Customers frequently report issues with inaccurate availability information, poor communication, and difficulties in resolving disputes. At first I could not understand what the app was for and thought it was a bit expensive for a health membership. But I finally decided to give it a try and opted for the free trial. The one week was so fun, it let me try almost all the fitness studios in my neighborhood. I am one who likes new adventures in my fitness journey. I instantly loved it. It's been 3 months and I am still loving the app and have tried almost 10+ studios. Each one was unique and exciting. We'll done, ClassPass

After trying multiple times to sign up the free trial period, I read the ClassPass reviews. I understand why they have a 1.34 score.
There system would not allow me to sign up even after many tries and several messages with their customer support. They have technical issues with their system that they will not admit and apparently cannot fix. With a1.34 score it seems many of their customers have issues.
With a score this low the company can not continue to stay in business.
I do. Not recommend.

CLASS PASS SUCKS A**
April 28, 2022

Oh my god, they did that to me too! Increased the price for 15 credits from $29 to $35 with same amount of credits. I cannot believe they also charged me $9 a month to pause my membership with no additional credits given. $9 to pause!? What!? Who charges to pause! This is so unethical. #classpasssucks

Very bad business ethic. Save yourself alot of time and headache and avoid using them and just book directly. They will charge you for miss class and when you try to provide proof or argue your case they will basically turn the other way and ignore you. Service may seem intuitive or good at first but they will try to nickle and dime you any chance they get. Forget about customer service also. They don't get paid enough to deal with your problems. Most will just be rude and ignore you. I canceled as soon as i could and even then they try to squeeze the last few pennies from me.

DO NOT USE CLASSPASS THEY ARE FRAUDS! They stored my account details from 3 years ago and just because I wanted to see what classes were available in 2021 (during covid). I tried to sign up but it said you already have an account - so I reset my password to login and the same day I deleted the app. Little did I know they have been charging me £65 per month knowing I never confirmed my bank details of CSV number or agreed to pay anything to them! When I contacted them, a supervisor only agreed to refund me half the amount they had fraudulently taken from me! They are literal FRAUDSTERS! DO NOT USE THEM! It's much cheaper to buy classes directly from the studio and most the studio's they offer are dirty dingy and not somewhere you would want to go! #cancelclasspass

I sent a response about my membership and got a response right away that was helpful - 5 stars for that!

But I just wanted to search through videos looking for those more focused for senior citizens. But their platform does NOT have a search. When I used the chat to ask about it, they were talking about not supporting apple in-app live classes and all other sorts of weird responses. They finally said, "Well, it looks like we don't offer search on our video page." Does that mean the chat support person was also surprised of search being missing?

Anyway, I have found a couple of videos by scrolling through and using filtering options that have been good. If you are a Kaiser Permanente member, you can sign up for the on-demand library for no cost.

Thank you

They do not reply to emails and do not have a phone number to speak with a real person. They do not offer refunds even if on accident.

After the pandemic closure they silently started charging $50 a month for my wife's subscription while she did not use it. No correspondence, no monthly bills, therefore it took some time until we realized the issue. When we complained they offered to refund half of the money but even with the refund we lost more than $200. They seem to be well covered legally for this situation, according to the fine print you are deemed to accept anything if you don't complain within a short period of time... Even if you are not not aware

Absolutely horrible
March 3, 2022

I do not think ClassPass actually keep track of what they are saying to their customers. I signed up for a trial session and was given 20 credits. However, they froze my account without informing me and different agents speak different tunes of what happened. And they claimed that I have multiple accounts when it is my first account? No proof from them to support their claim. Gosh, I am so frustrated talking to them. It is like generic replies from robots and they are just not addressing my issues! Even if they reinstate my free credits, I will never go back to them. Geesh, lousy system.

I have been trying to get a refund after cancelling my class pass. Not only do they make it nearly impossible, the customer service is extremely rude. I am still fighting to get my money refunded. There is also no customer service number. Shame on them!

