I made an online purchase for two toddler shirts. I received a notification via email when my order got delivered, and upon checking it, there was only 1 shirt in the package. Although it said both shirts were delivered, they did not package one of them. I needed the shirts for an occasion I am attending out of town, and unfortunately they do not sell this particular shirt in stores. Although they issued a refund for the missing shirt, it was such an inconvenience. I am now on the search to find something similar for my son before our flight leaves. I don't trust ordering anything else from The Children's Place online.
I never had an issue with Children's Place until I ordered at the end of March 2021. I have always gotten my orders in a timely matter, but this order just seems to have disappeared who knows where. Did something recently change with this company because it's disturbing how many people this has seem to have happened to. I won't order from them anymore. I thought this use to be a legit trusted company, but not if they can't make sure people get the items they ordered and paid for.
I order most of my children's items from the app and have them delivered. I've ran into NUMEROUS problems with this, and I understand shipping delays, or anything else. But where my problem comes in is the customer service! Their call center customer service people are HORRIBLE! I've had to call multiple times for different issues and they have NEVER NEVER been able to help me! My most recent order, I'm moving soon so I had my order shipped to my best friends house. I put the wrong numbers for her address so once I realized, I called them immediately (not even 20 minutes after I placed the order), and there was nothing the rep could do to help me just simply change the address. I chose free shipping which is 10 business days so you KNOW absolutely nothing had been packed or shipped within 20 minutes of me placing my order. The rep said he could cancel my order but obviously that's very inconvenient because I'd have to go back through and pick out every specific thing I had ordered already, super inconvenient considering I had a large order. Or my other option was to contact the delivery service so I waited for the tracking number for one of my packages. Oh another thing is they're shipping out my order in very small shipments, they shipped me ONE shirt out of my hefty order, why they wouldn't just hold the items until the entire order is ready to ship is beyond me. But the delivery service (UPS) said that they'll be delivering it to the post office so the order is being touched by absolutely too many hands for me, being a single working mother, to keep up with and keep track of, especially with children's place shipping them out piece by piece... the ONLY reason I still shop from them (and it's been a while since I've ordered anything actually), is because I have the credit card that I want to keep active to show usage for my CREDIT! That's the ONLYYYYYY reason I still shop from their store! Otherwise, their customer service and lack of ability to help a very long term customer is RIDICULOUS! I've spent thousands on clothes at children's place and they absolutely are never able to resolve my issue. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND to anyone at all.
I choose to place my payments in the mail for The Children's Place and do it long before their due dates. I then receive not one, but two late fee bills in the mail (One in January, now one in April) I called in January to dispute, right away the late fee was dropped. Today, it was the total opposite.
Turns out, my payment was received 1 day late thanks to the postal service. Looking more into things, the reason for the lateness could be because the due date for my payment was on a Sunday when the postal office is closed. My payment was "supposedly" received that Monday (what a coincidence!). Immediately my account gets pinged and a late fee was applied. I feel that this is absolutely ridiculous not taking into consideration the pandemic and the lateness with USPS! You would think that the company would understand but NOPE! The representative Danielle who I spoke to and supervisor Robin were rude and offered NO help. Per the supervisor, a customer cannot have a late fee erased from their account more than once. This is beyond outrageous because if you look the date on my check and the date that the envelope was stamped by the postal service, you will clearly see it is not my fault for its lateness in arrival. I am outraged, furious, and frustrated that I was offered no help in reconciling this late fee to where this company has lost itself a customer!
I've always loved Children's Place. I've been shopping there since before my oldest was born, who is now 12. I have four other children who I've always dressed in CP clothing (especially because I love their sales, and the rewards they send in the mail for being a frequent shopper). However, one of the things I love about Children's Place is visiting the store and skimming through sales racks, especially trying to stay on a budget while dressing triplets. I recently purchased several uniform items for my daughter in several different sizes, planning to return the ones that didn't fit. Today I drove into town to make the return and pay my Place card off, only to find they've shuts their doors. Now I have to PAY to return them, when I've always known that if I ordered different sizes, I had the convenience of driving into town to make a return. Having the inability to try things on, shop sales racks, and return online purchases without paying to do so has forever changed my desire to shop at CP. I've made my last CP purchase after 12 years of being a faithful customer.
I placed a order on the 22 and payed the extra $20 for shipping said would receive by 24th still nothing never again. Called customer service and they said they have 3 business days to ship then why have the website give a date.

