I opted to book through Cheapflightsfares.com due to their slightly lower pricing compared to booking directly with the airline provider. Upon immediate confirmation of my purchase, I noticed an overcharge of $15 on my credit card statement. Contacting Cheapflightsfares about the discrepancy, they assured me of a refund and requested my bank account information. This raised concerns, so I requested a refund by check, which they initially agreed to.
However, after several days, I followed up on the status and was informed they couldn't issue a check but could transfer the refund via Zelle. Reluctantly, I provided my phone number for this purpose and was told it might take a day or two. Subsequent inquiries revealed the refund was still "processing." This back-and-forth has persisted for several weeks with Cheapflightsfares repeatedly claiming they're in the process of refunding but failing to follow through, resorting to stalling tactics.
I strongly recommend a thorough investigation into their billing practices, as I suspect this issue is not isolated to just my case.
I needed a wheelchair to get to all the areas in the airports and I couldn't find the place to request it so the cheap flight airfares personnel called me backed,assisted me to get my wheel chair! That's the best help I've received in a long time. It took less than 10 minutes for them to respond and with a live person to my email! Awesome service!
Charges upon order. Contacts later to say the tickets are not available at that price. Will refund in 3 to 4 billing cycles. What?! Don't charge me if you do not have the tickets! So we paid an extra $400 for the same tickets so we would not have two charges on our credit card. Even then they kept asking to change the destination! Offered to give us back their commission and two $50 vouchers. Commission amount dropped during the conversation!
Typical India scam. Make you fear something in order to get you to pay more!

This company is nothing but a bait and switch and should be shut down. Fortunately, I came out of the situation with a lot of frustration, but without losing money. They offer low-cost flights, and then call you and tell you that one of the flights is full or needs to be changed for some reason or another and then the only flight they can get you, is an additional $300 or more. They also try to tell you that the airline will charge you a $100 cancellation fee when in actuality the airline in question in my case has a 24 hour no charge cancellation policy. So this too was a lie. Ridiculous interaction, lesson learned.
I made this booking and immediately realized we chose the wrong time for the returning flight (I had two windows open while we were weighing our options and I booked the wrong one). Called immediately, like within 5 minutes of booking it. Customer service REFUSED to change my flight without charging me an additional $400. That is bull$#*!. They were also terribly rude and condescending the entire time. I called twice, both customer service reps were horrible.
Edit to add- customer service called us back today to edit our flight and assist us in getting the flight we originally wanted. We appreciate that they made the effort to make it right.
I booked a flight with cheapflightsfares and my carry on baggage charge was to be $98. That booking was never confirmed by the airline (Spirit). I tried to book again and my baggage charge went up to $150. I waited two hours for a conformation and nothing. I called the cheap flights fares agent and was told the price had gone up $134 more and only one seat left. I needed that flight, told them they were running a scam and took the flight. Later I was asked to review cheap flights fares and gave an unfavorable review. Then an agent called begging me to change my review offering seats, insurance, or a highly conditioned $50 voucher ticket if I'd change my review immediately. I refused and then he offered a monetary remittance. I said if I saw it appear on my credit card statement I'd consider upgrading my review. He said, "trust me, you will get it, just change your review" Well, it never happened. They are scammers and liars. STAY AWAY!
Despite the recent negative reviews, I decided to give them try. Booked a business class flight to Mnl from JFK. Got a confirmation email right away saying that my flight is confirmed pending payment verification and e-ticket issuance. Didnt hear back from them for 24 hours so I decided to follow up via chat. The agent said there was a delay on the airline side which I found hard to believe so I asked him to contact the airline to expedite the process because I saw my CC was already charged. He asked for 24 hours more and I said no way. I said I would give him a few hours more or I would cancel the ticket. Literally 2 minutes later my e-ticket was confirmed. So Im guessing they were waiting for the prices to go down before they confirm the ticket. 4 stars because they got me the ticket at the discounted price. Didnt like the $16 for the seat selection fee. But it was still much cheaper then the competition.
Being a first time user, I needed help in accessing my flight info and making changes. Calling customer service was quick and easy. Surprised at how responsive and attentive they were along with being pleasant and polite.
I thought I needed to pay extra for seats, I guess I do not have to. I will be refunded for this. Thank you for the call.
Customer service was helpful after I posted my frustration at being charged for any seat on my flights-not an upgraded seat, and a separate fare to sign in on line. If I understand what Marcellus explained, I can sign in online, but If I want CheapFlights to sign me in, then I would pay an additional fee.
Price changed but they made up for it just give them a call.
A good agent is very import for us when we have some issue. Cheapflightfares is not good platform. They are not trustworthy.
Booking with flightsfare it is best way. We can get information on time.
I bought four ticket from them on 11/22/2023 in the evening,at the same day get the confirmation from e-mail. After two week 12/7/2023 they called me my ticket was concelled. In fact, Carrier cancelled the reservation on 11/23 and refund the payment to them-chearflightfares. They didnot told me ---untill 12/7... and let me spend a lot of money on another plane ticket. I don't know. What's wrong with them and airline.
What are the responsibilities of the agent?
I bought the ticket on 11/22/2023 evening and get confirmation at the same day evening, why untill 12/2/2023 your team said my ticket cancelled and no reason. Your team put the blame on the Spirit airlines. In fact airline send the refund payment to cheapflightfares on 11/23/2023.
Cheapflightfares team reply me--- this is carrier problem without any liability of their company. There's nothing wrong with them on this case.
But I wanna ask what is your agency liability?
By the way, when I asked for the truth to 216-302-2732, customs service team didn't want to find out the truth for you, all of mistake from Spirit airline... when they don't want to talk to you again. Some of the people on the customer service team were very rude and impolite. Because of this situation, I was hung up by three staff, who did not have any patience to help you solve the problem, Including their supervisors.
I had a problem with the online check-in fee, but your representative was very helpful in getting around that. Great service!
A helpful agent called me back to address my concerns when a Window popped up with lower price and said to call to get lower price, but the online agent said that price was not available.
Initially, I blamed the flight change on cheap flights fares and now realize it was not their doing nor in their control. Cheap flights fares was kind enough to reach out to me, explain the issue I had and offer to help me make a change that works better. Thank you for this customer service!

We booked our flights to Costa Rica with the company and received a confirmation email. The following day, we recieved an email saying there was an issue with our booking and to call for assistance. When we called, we were informed the fare had increased and they were going to charge us an additonal $130/person (for a family of 6). The representative was completely unhelpful. At one point, they challenged us to find a better price elsewhere and when I was able to quote a lower price with a different carrier, they still wouldn't honor that price. The entire practice completely unprofessional and shady. I would highly recommend NOT going through this site. Our first, and certainly our last experience with them. Don't let them ruin your family vacation like they did to us!

Answer: If you have been offered a free flight or any promotion by Frontier Airlines directly. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use it with any Travel agency. You can redeem your free flight directly with the airline.
