I booked a hotel in Brooklyn for 4 nights then needed to change the room from a queen to a double and had to pay $300 extra just to do that! This is ridiculous.
Not to mention that all the points I've earned on this website are not even accessible to use for future bookings. I have been using this site for years and it is clearly a sham.

I used to love booking with chepoair.com. However, they have changed their policy and now the price you see when you are selecting your flights is actually not the price you book your flight at. For the third time now, I book a flight see one price and then when at the checkout window I get a message " Your selected price is no longer available" And I have to book at a higher price. Please stop doing this falls advertisement. I feel like this is some scheme to make people pay more for their flights. Like freaking them out at the last step and panic them so they pay the higher price.

Not as easy as my Delta App, and process remains incomplete because of seat selection not available, and baggage cannot be arranged yet. It says I am confirmed but still an incomplete process.😩

People all over the world are able to go onto their computers and phones and look for the same limited seats on any given flight, airfares and even flights can sell out very quickly. That is why it is a standard in the airline industry, no matter if you purchase tickets through the airline, an online website or a local travel agency, fares are never guaranteed until the ticket is issued. We regret any inconvenience or frustration.

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
Answer: Security may not be an issue but they can cheat you by hiding information you should know. I would suggest to not use them and their customer service personnel are also worst I have ever seen.
