I ordered my eyeglasses last year with added C shield, which was supposed to keep my eyeglasses clean for a longer time and make it easier for me to clean them. But I can say it was waste of money since it is impossible to clean it. I kept cleaning them every 20 minutes or half an hour. I had to go out and buy another pair from a local optician's office.

I ordered two pair of glasses -- a pair of progressives for general use and a pair of sunglasses, without the progressive feature. The sunglasses were perfect, but the progressives came with one lens that was wildly off the prescription. The error could easily be seen with the naked eye. I contacted Clearly, and returned the glasses as requested. However, getting a replacement became a major ordeal. The customer service rep in Vancouver constantly delayed issuing a new pair because the optician had repeated questions. It became obvious that someone at the lab thought they had not made a mistake, but rather that I just wasn't adjusting to progressives. (In fact, I have worn progressives for 20+ years.) Finally, after an appeal for help on the Clearly Facebook page, a more senior customer service representative intervened, and authorized the delivery of a replacement pair. Thank you Samuel! Anyway, the glasses are fine now... but the experience was very frustrating. Someone at the lab failed to performed a standard quality check before the first pair were sent out. Too bad, Clearly. A for product. F for dealing with my issue in a timely fashion.

Ordering from Clearly was absolutely the easiest eyewear site I have ever ordered from. I tried the light weight lenses and transitions which I love. My glasses arrived within 10 days.
This was my first time buying prescription glasses online. Needless to say, I was nervous, but have to confess, the process to choose, try (virtually) and order was surprisingly smooth and easy. I was also slightly anxious about the quality of the frames and lenses, not having "touched" and "felt" them in a store.
When the glasses arrived, very fast, I may add, I was impressed with the quality from Clearly.ca and given the value for money, don't think I will go back to buying glasses the old way!

Glasses came in good time. However they are way too small for my face and I don't exactly have a large head. Nose piece is super tight and so are arms. Even after having them adjusted they are way too small. Wouldn't recommend these for anyone with an average size head or bigger :(

Answer: Hi Dan - what you're seeing is the pre-authorization hold being taken and released so we can actually take the payment upon shipping out. On a regular credit card this is pretty invisible (a pending payment becomes an actual charge), but because the only way to apply a pre-authorized hold of funds on a credit-debit is to have the processor remove them from the bank balance and hold them between your account and Clearly's, it looks more like a charge, refund, charge. In either case, Clearly only receives the funds the one time once the order ships out!
Answer: Oh no! We're truly sorry to hear about this and apologize for the late reply. If the prescription is correct, one more piece of information you want to verify is the PD (Pupillary Distance), as it is not always showing on the prescription. If it is not, and the PD is showing 63mm (or 31.5/31.5) on our receipt, this means the PD by default may have been entered when placing the order. This measurement is important as it allows us to cut and place the lenses in the frame in order for your eyes to focus right at the middle of the lens, to ensure comfortable and perfect vision. If the PD was incorrect, or if you're experiencing eye strain despite a correct PD, please contact our customer service team at 1-866-414-2326, or via chat or email through our website with your order information.
