Their Services WOW me

I've been ordering my dog food through the company for the past 2 years. Never had any issues with them, they have the fastest delivery for anything you order.
I recently lost my pet frown =( but I had ordered brand new food, treats, and some flea medicine for her 2 weeks before she pass. I called the day after to let them know I would like to send back the flea medicine and cancel my auto shipment since my dog passed away. Right away, the representative told me to hold on a second and after she got back on the line, she sent her condolences and told me that she will refund everything. Not only that, she also said don't worry about the return, but instead just donate everything to the closest animal shelter (The food, treats, and flea medicine).
They really care about animals, you never hear any places ask you to donate like that. This business not only care about your pets, but they also care about the owners, the next day morning I went to work and I received a flower from this company and a note. On the note it said "We're so sorry to hear about the loss of your little one. We're all thinking of you in this tough time, and our hearts go out to you. If you need anything we're always here for you. Love-Chewy"
If I ever have any pet again I will definitely order from them again and I will recommend them to friends and family. They offer many options for pet food and any many other things.

Chewy.com is perfect! Seriously. I kept trying to run around various stores since Amazon wouldn't let me buy the kitty litter, treats, and prescription food in their subscribe and save program. Heck, prescription diet wasn't even an option. Trying to run around and do that for 4 cats is crazy. Chewy.com now delivers everything all 4 cats need every month. And if any particular cat decides to be a piggy, they'll deliver early and within a couple of days via FedEx. Perfect. Absolutely perfect.

Good pet supplies online

I bought Greenie Pill pockets in salmon flavor from them. I was having a hard time getting them until Petco stocked them locally. Chewy has good products, service, and reasonable prices.

First off they have great prices and super fast shipping! The reason I am so impressed by chewy.com though is... I ordered the wrong item and when I contacted them to make an exchange they issued a refund immediately and then instead of making me ship it back (which I was willing to pay for since it was my mistake) they asked me to simply donate it to a local animal shelter or rescue! How awesome is that? A shining example of good customer service in a world where it seems many places seem to have forgotten what that means.

Chewy was one of the few sites with this vet's special formulation. I have been using them for every other month orders for about a year. I get the Dr. Tim profuct that was specially formulated for sled dogs. The site is reliable in delivery and notifies me well in advance in case I want to make changes to my order. It then again notifies me right before shipping. Once I thought they forgot an item but it came in a separate box. I believe I also get a nice discount for a standing order. Highly recommend Dr. Tim's formulation and glad Chewy keeps this relationship w Dr. Tim going.

Great Company!

This company goes above and beyond customer expectations. If something is improperly sent it damaged they do not ask you to send it back but to donate to a local animal shelter and then they rush out a new order. They are courteous and an absolute pleasure to do business with. Their prices are competitive. They carry excellent brands like The Honest Kitchen and Fresh! Their auto ship policy is easy and they make it easy to modify if that's what you want. Their animal toys and other no food items are much cheaper than if purchased in a typical pet store.

Such a Shame

My order was selected for review (at random, I assume) and held/stopped until I called them to provide "more information." Some sort of ridiculous faux "security" scheme so they could pretend to be serious about fraud. I had ordered on a Thursday, hoping for delivery
The next day; I had forgotten to order earlier in the week and had fingers crossed that my order would reach me before I ran out of cat food. Instead, my order was held for no reason and I was sent an e-mail that I'd have to call customer service before they would release it. Now, keep in mind that I have spent thousands of dollars over the years shopping at Chewy. I ordered from a password-protected account. I used a credit card and shipping address that I'd used a hundred times before. I ordered low-value items which were nothing out of the ordinary. Yet I had to find the time to call them and "prove" who I was. Instead, I cancelled the order and will no longer be spending ONE PENNY at Chewy. I
Don't know what kind of stunt this was, but it cost them a loyal customer (I will NEVER be back--nor will I shop at their pathetic parent company, Petsmart). Clearly, I wasn't going to receive anything from them before I ran out of cat food, so I had the joy of spending a 12-degree December day in Chicago on public transportation (I have no car) and on foot to bring home a couple of cases of Fancy Feast. Good job, Chewy, on that "fast and convenient" angle. The good news is that I found what I wanted at Petco at lower prices than Chewy charges!