When I was on vacation in Florida, I saw an offer for one of their free services, went to one of their facilities & received their free offer and I signed up for info. Two months later I received a $49.00 monthly charge. I do not live in Florida, I live in Blairsville, Georgia. Classpass does not have any facilities within 60mi of me. Also, there is no way to contact them or their credit card processor (SPRINT). I consider this unethical scam a complete fraud. Watch out for Classpass.

This afternoon I had to cancel a Classpass reservation because I woke up with a massive migraine, nausea, and vomiting. They charged me a $15 late cancellation fee - which would be fine but they are inconsistent with their policy. I can provide proof of other customers receiving numerous more "exceptions" but they do not have any consistency in their policy. I looked into their accessibility statements but the page does not even work - https://classpass.com/terms/usa. This is illegal and against the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Then, I canceled my membership due to this mistreatment and I had only 2 days remaining to use up "16 credits," because they said they would void it after the membership period ended despite these circumstances. Thus, once I felt better I made a booking for 7PM on Thursday to use up my 16 credits. Then, Classpass canceled 5 minutes before the start of the booking. I was already there, had paid for parking (receipt attached), and had driven 20 minutes to and from the booking for no reason. Now, I have no time to use my membership credits and the customer service agents said they could not do anything about it. Now, I have wasted about $38 because my membership cannot even offer the service that it promised, which is why I am filing this dispute.

My daughter convinced me to let her sign her up for ClassPass. BIG mistake. They began charging me $79 per month. Turns out, she wasn't using it, so after awhile, she cancelled it. But I still kept getting billed. I asked her to show me proof of cancellation. She took a screenshot of her membership page, and it indeed said 'cancelled' in red letters. So I did a chat with them (they have no phone number to call them). Explained the situation. They told me... sorry. We can't help you. Only your daughter can do this. Well she DID, that's WHY I have a screen shot of the cancellation! They asked for all of the information (hers & mine). They essentially told me... too bad... we can't help you. Claimed they couldn't find the account. So... I decided to call my credit card company and report the fraud. They are sending them a fraud notice, and have stopped the $79 pending payment for this month. Absolutely horrible. Turns out there is actually a Class Action Lawsuit against ClassPass currently. This is pertaining to all of the small studios who never contracted with ClassPass, but ClassPass said that they offered classes. Nope. Those little studios never got a dime.

I can't fully detail what a nightmare it has been to try to have them cancel my account. There is no one you can call. If I posted our email exchange here you'd be even more outraged. I don't think it's even a real person. I am still paying for this service after now almost 4 months of actively fighting with them. Also, I was never able to use it because there are no gyms anywhere near places I live or travel, which is many major cities. They might have them listed on the app but when you actually go in to find decent gyms or classes, there's nothing good. I used this years ago and liked it. Now it is a scam.

Not good
January 10, 2022

I had $79 plan with them for a while, and randomly used.
I had to many over left points, so I booked a manicure and a pedicure at Marina Beauty & Nails Salon.
Salon censed my appointment, without proper notification. But they took me when I arrived, and after job was done they asked for $82, saying they never got money from Class Pass. Between them and Class Pass totally cheating. But class pass didn't offer anything, and they've done nothing about that.

I had now already two bad experiences with Classpass where I had the feeling they unfairly take credits away you already paid for. First time was as with corona there was no option to use credits i accumulated a lot of them and then wanted to switch to a lower subscription so i could use the credits i accumulated but they did not inform that the credits will be taken away from you you accumulated (which doesnt make sense to me as i had paid for them).

Now there was the problem with deduction of my subscription payment and I did not receive any reminder or instructions to transfer the money manually. A week later after the deduction failed i get a message saying that my membership has been cancelled and all credits were taken away. I contacted customer service telling me i cant get my previous credits back (the ones i accumulated from the previous months not using them)

Horrible company
November 23, 2021

Beyond frustrated and grossed out by classpass. I have an immunocompromised son so I cannot take group classes right now and there is nothing outdoor/safe in my area. Had been told I could keep my account on pause as long as I renewed the pause every month, but apparently they decided it was now ok to screw people, and after numerous insanely frustrating conversations, I had to choose between paying every month in order to keep the credits i ALREADY BOUGHT, or I cancelling and losing everything I'd already paid for. TOTAL SCAM. Would never recommend to anyone!
