I used the vault feature for added security and it requires two email approvals prior to withdrawing it from the vault. The primary email account worked just fine; however, the secondary email verification loops you back to the coinbase site without executing the approval. I cancelled and attempted it again and it still did not work. So I have a large amount of crypto that I cannot get access too. Totally inept customer service; STAY AWAY FROM THIS EXCHANGE!

Coinbase has no measures in place to protect it's users. I was scammed through my coinbase account and the customer support essentially said"to bad, so sad". I've requested to speak with a manager or at least a customer service rep various times, but they refuse to do phone calls. It's all done via email. They take way too long too response, when they do respond they don't provide any clarity, and they don't care to protect their users. I wish I could give them a negative rating. Please do not invest with Coinbase, it appears to be a HUGE scam company.

Coinbase has a link for consumers to share, and if you purchase over 100.00 you and the person you shared with are supposed to get 10.00 free btc. I have sent the link to four people and I have only received the free btc once. I emailed Coinbase and the reply was they don't have any control over that and they can't fix the problem. That is false advertisements. I have dealt with other companies like Stash that offer the similar incentives and they always stand behind their advertisements. You can never talk to anyone. The customer service is in dire need for an overhaul.

Wanted to experiment with Bitcoin a few years ago--so I bought several hundred dollars of B through coinbase. Just to see what the process was. Now I keep getting messages to verify my account or they will disable access. So now, I have to log in every three months or so. Then I received a message that said "If you do not verify your identity and have any funds remaining in your Coinbase account, please withdraw them immediately to avoid forfeiture to your country or state of residence." Sure, maybe there is a federal law that requires identity verification but they go about it the most invasive way. As someone who has had their identify stolen, not going to go through process. The catch: you can't withdraw your funds unless you upload a driver's license, etc. My advice: avoid Coinbase because it is just going to be a hassle.

I invested with this company and have entered into a perpetual circle without being able to get my funds back. They have many tricks to avoid you being able to access your email, reset your password and as a result not being able to request cancellation and refund your money. I am going to the FBI to get my money back I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This company needs to be prevented from doing business in the USA! A class action lawsuit needs to be started for all those investors that have been scammed and were not able to get their investment money back!

Was able to log on one time to make a minimum purchase, but two weeks on I cannot access my account so what good is a purchase of goods or services if you can't use what you paid for. Just keep getting bot e-mail reply's and no resolution, seems I'm not the only one having trouble trying to access an account with coinbase. This so called company is just ripping people off of their hard earned money. Stay clear of this scam site there are much better platforms to acquire cryto assets.

The customer service is one of the worst I came across.

Incompetent, inconsistent and repeatedly did the exact opposite of what had been requested!

Based on their replies it was easy to tell that they obviously didn't read the mail at all.

If I wouldn't know it better, I'd say the people working for coinbase support are getting high at work - at least that how it felt, dealing with such an amount of misunderstandings and incompetence...

And worst thing is, my exchange fees are probably paying those useless operators'.

After talking with multiple friends and family we realize that we all have the same cryptowallet address from coinbase! It started with coinbase denying my wife and I could have the same address unless our accounts are connected! I urge others to see if they have the same crypto wallet addresses as family and friends, so a class action lawsuit can be filed against coinbase! As well if you freeze your account with them it just locks you from your own portfolio not anyone else if they already have the wallet address and tag number. Coinbase will not replace the tag number until a transaction is made. So it's like freezing your credit card you get denied access but not the person in possession of your card!
