Worst customer service

My card got lost and there were unauthorized purchases made, I canceled my card disputed those transactions and they didn't want to return my money, it was on my credit card. They just denied it, I'm very disappointed because I've been with them for a while and having to go through this and for them to not return my money back is horrible.

Worst Bank Ever

I processed a mobile deposit of 2647.24 and was told it would be available in 1-3 business days. After the deposit was accepted they informed me that it would be 7 days, which is not what agreed to. I even received an email stating 1-2 business days. Talk about buyer beware. Poor customer service and questionable practices of holding money. Please see email stating 1-2 business days and then the chats showing multiple transfers. They didn't know what they were doing

Thieves and Liars

I have been a customer with Chime for over 7 years. Recently I had to deposit a payroll check using the mobile deposit option. They placed a 7 day hold on my check causing me to accrue several late fees on bills that I had to pay. There were previous direct deposits from the same company. I called everyday and could not get the funds released or the deposit cancelled. Absolutely ridiculous to hold a persons money for 7 days with no warning. If I would have known, I would have never deposited the check. Stay away!

They offer NO consumer protection from fraud and force their employees to make statements they KNOW not to be true.

Scam

Do not use this janky $#*! so called bank they are thieves with trash $#*! customer service. No customer service at all. If you get scammed they will not return your money. Everytime I use that chime card it is always an inconvenience all they has is I'm so sorry ma'am I understand how you feel. They do not give a damn about the customer. Sorry is exactly right.

Unsatisifed Service

I have Chime/Direct Deposit for years now. New members with DD get the 200 spot me. I have called a few times and am told the System does it. This is poor service to those who have been customers for years. Ive seen my son with no credit get DD and the 200 instantly. Me. Nothing. I will be canceling my Chime account.

For 2 days I have told them it is looping me back to password reset password sent. IT WILL NOT WORK! IT IS A LOOP THAT WILL NOT END. I NEED A TEMPORARY PASSWORD. Horrible bank.

Chime SUCKS

I just got hacked last week chime said they will do a whole 90 day investigation i get a letter yesterday stating i will not be getting my money refunded back to me AFTER GIVING PROOF THAT I DIDNT MAKE ANY PURCHASES DO NOT TRUST THIS BANK YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING

After my check out deposit in Chimr and I was saying I got locked out and I still have a password it's been over seven days and getting them to give you a straight answer is next to impossible. I hate them I would never put any more money in this account ever

Takes to long for direct deposit and if it's first deposit they instantly give you less than half and you have to wait for about 10 days for the full amount especially if it's a paper check or you just opened the account that does not help people that a low income and that is what this bank is supposed to be for!

If you want time don't have someone else's name on your check they will keep rejecting it because the $#*!s cause of them ejecting my check not once but twice I I can't pay my rent now I'm going to be on the street cuz the second time they rejected it now I'm pussed

Chime closed my card

Chime stole what I had left to live on I am on Social security I only have $299 left they are keeping in and and nog going to give it back as far as I am Chime is a Scam no I can't buy no food on house hold items cat food or litter until next month so we won't be eating until next month I am 76 going to Call BBB

False advertising

Chime is the worst and their customer support is horrid. I have been a long time customer with Chime. I only had one incident where I reported a fraudulent transactions and was told the distance from the restaurant to my home is in close proximity, Chime denied my claim. Even though I had proof it wasn't me. This happened 3yrs ago. Fast forward to what brought me here. Chime motto"Banking made easy" is false advertising. Talking to Chime customer support is like talking to a brick wall. My employer sent my payroll check to chime for direct deposit 3 days before payday. On payday the money isn't in my chime account. I went through the app to speak with someone. This was a major headache and causing me so much Anxiety. I talked through Chime chat and spoken on the phone with several agents only to get the run around. I was told by several Chime reps that they can't see my direct deposit until it's posted. I then asked so where's my money and was told it's in processing. I then asked what stage in the process is my direct deposit? I was told by multiple Chime agents that they couldn't see the process only when it's posted. Again what is customer service for if they can't answer simple questions. Chime also said they release your money as soon as it's deposited. This is a lie and false advertising. Your direct deposit goes through a third party process before it's posted into your account. Chime holds your money and release it when they want to. I was also told I have to wait 2 pay cycles (a month) to get my money. Even though I have been with Chime for over 7 years. I will be closing this account. Please beware don't use chime its a rip off and they don't offer immediate release of your funds=false advertising.

I am a current banker with Chime and I have been locked out of my account for over a month. When I call customer service they hang up on me after I've sent my Identification card and am being denied by their app can't even update my direct deposit, check and manage my account and my check is currently still being deposited into that account $#*! sucks. This is all I get when I contact them for the last month and when I asked for the number to corporate I got hung up on!

Bad practices
September 1, 2023

I've been with chime for years, but last night, a scammer got ahold of my chime card numbers and charged 661.96 worth of apple products to my account. I caught it 7 minutes after the transaction, called chime, because the transaction is still pending, they won't help me at all. DO NOT GET CHIME!

My check deposit should be 28th. It's always a guessing game between 28th through 31st. If the PO wasn't do screwed up, I would go to postal checks. At least it was timely!

Been with chime for 2 years an for some unknown reason every 6 th paycheck they (bank corp) like to hold my payroll. And tell me it could show up any day between Tues-Thurs, they have no control over direct deposit. How am I suppose to get to work chime?

I talked with a representative for customer service his name was Jerry he was super great very friendly and highly professional im glad chime has someone like him to answer any questions presented to him he deserves a promotion!
