Chase closed our account after doing 2 x payments to overseas trusted accounts. There was no discussion allowed and would not give any reason. Chase said they don't have to give an explanation and will there be anything else...Goodbye!. We are lost for words as this would be the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen done in business...**** Do not use Chase Bank as we cannot access our money now and lost $12K as they would not listen to us at all!

I have been on with Chase for an hour to address the pending deposit & 2 withdrawals on this account that did not come from me. Glenn, the customer service rep, said he could only put a claim in on the deposit and stated there weren't 2 pending withdrawals. I gave him the dates & the amounts, explaining they show on the screen and puts the account in a negative balance. He disagreed. He continued to speak over me even though I repeatedly expressed my dissatisfaction with him speaking over me. I requested a supervisor, which was told I could not speak with a supervisor. Then told it would take 20 minutes. Just terrible.

EVERY single time I have a new ACH, they ping it for fraud. I call up, I try to get verified and get hung up on. It is pathetic. I am out of here and you should not even enter. They are behind on verifications. They do it by phone. How about a 2FA system that is on an authenticator?

Account Restricted
April 12, 2023

Chase have restricted my account without informing anything. I operate a small business and make payments to different vendors every week. Chase have shut down all activities and not releasing the money i have in the account. Every time I call at *******086 option 1, some foreign people picks up the call with heavy accent. They all provide misleading or unknow information. I have spoken to a Supervisor from Ohio as well, who was extremely rude and could not provide any more information than one of the foreign rep. I am really frustrated with their service and how they deal with Small Business. Being a large bank no one can do anything to them and that's why they treat people how ever they want to.

This is the absolute WORST bank to get a loan from. I am due to have brain surgery next month and have always been told by the representatives that if I ever need help with making my payment to ask, they have many options. So today I called and asked for them to defer a couple payments to the end of my loan be cause I will not be able to work for 6-12 weeks after my brain surgery and won't be able to make the payments. They won't help! They want me to surrender my car back to them so I won't have a car after my surgery to get back to work. I will never get another loan through this bank. EVER! And I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Not even to someone I can't stand. CHASE BANK DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!

Chase is the worst bank I've ever used. I transferred some $ to a different account (outside of Chase) & after authentication, they claimed there was an issue. They looked my out of the account & then when I called them, they had me go thru hoops (code sent via text, phone call I answered). The last verification question was the name of my 1st mortgage lender which I used 21 years ago. After I failed that, they couldn't provide me with another question. They transferred me to a few more people, with no luck. Finally they transferred me to another Chase customer. Ridiculous. They make everything so difficult for a $1000.00 transfer. Don't use them - you'll regret it.

Scammers

I had my truck repossessed for missing one payment. Now they want me to pay the entire loan off to get it back. I was unable to work due to cancer but they don't care. Heartless money hungry company is what they are. Think twice before you accept a loan from them. Thank you chase bank for nothing. You suck.

Chase is a theft
April 6, 2023

Please share this story about Chase to help us get our money back!

They seized our account on March 17th because the checks for our car and warranty were "too big". Not just the checks- our account. Last week they issued two cashiers from the seized account to God only knows because they won't tell us. They finally returned the money that wasn't from the checks this week and admitted the checks weren't fraud and we proved they were legitimate but they still refuse to release the money so we can buy the next car or whatever else we need to do with our money. They have yelled at us, called us theives, threatened to have us and the car dealership thrown out of one of their banks when we tried to bring supporting documentation and have generally been awful. And they still have the almost 17 grand held somewhere outside of our account despite acknowledging its a legitimate check.

Please share this story and help us get our money back.

Unbelievable
April 6, 2023

I've had chase for over three years now. They've always... Sucked. But it was more of a "bearable" suck. However up until recently I've never had so many problems... My new job I started Jan 31st of 2023, and so far every single direct deposit check I've gotten. Is on hold or pending for a week AFTER payday... Every time I call the answer is the same "you haven't received those funds yet". My company's bank... It's also Chase... So my own bank can't seem to be able to direct deposit into one of it's own accounts, What irritates me is the incompetence... I got paid today, yet my paycheck still hasn't come through...

I have had to go into my branch twice in the last 30 days and each time I was greeted at the door, asked what I needed and sent to the correct location. The staff were all pleasant and kind. The last time the manager was there at the door and was very pleasant. He (Stephen) was able to assist me and called me later in the day to report on the progress. Just love this branch! I called Chase bank before I went to Thailand and told them I would be there in Thailand and to allow purchases and to be allowed to use my debit card at ATM machines in Thailand. I also told them that if they ever needed to verify me or my charges in Thailand that I would not have my American cell phone or access to that phone number with me in Thailand so that wouldn't be an option if they needed to verify me. I told them they would have to verify me through my email and or to ask me my security questions that I set up when I opened my online account. That only I would know the answers to. My laptop broke after being in Thailand for 2 months. I had already made probably 100 purchases and or ATM withdraws in Thailand. So they knew it was me there using my debit card and there were no issues until my laptop broke and I went to an Apple store to buy a new Mac Book Air for around $1,100 USD. My card was declined at the Apple store. Before I had a chance to call Chase customer service from my Skype phone I went to get cash out of an ATM machine since I was out of cash to live on. My ATM cash withdraws that I tried to do were also declined. I was out of money and no way to pay for anything online including my hotel room bill or my plane ticket home, etc. etc and I had no cash to live on. I spent the next 3 days on my Skype phone calling Chase fraud dept to have them unlock my account. I asked to speak to the supervisor and higher and higher up the Chase fraud dept I went from supervisor to supervisor until I reached the highest person in charge of the security dept. They never would unlock my account. They said the ONLY way they would be able to verify me and unlock my account was by my American cell phone number. I begged them to do it by my email and or my personal security questions but they wouldn't. I had no other credit cards or debit cards. They made me homeless in Thailand with no money for food or anyway to pay for a hotel or plane ticket home. Please help me get these evil doers.

P.S.

I have been to Thailand probably 20 times in my life and when this happened before I would just call them up and fix the problem in one call and they would unlock my account via my email and my personal security questions.

Rude clerks
March 26, 2023

My husband lost he's wallet, he had no identification what so ever. Clerk and supervisor at chase bank on Clifford were unwilling to help. Rude and disrespectful. Didn't care that he had a picture of he's driver's license on he's phone. No money for seven days! Getting our money out ASAP! Staying away from this bank!
