Last summer I booked four tickets from San Francisco to London thru Cheapo Air. The flights were cancelled with no way to get a refund they gave us vouchers. I am trying to book the same flights from San Francisco to London, four months in advance, and now the flights are double the price and I am not able to use the vouchers to cover the full price of the tickets. I do not see why I should have to pay a lot more for the same tickets one year later and we can not get our money back. Vueling air.

Horrible experience and agents are like robots and not personable. Very insensitive and kept me on hold for 1hr 36 min. Experienced a death abrubtly and then having to deal with reps who have no human heart is the worse. Frontier has to be the absolute worst airline and I'd never in my life want anyone to experience the heartlessness I've experienced with them today. Thankfully a Cheapoair agent tried to assist and conference call me in with the airline.
I used this airline to fly from one Caribbean island to the next and even purchased travel protection which I later found out was another company all together even though they stated that should I have to cancel due to covid that I should be covered, it's all a scam …this was not the case as I later found out.
They then went ahead and charged my card without consent an additional $535 to change the dates without calling the airlines to find out if the fee would be waved which it is 99% of the time …they never spoke to the airline and just decided to charge me. Spent hours upon hours trying to communicate and I was also calling internationally so I was being charged international rates. After my card was charged while i was on-hold for over 15 mins by the agent when I saw the email pop up that I had been charged. I told him that I did not give him permission and that the charge to change was absurd and he was extremely rude. Two tickets that were supposed to cost $600 ended up in total costing $1650 I am still attempting to get a response from them and also from the insurance. Very unsatisfied.

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
Answer: Security may not be an issue but they can cheat you by hiding information you should know. I would suggest to not use them and their customer service personnel are also worst I have ever seen.

The airlines allowed non refundable tickets an extension in the beginning of covid, they also waived off the change fees, but it did state in the email that you have to rebook and additional fare difference will be collected. Perhaps changing dates will keep the cost down.
