Buyer beware

They cancel your order without your knowledge and can't even offer up why. If that's not bad enough they take up to 14 days to refund you your money.

I placed an order for 19 items for school shopping for my grandkids. 14 items, never left their warehouse and saying orders are lost and I need to wait and see if they will reship in 10 days! They admit they are lost and I still have to wait and see it they can reship them! Unbelievable. They have labels printed that they were ready for shipment, but they never left their facility. Worse shipping issues I have ever had. This is on 2 separate orders.

I give them no stars … Customer service sucks all the reps suck the business just sucks all together… They sale you what they want you to have and not what you ordered. I purchased my sons school uniform shirts from here which is a size 14 Xl… Mind you he's a 15 yr old sophomore and they send me size xtra small that my 4 yr old can fit. Then tells me they won't send I return shipping label… I'll never shop here again in my life because they are false advertising and needs to be stopped…

Stay clear

I order a a heavy amount of stuff, missing some items and and sent the wrong size. I called customer service they hung on my face and emailed customer service so many times it for to the point where they don't accept my email I never shopping here again

Flag orders

They will flag orders and cancel orders that are legit. And when you call the customer service line they are not helpful besides telling you its no exact reason why your order is canceled their system just will flag the orders if they are suspected fraud. Lol wow. But before I was placing orders no problem now all of a sudden when I enter the tcp lawsuit all of my orders get canceled.

I would give them 0 if I could. Placed an order and it said apply for a credit card and you will automatically receive 30% off at checkout. Applied it said congratulations you were approved your discount will automatically be applied at checkout.
Showed me what my new balance would be but when I checked out the 30% was not taken off. I emailed them immediately because their customer service center is closed on weekends. Gave them 5 days to respond... no answer. Called and they refuse to credit me back the difference. Told me they will give me a coupon for next time. There won't be a next time. I sent everything to my son directly because they live 2 hours away. Bought everything my grandson needs now because I was supposed to get 30% off. This is false advertising, they do not stand by their own advertisement. They told me to go return everything and repurchase it. I will return everything and never purchase anything from them again. Buyer beware!

I went through their online site. I purchased a few pants one didn't fit right they said I could return them by shipping them back. I had to pay shipping which cost the same price to buy them. They did not pay me back. So out $12.99 and no pants. Definitely don't buy through them a very dishonest company. Yes I wrote them they said someone would reach out and no one has. Been 4 months. NOT IMPRESSED...

My package never arrived. When I track it it's been in NJ for over 5 days. Contacted costumer service and was told "the carrier may be waiting for more packages before they leave the warehouse." Was also told to wait 10 more business days and then call back. I said your policy states I get a complete refund or items reshipped if not delivered by the date guaranteed and was told they are certain the tracking will update by May 13th.

This is the worst experience I ever had ordering online …. COMPLETELY INACCURATE shipping arrival date I ordered 2 items and the shipping said arrival April 15th it never said this was only for rush shipping … all shipping dates said April 15th for free and rush ect… Come to find out the store I choose to get my cloths from don't have it in stock they didn't even notify me … company took it upon themselves to order from Illinois and have it sent on the 21st. If it's not in stock ur supposed to cancel the order not send it from a entirely different place out of state without notifying the customer! Worst experience ever

Waaaay too many emails

I really wish they would spend less time putting out so many emails and concentrate on their website. It's difficult to navigate and sometimes it's impossible to put things in your cart. Customer service is nonexistent so good luck! Sometimes you get multiple emails a day! Once a month is adequate, once a week is pushing it and every single day is irritating. We won't even discuss three a day!
I unsubscribed and have their emails going to junk.
I will say they ship quickly and everything was in good shape so if it's on sale, they have some good deals if only they would please stop bombarding customers with emails and work on their difficult to navigate website.

Very disappointed

I have shopped with children's place for years. I have four children and four grandchildren and have shopped in their store as well as online. I've never had an issue with their clothes. They are relatively inexpensive and hold up. I ordered my grandson some clothes for Christmas that never arrived. I went online and followed the proper steps to let them know. It said it would be reviewed. I called a couple weeks later and they told me that since UPS is showing it delivered there is nothing they can do. They would not make it right by resending the items or refunding my money. I have never seen a company do business this way to their clients. They advise me to call UPS to which UPS said they used USPS. Then the tracking number did not match USPS. Another words no one wanted to help me. The customer representative at children's place advised me to file a claim with my bank. I have done this and it is in process. I should not have had to do this. They do not make it right if you order from them and do not receive it. This will be the last time I shop with them. This is what I get for years of doing business with them.

I purchased an item online using a coupon code and a $10 rewards certificate. Unfortunately, the the size was wrong and had to reorder the correct size. They are exactly the same item and price so it was an even exchange. When I called customer service to the price adjustment, they said that they can't do a price adjustment or reissue the rewards certificate. They rewards program is the worst that I've ever encountered. I would give a zero rating if possible, never order from them again or recommend their store to others.

Children's Place. AVOID!
December 17, 2021

Bought pj's a size larger than usual for three grandchildren. Washed them in cold water and they SHRUNK way beyond use. Took them to the store and they would not take them back. Said call customer service (a complete misnomer!). They said go to another store!
I am out $56 and no new Christmas pjs for the kiddos. Will not buy from this store again!

Don't count on a delivery

I ordered family pajamas on November 27. Info I received said it was shipped December 1. When I called on December 17 because I hadn't received my order, I was told it must have been lost in shipping. The only problem with that is that there was never any shipping information. Of course, when I tried to reorder, they didn't have the product in stock. I will NEVER use this company again.

No merchandise

I would like to say until now I was really found of Children Place but I order some things on 12/3/21 for Christmas and I have yet to received my package. Instead of going through a reparable delivery company like usps or ups, they choice to go through Lasership which never delivered my package, Lasership said they hand delivered to a person. Which was not even a possibility, because no one was home and we have no neighbors close enough to receive a package on or behalf. So after talking and fighting with both companies, I was told by both companies that it was the other company fault. Children Place told me I could not get a refund, because it showed that it was delivered. Even after showing proof to both companies there was no way it was hand delivered. I was told that I would not receive a refund or have my order resent. I would also like to state until this order I have never had a problem with my orders when sent through usps or ups. Very unhappy customer.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE CHILDREN'S PLACE - YOU HAVE A CHANCE OF BEING CHEATED! We placed an online order with THE Children's Place and their delivery company shipped it to the wrong address. When we called The Children's Place customer service department, a supervisor told us there is nothing they can or will do other than to give us the delivery company information and we would need to try and retrieve our purchase. They would not reship the order or give us a credit. Their official policy is that the customer has to contact the delivery company and try to get their merchandise back. So someone else received our products and The Children's Place won't do anything to correct the problem. This is the worst business policy we have ever heard. They screw their customers and then tell the customer it is their responsibility to solve the problem. They should change the name of their department to Customer Dis-service because that's what they deliver. If you need to buy any type of children's clothing, don't shop at The Children's Place because if they deliver your products to the wrong address, it is your tough luck.
