I can't express my frustration enough with this nonsense company. If you're booking with them to save a buck, please think again. I had to reschedule my flight booked with them due to covid restrictions and ended up paying a lot more than what air canada was advertising the flight for. I then paid $346 just to select my seats (my partner paid $200) for the seats beside me going directly through air canada. Cheap o air then tagged on another $19 in alt seat fees and another $150.00 for "post fees" after selecting the seat. I didn't agree to either charge it was just added to my credit card bill. I contacted them on 4 different occasions, having to call long distance as their toll fee number isn't working, waiting on hold for over 45 min on 2 separate occasions, all to ask what these "post fees" were for. None of their reps could help me with this issue, and when I emailed them, they didn't respond. Insane ripoff. I will never book with them again.

I bought ticket by calling directly. I book ticket from Bufflo to Dallas for 340 Canadian dollars. The person confirmed me yes it Canadian dollar but when I saw my statement next day they charged me 347 USD dollars
Since then I am calling them but no service provided. When I argue to listen the recording so they said yea we have listen it was USD dollar. When I ask them to forward me the recording they have no answer even I said if it's says USD dollars then I will pay extra 100$ as a gift but since then till today no one is solving it. Seems like they are cheaters and I urge to every one be careful with these tugs.

Due to weather issues all flights were canceled including mine. I was not informed/notified until I got to the airport. Then I called customer service and they said I would get a full refund for my tickets but the car rental was another history. It's been horrible dealing with these people. I spent 5 hours on the phone trying to initiate a refund process. Tossed around for hours and nothing got done. In the end I was told I won't get a refund for what I paid up front for my car rental even though I had no power whatsoever over what happened.

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
Answer: Security may not be an issue but they can cheat you by hiding information you should know. I would suggest to not use them and their customer service personnel are also worst I have ever seen.
