Don't use Chegg. They will charge you and then block your account saying that you are sharing it when you obviously aren't. It will provide you with steps to prevent the block from happening again, after you wait 2 days minimum to regain access to what you paid for, you will take those steps - and then they will do it again. I literally made 2 storage accounts with two different emails and two forms of payment and only accessed chegg through their mobile app from my one device (you pay for two) and within a day of each account being made they charged me and blocked my account.

I am so disappointed with chegg services. I don't want to give them even less than a star. I never did a negative review but chegg deserves it. So I subscribed last month for a month and opt out for auto renews. But today these guys charges me without any permission. These guys have access to your cards even u opt out for autorenew. So they charged me i got a mail about it and i started a chart with their customer service team. They said their system is updated. They can't do the refund. So all they guys can do is charge u without your permission but they cant do the refund. Seriously!. Please don't buy chegg.

What you go to a store and you don't buy anything but the teamor the authorities at the store charge you. Don't u guys think its fraud.

I've been using Chegg for three years; the first year, it provided excellent tutoring services; however, in the last year, their services have deteriorated significantly; writers provide plagiarized answers, and all they do is copy and paste content from online sources; I'm truly dissatisfied with their services as a whole.

Most of the answers are wrong. But worse than that, they will turn on auto-renew subscription when you didn't ask for it and continue to charge you money. Good luck getting it back. I didn't.

Takes more than two hours to reply or answer questions. Don't pay for this website!
They say they answer 20 questions per month but you won't have your answers most of the time. If they do give answers, They give wrong answers or ask for more information about the question while the question is completely clear.

The textbook solutions for this site are great. However, I have had an issue just signing into the account with almost every attempt. I have had to create a new account with these guys several times and every time I have to do it, my debit card gets locked for potential stolen card. This is just one example of the thousand reasons I have been locked out of the site. I work full time and have a young family on top of school so spending a couple hours just trying to get this site to work so I can get some help on my homework is less than ideal. Needless to say, I will no longer be doing any business with Chegg.

I ordered a textbook from chegg with an "guaranteed" delivery about a week later. The textbook failed to show up and there was no delivery date when I looked in the delivery information. I did the online chat with a customer service person who responded slowly and with no solution for my issue, just suggesting that I return the book when it gets there. She informed me that it was going to be over a week late, and refused to offer me an ebook until the physical book arrived. Overall frustrating experience with no offer of recourse when they obviously messed up.

I am requesting a refund for charges made to my debit card. I cancelled my membership July 2020 and kept getting charged until January 2022. Chegg is making it hard for me to get all of my money back although I had cancelled my subscription already. They are only refunding me for January 2022, December 2021, and November 2021, which is not fair nor ideal since I had cancelled my membership. I don't agree with their policy of not returning the money that is rightfully mine when I have proof of cancellation. Clearly, robbery.

Used for a month. Kept getting charged 2 months after I requested my account to be cancelled. They wouldn't cancel my subscription and kept billing me every month for something I didn't use nor wanted to. Had to contact customer support 3 times to finally cancel my subscription, the 3rd time was a month after the 2nd time when they said they did. Wouldn't give a refund either for charging me for 2 months I shouldn't have been charged for.
Horrible customer service, horrible hidden fees, horrible money grab of a platform.

I post a question on Chegg and the answer I got is ( Please give few minutes i will re upload the answer. I am facing technical issue so that's why i asking time, please trust mei will reupload the answer.) when I talked to customer service they said sorry sorry sorry that all they can answer when I asked for a refund for the question they said sorry we cant you accede the limit of it. One of them said don't depend on Chegg because it not always has correct answer. So now I lost the question also didn't get a refund. Is that how u deal with your customers?

We pay a lot of money only to fail, what's the use of paying so much money if you going to fail? I failed two of my important assignments after getting answers from chegg, really dissapointing.

In the past when I used Chegg, their prices were cheaper than other options and they delivered the textbooks on time. Now they claim books were unreceived (upon further review by customer service, it was simply not logged in by receiving), and take over a week longer for shipping than what you pay for (which isnt the quickest shipping time, and I chose an expedited shipping method). It's become a headache and not worth dealing with.

I decided to buy some of my books from chegg to get them a little cheaper, although some end up being more expensive so I just find those else where. When I received my first two books, the one box was already breaking and the book wasn't even that heavy. The boxes aren't of good quality at all and they expect you to return them in these if needed? Not to mention the books aren't protected in anyway. It's literally just the book alone in the crappy box. I'm also still waiting on like 6 other books I ordered a week ago. They've been "shipped" but there isnt even an estimated date of arrival. Needless to say, I will never be buying from chegg again.

P.S. Chegg always says you get a free gift but I've never gotten one. I think it's bs to get more attention and purchases

The solutions you will receive are not useful and the price is too high for what they offer. Also, the answers take days not hours to be sent to you and still they are not what you have asked for.

I hate this site so much, it is a waste of time and money as well as the answers being incorrect sometimes. Words truly don't do it justice how much I hate it.

Do not buy anything from this scam site, i bought it to have some hints about a problem therefore i posted it 20 times on chegg because every time the answer is the same and unrelated. So the result is that i spent 15 dollars for nothing in return.

Chegg does not care about students and literally only wants your money and don't kid yourself into thinking that customer service will be helpful at all or follow up with you. I accidentally sent back a book that was not rented from Chegg, it has been almost a year and the only thing they have offered me is coupons for my next purchase. I am a student putting myself through law school and their warehouse has been unable to find my $200 book. They have the book in stock but would not send me one of their copies nor would they give me any sort of credit to purchase a different book. I realize sending the book was my mistake but the handling of the situation just shows that they don't care about students and its alllll about the money. The best part is when the situation first happened, I tried to search their website for an answer because surely I am not the first person to do this. The "solution" is behind their paywall and they want you to pay their monthly fee in order to see the answer to a customer service question. On further investigation, this has happened to a lot of students and the same thing has happened to them. No follow up, no credit, no getting the book back. I am sure Chegg is now renting out my personal book and profiting on it but the best they can offer is a 10% coupon on my next purchase.

I tried out the platform and after not finding it all that useful I cancelled it after a month - I got the confirmation email and everything. One year later and I see that they've still been billing my (now unused) credit card. It seems like when you cancel all they do is send you an email with the confirmation while resetting your subscription in their system...
