Death by 1000 paper cut added fees: - ex $3 for a boarding pass - can't get seats/luggage cause some seat selection/ luggage windows don't open till 7 days before? Absolutely not customer orientated. Two tour volunteer Vietnam vet /75 should get a break on luggage! Why not do what allegiant does and extend free baggage for those that served and are still alive? Also just bot interaction for questions but when I entered my cc info incorrectly - we immediately got a call. When the $ is going out to CheapOair- customer service reps are right there. Otherwise crickets...
I booked a few trips on your website. A few weeks after I have done it I was contacted by a customer services rep, who advised my second trip was moved to a different time. I was upset because take so much time to coordinate these trips. She advise that I can cancel, however, your website only will be refunding me the ticket prices, but not the seat I purchase or the travel insurance protection in case I canceled for any reason. I find you website misleading

Great Job on booking but some of the protections regarding claims is unsatisfactory
CheapOair didn't inform us that our tickets aren't available even at the last minute! They didn't inform us that they had issues with the credit card company used to pay the ticket. All the while we thought everything is ok. We have been loyal CheapOair users and they do this? They accepted my car rental, which was an additional but not the air tickets? Why give confirmations when all is not yet ok? If we knew there was a problem the. We could have probably done something about it!
Such a disappointment! We are having family Christmas reunion after years of not being together! All the preparations for this trip all gone to waste!
Update: CheapOair called me up that night to re-book us to resolve the situation but I already booked us directly to the airline company. So I resolved our problem on our own. They wasted our time, money and energy for the preparations that day. Not to mention the abject disappointment and anger that we felt! That, despite being loyal customers for a long time. We trusted them. They even deleted the confirmation booking that they gave us! Good thing I had screen shots of the booking confirmation that they gave! Now they tried to create a situation when they can deny even that they gave us Confirmation Booking! So dishonest of them. I'm thankful to this site for giving us platform for our grievances. If I didn't give my review here, they will just brush it off. They only tried to resolve it becaus they want me to remove this bad review.

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
Answer: Security may not be an issue but they can cheat you by hiding information you should know. I would suggest to not use them and their customer service personnel are also worst I have ever seen.
