality items they used to have. Cold water Creek needs to clean house and get new buyers and help with postage. I guarantee your company will keep losing customers until you change some things. Too many companies are helping with some kind of returns and they are keeping up with the trends. You have the tired old items for the past 2 1/2 years or so. Your customers service reps leave a lot to be desired. They have no personality or helpfulness. This girl will be looking else where for clothing and accessories.

Customer for 25 years. The last few years the customer service is the worse. They bill you the day you order it even if it is out of stock BUT they don't tell you it's out of stock at the time. So you wait a few weeks and call to ask where is the tracking number for my order and she says oh it out of stock for a month. I said can you cancel it and the rep says no the minute you hit the buy button (and get charged) you cannot cancel it's out of their hands. It's in the process. So I finally get it 2 months later and send it back with their return label. I turn it into the post office and they tell me they turn these packages over to a second party shipping company who never sent it to coldwater creek. So much for a tracking number! So after several calls I got my money back. I am 100% done with them. Too bad because their ponte pants were the best.
Ordered two blouses which looked beautiful in the catalog. Received them in a timely manner. They looked okay but the quality of the fabric was a cheap velour. I decided to return them. It is ridiculous to have to pay $6.95 In return shipping. I returned them before a payment was due on my Coldwater Creek credit card. I was charged a late fee. Any reputable credit card company would see the returns as a payment because it removed that amount off the credit card. I called them to close the account and remove the late fee. They closed the account and then tile me because the account was closed they couldn't remove the late fee. What? Of course they could. They choose not to. After going back and forth with a supposed supervisor in customer service I agree to pay the remaining balance. I explained I would come after the due date because of the day I receive my pension. They agreed to not give me a late fee on the following bill since they could see I had already set up the payment. Get the bill today and there's a late fee. What a bunch of liars and thieves.

The catalog shows what appears to be high quality merchandise, along with very high prices. It took me several orders to realize that the quality did not warrant the high prices (even when the item I liked was on sale). The sweaters are very thin and loose shape quickly. I'm removing my name from the catalog list. Very disappointed.

We are sorry for your disappointment. Many of our thinner sweaters are for warmer weather use. Here are some tips to ensure your sweater keeps its shape! To keep sweaters from losing their shape, store them folded rather than hanging them up. When you wash them, wash on gentle cycle or hand wash them. Do not wring them to dry, rather place the wet sweater on a towel and roll the towel up to squeeze out excess moisture. Lay flat to dry.
It is always a letdown when a customer is upset with us. Please know, your satisfaction matters.

Answer: Hiya Jane, Give their customer service a call, the number should be in your confirmation email (don't try to find it on their website). Customer service will then send you 2 emails, one is a shipping label. Do include your orginal shipping insert (take a pic of it) with the return items highlighted along with the Return Form filled out with the SKU/Style of each item you are returning. Best of luck
