It took me awhile to figure out the pricing, but once I did, it was smooth sailing!
Annoying seat selection process that tends to charge $39 for selecting the seats that are not guaranteed either. Does not provide a free 24 hour cancellation that most travel sites do provide

My original flight was cancelled by the airlines. When I went to re-book my flight and use my seat credit the airlines would only talk to the travel agent, Cheapoair. From this point you would think that would be simple. Getting someone to answer the phone at Cheapoair was on average a 30 minute wait and from there it has taken hours and hours being on the phone with Cheapoair to have them call the British Airways Trade Line which I wasn't allowed to do since I wasn't a Travel Agent from Cheapoair. My seating credit and changing my seats still has not been resolved. Cheapoair has lied to me about calling me back, I've been lied to about being placed in an exit row once Cheapoair did talk to the British Airways, I've been disconnected while trying to explain to Cheapoair about my credit, and still I haven't been helped. I have never experienced such terrible customer service and won't ever book another flight through Cheapoair. If I could select no Stars, I would have...
We booked a flight to Paris in 2019 with Cheapoair, then the pandemic just killed our plans to go to Europe. Cheapoair was unable to offer a refund, while the airline would have. So, we wanted to change the flight to Cancun. Hours and hours talking to the Indian hotline later, we were able to do so, while losing about 2,000 CAD in taxes and processing fees. Cheapoair was not able to inform us, that the airline declined to reissue the tickets, so we canceled the hotel and had to rebook half a year later. At one point we had a direct flight between Cancun and Calgary, but the airline decided to cancel the direct flight and send us through Vancouver. A couple of days later the direct flight was back on their website, but CheapOair refused to book us on it again (no seats left - haha). Last but not least, the check-in process at the airport took us about 1 hour, because the flight tickets were disassociated. All in all, I would say I spent about 30 hours on multiple days in the waiting line of the hotline. Supervisors who wanted to call back in 24-48 hours never did. Sometimes the audio quality of the people calling back was so poor, that I had to simply hang up and try again. 90% of the people were completely incompetent and not helpful for example of the disassociated tickets... If there would be a zero-star rating, Cheapoair would deserve it...
Don't book through them! I will NEVER book with CheapOair ever! I had to cancel the ticket that I booked for my Mother due to medical issues. And there was nothing they could do for me! After I had to pay for all the extras! It's a rip off! They won't get my money anymore!

My Qatar Booking srom Naha Okinawa to Atlanta Georgia. My Name is Michael A, Staves booked on a Qatar flight from Naha Okinawa to Atlanta GA. I have a few questions.
1. Can I show my Itinerary and Covid test results on my I Phone at check in as I do not have a printer
2. I wanted to confirm that I am authorized 2 check in bags. I have two check in bags, 1 carry on and computer bag.
3. When booked it said seat selection upon check in at each destination.
I buy ticket and don't toll me about the restriction, i lost my money and not help me for release the problem
The only available seat after purchase of ticket is an up charge seat. The extra cost is an unfair business practice.

I am very disappointed with the service I received! I had a credit from a previous flight, I booked another flight. Number one, I had a hard time understanding the gentleman that was helping me book my flight, he seem to be getting very irritated with me as well because I was trying to understand the information he was giving me. But what was really upsetting is, they charged me a lot more than what I would have paid if I had booked directly with the airline!
When I was questioning the gentleman that was assisting me he became very irritated. I purchased the ticket and paid the extra 107.00 and when I looked at my ticket he charged me an additional 139.00.
I will never go through this company again!

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
Answer: Security may not be an issue but they can cheat you by hiding information you should know. I would suggest to not use them and their customer service personnel are also worst I have ever seen.
