I needed a new pair of glasses and with my insurance not renewing until January there is no way I could afford to replace my glasses for a second time this past year so I figured I would try clearly.ca and I will going this route from now on. The process is easy to use and super affordable. I went with super cheap frames just to hold over for now but I actually love them! With small kids easily replaced glasses is a huge advantage.

We have been purchasing glasses for 10 years now and our last purchase has left rethinking buying from them again. After phoning and complaining about the coating they recommended was faulty, they returned money, but not the amount we paid. All we wanted was glasses replaced but they had no idea how to do that. After spending hours on the phone this is still not resolved. Still waiting for them resolve.

Experience was fine. I'm just a dissapointed how the screw/frame part on the right broke fairly easily after applying a bit of pressure on it. I don't have time to make a proper complaint and this was already a replacement frame from Clearly to begin with. I just used superglue to put it together for now, but I probably won't be purchasing their brand of frames from now on.
This is my first time needing/wearing prescription glasses. The whole process was super easy, from virtually trying on glasses to ordering etc. I will definitely be buying more glasses from Clearly and would recommend them to others.

I have ordered two pairs of glasses (regular and sunglasses) on October 2nd 2020 from Clearly on Robson St. An employee who was helping me said the order should be ready in 10-14 business days which is fine. However, turned out that she messed up my order and it has never been sent to the lab.
So after 3 weeks of my order I called them but was told that my order never went through (considering I was charged the full amount). They offered a $30 discount which is a joke. An operator on the phone said that my order will be processed immediately. When I called again a few days later to check on the order the store said that there was a mistake and it's never been sent.
I was told that a manager of the store will call me the next day. Nobody called me so I called them myself in the end of the day. The manager said that there's nothing they could do or give a further discount and that the only thing she could do is to email the lab to make an express order. It's been exactly 2 weeks ago. No express, no sufficient discount for over a month of wait, terrible service. Very disappointed. Will never order from Clearly again.
Delivery was fast and glasses are affordable! Will definitely order from clearly next time!

This was my first experience ordering glasses online and it was excellent from start to finish. Loved being able to try the glasses on virtually. The only difficulty was finding frames that were small enough for my face. I will definitely be a return customer.

I had a new and stronger prescription, so I knew it would take a bit before my Progressives felt good. It took three weeks, but from the start I could tell these glasses were made perfectly, as my vision wasn't blurred. This time Cleary really restored my confidence in their glasses, as I love wearing these! I can see even small text writing!
It was worth paying more for thinner lenses and the anti-smudge coating as well. Thank you!

Answer: Hi Dan - what you're seeing is the pre-authorization hold being taken and released so we can actually take the payment upon shipping out. On a regular credit card this is pretty invisible (a pending payment becomes an actual charge), but because the only way to apply a pre-authorized hold of funds on a credit-debit is to have the processor remove them from the bank balance and hold them between your account and Clearly's, it looks more like a charge, refund, charge. In either case, Clearly only receives the funds the one time once the order ships out!
Answer: Oh no! We're truly sorry to hear about this and apologize for the late reply. If the prescription is correct, one more piece of information you want to verify is the PD (Pupillary Distance), as it is not always showing on the prescription. If it is not, and the PD is showing 63mm (or 31.5/31.5) on our receipt, this means the PD by default may have been entered when placing the order. This measurement is important as it allows us to cut and place the lenses in the frame in order for your eyes to focus right at the middle of the lens, to ensure comfortable and perfect vision. If the PD was incorrect, or if you're experiencing eye strain despite a correct PD, please contact our customer service team at 1-866-414-2326, or via chat or email through our website with your order information. We'd love the chance for them to trouble-shoot the issue and help with any adjustment if necessary. - SH