I've never dealt with a worse internet supply company! Stay away! They sent me a 25% off up to 20.00$ for a first time buyer. I put the order together, got my discount, and then - because all orders over $49 get free shipping, hit the free shipping button when I submitted the order. Lo and behold they erased the 25% discount, and put in the free shipping which was way less. I immediately emailed customer service within minutes, told them not to shop until we resolved it. No response, but they shipped the order next day anyway. I wrote back to CS multiple times in the next 48 hrs but they refused to do anything. I'd practically begged them to just honor the original offer but they could care less. She said they aren't a sham and that petsmart just bought them. Not sure I believe them. Doesn't say anything good about either company. Wish I'd checked out these reviews first! I've got egg on my face. They are crooks.

This morning I opened up the box of dog food that was delivered and it was the wrong type of food. Because my pup is diabetic, I immediately called to ask them to send me the correct food and when I asked how to do the return, the lady on the food told me to donate it to a local animal shelter. I was so amazed at that response. The company wasn't concerned about the financial loss, but instead the well being of some pups that may be in need. I will be dropping the food off to the shelter and my pup will have the correct food in a day or two. No questions asked :)

Love this company

I have been ordering dog food and pet supplies from this company for about a year. Their products are fairly priced, and they have always delivered on time. I had a problem once with the size of a dog bed I ordered. They took care of it immediately. The staff is courteous and helpful. Very satisfied.

EXPIRED PET FOOD!

I've been an extremely loyal customer of PetFoodDirect for over 4 years, but earlier this year I noticed that I noticed that pet food that I had purchased was expired. So I placed another order and once again, I was sent expired pet food. DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR FOOD AT THIS SITE! As i'm reading the reviews, I'm realizing that the reason they have these "great" sale prices is that they are getting rid of the old, near-expiration inventory other stores won't sell! I try to feed my little yorkie the best food and instead I've been feeding her the worst. SHAME ON YOU, PFD!

I ordered cat food from Pet Food Direct for my kitty that was having trouble with throwing up his food. Friends told me to try grain free food.
I ordered the food from Pet Food Direct. In the mean time I had to take my cat to the vet for a check up. He wasn't throwing up any more but doctor wanted to see him. It was then my vet said that he would need a different kind of food (prescription) for the rest of his life. Therefore, I wouldn't be able to use the food that was ordered from Pet Food Direct which was on it's way to my house.
When it came I knew to call right away which I did. They told me I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE RETURN SHIPPING WHICH WAS $35.00. The cat food cost me less at $33.00. Anyway, I read their policies and saw they did offer return policy if not happy. However, one must pay their own shipping return if they are not satisfied. They only pay shipping back to them if they made a mistake. The people working at the company couldn't care less about keeping customers. I even called and spoke to a supervisor about it. She could care less.
Now, I JUST CALLED CHEWY.COM (after my friend told me about it)... to see what their policy was. They told me that they WOULD NOT HAVE CHARGED ME FOR ANY TYPE OF RETURN. THEY WOULD PAY FOR THE RETURN AS WELL!
So I am donating the food to the Humane Society near us and say…. BYE, BYE PET FOOD DIRECT…… HELLO CHEWY.COM! All of you out there needs to do it as well. BTW…… the same food was even $7 cheaper if I had got it at chewy in the first place, STUPID ME!

I ordered on a Friday evening and had my cat tree Monday morning! Inexpensive pricing and the tree was so sturdy even our fat cat can jump on it. It wobbles a little when he does but it's totally fine! :D Completely delighted with this place!

Oh, yeah, it came with a couple of toys which is why the cat is chewing on the (elastic) string. Those were gone within a day or two but that's expected. Our cats are like sharks, haha. They play with the toys but yeah, the string was snapped.

I happened up chewy.com when looking in amazon.com for a cheap flea drop store. So i ordered from them. I received my order the next day (with free shipping). However I ordered the wrong thing. So i got into a chat room to find out how to exchange the drops. They said to donate the drops to a shelter and took care of ordering the correct ones. Very pleasant and quick. I can't recommend them highly enough! chewy.com