I moved and changed my address on the account profile and in my address book. They shipped my children's winter clothing to the wrong address. When I realized what happened and called the company they basically told me to go to hell. After roughly 2 hours on the phone I was given the options of calling the post office or my bank. I called the bank and they initially gave me my money back only to take it back 2 months later because The Children's Place showed them the invoice that had the wrong address on it. So, I am now in a battle to get this money back because, "I don't have sufficient evidence that they did something wrong."
I placed an order and after a month of not receiving it I started calling and emailing customer service. I was ignored every time. They will not answer their phone and do not respond to email. Since I paid thru PayPal I filed a dispute with them and they returned my money after children's place ignored them too. Children's place turned around and recharged my credit card I must have used at one time. Is that even legal? Certainly not ethical. Hope the $17 was worth it because I will never buy something from you sorry store again.
If I can give zero star I will have to. Never use this site, I am so stress with this bull$#*! site. I use to love children's place before my on the go store for my kids stuffs but now Nah! Never. Customer service are rude. They did not refund me for the purchases that I never receive.
Ordered a Christmas gift for a baby boy and told it was shipped Dec 3rd. I have yet to receive it (now Dec 19th). Now I will probably have to buy another gift if this doesn't come within the next day or two. Don't offer free shipping if you don't use a reliable courier. My advice to customers is don't select free shipping if you need the purchase by a certain time to avoid disappointment. Just pay the extra cost... but now that I think about it, if it's going to be the same slowness for shipping, shop somewhere else.
Have been calling customer service for the past three days. Call disconnects after saying to try my call again later due to high call volume. I have been waiting for an order for 21 days. Status on site just says "ready to go." So frustrating. They will be losing a ton of business from loyal Children's Place customers if they do not get their shipping and customer service issues resolved!
I recently purchase a sweater for my grand daughter and was very pleased at first, but aDyer two or three wears and it had the seam come apart at the neckline and a hole appear at the neck tag. It hadn't even been washed because it's navy blue. Not impressed but here again made in China!

I've never had a problem with Children's Place until recently. I placed an order on October 1,2020 and my total was $103 they shipped three items from the total of 15 items that I purchased. They took $38 out of my account for the the three items that were shipped, but those 3 items didn't even total to $38 it totaled $15 it even said on the return sticker that the total was $15, so I let it slide thinking maybe they'll be sending a couple of more items. They DID NOT, so I get a notification yesterday saying that my other items have shipped and they gave me an online receipt, but the calculations were all wrong everything that I bought was on sale. I don't know if they ended up charging me full price for these items or what, but they charged $61 then another $65 so my total went from $103 to $126 plus the additional $23 they took from the 3 items I received. So basically they scammed me out of $46. Then when I tried to call to settle this problem they're ALWAYS CLOSED, I have no way of contacting them, I can't even find an email address for them. If you plan on shopping here DON'T they have false advertisement. I'm never shopping here again
I have been using them for years with no issue, until recently I went to place an order and my total JUMPED up by $25 and every price changed as soon as I hit checkout, immediately called and they said they cancelled It, reversed charges and then days later recharged me and said there was nothing they could do when I called to confront them again. Now my package is apparently coming, even though the tracking number provided doesn't lead anywhere and the only thing I can do is return the items if they ever arrive. Absolutely awful customer service and I will never be using their company again. I never ever write negative reviews but am so disgusted by how this company runs its business.
The worst kids store, low quality clothe and terrible service in the stores, the staff is always so rude and in bad mode, they are lazy and they don't want to do their job, I had terrible experiences buying in these stores, I'm not buying in their stores no more.
Ordered a bunch of clothes for our children 5. 28. 20 and for some reason they were shipped in multiple packages! Even though ordered the same time!
1)packages arrived late! Super late! Weeks! And the last package never received! Received email that it was returned back to CP?! Called them and they said USPS has it. Although, they did say sorry and they were gona refund us. I called USPS and they said they don't have it, so they told me to file a claim since it's been longer than 15 days since shipped. Now it's the waiting game and see if the package shows up or not. Super disappointing experience.
There's no comparison between their quality and Carter's. Due to quarantine, I had to order onesies and pj's online. Thankfully, Children's Place site was active, however after washing the clothing I got from there just once, the colors on ALL items faded, were stretched out, and just terrible quality. I couldn't believe it. Waste of $
