Change your name to cheaposervice cuz you scam people, you rob them, you take them for a ride, you over charge them and then give them crappy customer (LACK OF SERVICE). I first booked a package which was falsely advertised. They have serious glitches in their app but won't provide service. Bottom line my first package as advertised without alternatives included airport transfer to and from hotel. But no. Airport was in a different city where there's no shuttle and uber would cost a lot.
I decided to book a second flight because they wouldn't change the first one or provide a shuttle. I paid $227 and paid the $29 fee plus the seats and bags and received the confirmation email. Got to the airport but had no ticket. My reservation was there but I had no tickets. When I called them, some guy based in India with a horrible phone connetion told me, " YOU DON'T HAVE A TICKET MAAM. Because you bought this ticket when it was cheaper. Now it has gone up to 800 dollars." I said so you're saying that your app glitches and despite getting a confirmation email, I have no ticket. He said, "we can cancel it and make you a new booking." The AA agent at the check in desk in the airport heard our conversation and told me, "this is bad business. This flight is empty and the ticket on our website is only $207 including all fees, bags and seats." They wouldn't honor the price and this is the third time I get scammed by them. You're better off with the airlines directly or any other company despite how attractive the price might see. It's a scam.

It was very informative and systematically organized to book the the ticket.
No information was given about the cost of carry-on luggage or about seat reservations until after the booking was made, but I did receive a call from Chepo air to make these reservations.
I booked my trip online and immediately received a phone call to purchase insurance. Now that I need to cancel my flight I'm told I didn't purchase insurance AND I'll need to pay other airline fees or lose. I have an email confirmation of the purchase and CheapOAir will not honor it. Also terrible customer service. Good luck with the bots keeping you on hold for hours and then a statically call from a cell phone as a live agent. Stay far away.

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
Answer: Security may not be an issue but they can cheat you by hiding information you should know. I would suggest to not use them and their customer service personnel are also worst I have ever seen.
