So, I booked three tickets from Fresno to Denver round trip for a Spring break visit with our son who was working in Colorado. Several times before the trip the flight was cancelled and time changed for the departure, We accepted the changes to our paid for flight (accept or pay fee). Then Covid restrictions required the cancelation of the trip, two of our party are classified Essential workers. I spent hours trying to call Cheapoair for a refund, when I did get to talk to a reprehensive he said I was only allowed a Credit. I explained this was a one time trip and we have no intentions of flying anywhere. He said sorry! Why is Cheapoair not refunding the booking fee? These people are THIEVES and I told them so!

Due to Covid my International flights got cancelled by the airlines. I have tried calling cheapoair several times to receive my full refund and they at first sent me an email with a credit $700 short of the amount I paid. That is unacceptable! Everytime I call the agent either hangs up, or provides me with false information. I'm still trying to resolve this as the ticket price was thousands of dollars. This is unacceptable customer service and will not book with Cheapoair ever again.
I paid for a refundable ticket back in February. This ticket cost over 100 dollars more for each flyer so that it can be refunded and the website won't refund my ticket. I have also been on the phone for over two hours waiting for a customer representative. I got on the phone at 2 pm and it is 4:14. I believe they are trying to scam their customers due to lack of money for refunds. HOW else am i on hold until closing time. This is so un-responsible and it angers me that I did business with this company. I will update as soon as i can.
Miserable experience after I had to cancel my flight due to COVID-19. I'm sure there are many people in a similar situation. When I eventually got through to some-one got charged $140 by Cheapoair to cancel the flight and $1000 by the airline. Including the book fee - Cheap took $400 total for me to go nowhere - disgraceful. AND they took the cancellation fee immediately even though I have to wait 60 - 90 days for the refund. Been waiting 58 days so far - would like to hear if anyone has actually received a refund after this long waiting period.
I've never been so appaled by the service of a company before as I have with this site. My flight was cancled due to the coronavirus and never flew, yet im nearing 5 months later and still have not received my refund. Ive been jerked around through emails by the company providing me with virtually no information on what is taking so long. I've been told information needed to be sent to the airline in order to receive the refund. Weeks after they claim to have sent that information I still have heard nothing back at all. This company is starting to seem like a scam to me and I feel as if I may need to take legal action soon to get to the bottom of why I havn't received my money back for a service I payed for and did not recieve.

I book my flight on 3/11/20 I've been trying to reach a representative via phone a month ago and email. Today after a 1 hour plus wait on the phone I was disconnected. I called again after almost 2 hours wait I finally got a representative around 3:24 pm. I gave her my booking and I told her I'm requesting a refund. She stated my refund would be like 300 less than my total for my ticket. I began to explain to her that it makes no sense accepting the refund how could I go about getting future credit. She ignored me, kept talking over me and ignored my concerns and hung up the phone. I think cheapoair is being inconsiderate because I'm and essential worker however I'm being mandated as per my job as a nurse to stay in NY state during this pandemic. I would appreciate if someone would contact me via email to receive more info on obtaining future credit. I've been booking with cheapoair for a long time and my customer service today was disgusting. I'm trying to voice my concerns and the lady hung up the phone, Im surprised... very disrespectful service!

I booked my tickets and my parents tickets for July and there was cancellation on my flight which I understand it's because of Covid 19 but when I try for refund they don't give. When I booked the website said full refund if they cancel because of Covid 19. Why the have bad service because when I call them to fixing something the tell me go call air line when I call the air line the tell me call your agency, plus when I call the air line Iberia the want to charge me extra to change flight because COVID-19.
These people have turned into scammers! Stay away. I made a reservation through them and THEY cancelled it and I still have to pay the commission. Maybe they were ok before but since COVID 19 they suck. Stay away!

I was planning to go to Cancun with my group friends. I checked on cheapoair.com and selected all inclusive, romantic room and the bundle with airfare. I had paid $1146. 01 for 2 people in booking (*******), then I booked other booking for 2 of my friends ( *******) but something wrong with the website only showing the flight and cost me $767.58. I call cheapoair right away to find out why and no one helping me, keep sending me around and around. I have been waiting for 4 hours and get hung up by cheapoair. Then I have check on the email showing not all inclusive in there. I have checked with hotel and they said it's not all inclusive either.
I have been email cheapoair, keep calling the next day, call the bank to stop my payment and chatted with cheapoair but only answer I got that they only can do this but can't do that.
Basically this is not my fault. Cheapoair fault base on what you guy advertised on the website and reality weren't truth.

I purchased a ticket in Jan 2020 to fly to
Papeete from CheapOAir on Air Tahiti Nui for April 14,2020. I was going on a cruise that left out of Papeete on Norwegian Cruise Lines. Coronavirus struck and changed everything. Worldwide pandemic. I tried to get through to Cheapoair countless times with questions and couldn't get through. I finally got through once was told to send an email for a refund. I did and requested a refund. I also sent several emails to any and all depts. Including their billing Dept. Requesting a refund. I was given a credit and must be used in Jan 2021. I was actually charged $70 for changing the ticket. Which I disputed on my credit card and did win. I also paid $60 to select 2 seats on the plane. Oh btw the flight time at some point was delayed 8 hours by the airline. The flight was cancelled by the airlines and never took off! I'm a senior with a compromised immune system and will not be able to travel until there is a vaccine, so the credit for me, is a $1354 donation to Cheapoair. The airlines won't do anything because it was booked through a third party. The DOT has taken thousands of complaints regarding this scenario. They strongly encourage customers getting a refund, if desired. I will never ever do business with Cheapoair. CheapO turned out to be expensive-O. They should consider the circumstances this was a pandemic for Gods sake. Norwegian handled the situation entirely different. They are a reputable company I will recommend them and continue to use them. Buyer be ware of CheapOAir -and I strongly suggest you take all of their negative reviews to heart and then to your pocketbook.

I waited on hold, on several occasions, to speak with a representative for almost 2-4 hours and then was hung up on before I could talk to anyone. I have called and emailed to get a refund... no response. I got in touch with my credit card company and started a dispute, still in progress. No response from Cheapoair with trying to get in touch with for past 3 months. We've used them for years, never again after this.
Booked thru them in November for a flight in March. Due to covid everything was cancelled. We received refunds from EVERYONE except CheapOair. There name should be RipOffair. You try to call customer service, sit on hold for an hour & then get disconnected. This happened to me twice! When someone finally contacted me he barely spoke English & was rude. They said they will issue me a credit for the exact same people going to the exact same destination & if the fare is higher I have to pay it but if it's lower than too bad you're s$! T out of luck. Bought our european flights last october 2019 spending $1861 with $762 in "taxes and fees". When we tried to cancel our flights in april 2020 we could not get through inspite of emailing them and attempted calls to their 646 number.
I had to cancel a flight on a trip. I was told initially I would get my full amount of $ 5113. 75 back. But then a month later, I only received $4128. 75 -I lost $500 because of the airline. Had I known, I would have wanted a voucher. But CheapOAir did not contact me and now it is too late. Also, they were going to try to reverse it and were supposed to call me back after two days, but it has been a week and bow it is a done deal. They owe me $500 as far as I am concerned.

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
