CheckPeople. Com made it effortless to reconnect with my long-lost half-sister. Forever grateful to have my family together again! (I seriously cried when I found here - I cannot thank you enough for this!).

I wish it were free, but CheckPeople. Com gives comprehensive reports that are up to date, and even shows hidden dating profiles and fake names. Its worth it, but maybe think about a free option for people?.

This is the worst/sneakiest service i've ever used.
I paid 4.99 for a background check. After i put my credit card information in, they send me the reciept that says my account will automatically be renewed after 30 days in VERY small letters at the very bottom of the reciept, they then charge me on the 3rd, the $30 automatic renewal to something i didn't in any way shape or form agree to before hand. Just because i give you my credit card for a specific service doesn't mean i automatically would want to or agree to continue? What a $#*!ty service. They should have asked if i wanted automatic renewal as i was signing up not after the fact and on top of that try to sneakily put it at the very bottom of the reciept in small letters. If that is the way you think you should be getting business, you are not ethical and shouldn't be a business. You are the worst. Go to hell.

They tell you it's a dollar but it's about $8 total and you have to read the fine print in order to see it. They also charged a $29 hold which they told me would be released back to my account. We'll see...

I used this service and accepted the rates thinking it was only a dollar and then 4.99 after. Then seven days later I'm charged 29.90. I called to ask for a refund and got a very rude lady who told me all she could do was cancel, her name was Cloey. Then when I pressed that I needed a refund and I didn't use the service other than one day she said it's based on subscription not on how much you use it. Then when I told her I needed a refund or I was going to have to go through my bank to mark the charge as unauthorized, she put me on a hold. Then came back and said I could email about the refund even though their site says to call about all billing issues. So then I asked for a supervisor and spoke with a guy who was more understanding and the only reason I'm giving this a one star - when I pressed he finally said he would issue the cancellation and a refund, and that it would take 3-5 business days.

Honestly though this site was not as accurate as I had hoped.

This website should be banned. Lies and more lies. And if you pay for it, it will be more lies. Nothing is accurate. False information's from the very beginning.

Searchpeople.com advertises "$1.00 trial 1st search" but charged $6.99 & results were not very accurate!

Kudos to Check People for their outstanding service. I used it to run a background check on
A neighbor and it was worth every penny. You can't be safe enough with new neighbors moving
In especially with your kids around. The detailed report was satisfying, providing me with information on my neighbor's bio and criminal record. Thankfully, the background check was clean. So I have nothing to worry about.

I had my doubts about the person I was dating, and wanted to be cautious before getting too involved. I used CheckPeople to run a background check on them to gain a better understanding of their past. I saw some red flags in the criminal history that was included in the information. However, I'm grateful for CheckPeople's service because it allowed me to protect myself.

The interface was easy to use and it only took me about 5 minutes to find contact info for an old friend despite their name being very common

I hope my review helps someone not get scammed just like I did. $30 was withdrawn from my bank account for no reason. They said $1 and now I'm out $37 for information that wasn't even helpful. "Verified by Visa" my butt. Don't give out your card info y'all, please.

The site said it was $1 to get information. I checked my bank account the following day and $6.99 and $29.99 was withdrawn from my account. The information I found on the person was also google-able.
