I will be closing my account when my paycheck clears, and encourage everyone to switch from Chase. This is the 3rd time a check deposit of mine will be on hold for 7+ days. My employer's HR guy got a hold of Enterprise Bank. They said adamantly that there is no issue to release my funds. Chase is a selfish greedy financial institution. My daughter's birthday is ruined because they are holding my paycheck hostage; I now owe late fee's to several services. I spoke today with Michael who told me "We cannot request anything with Enterprise Bank, because they won't communicate since we(chase) are not their customer." So I repeated what I had been told by a lady rep the day prior - June 9th(Fri) - "If your funds are not available by 3pm today(fri) then they should be tomorrow morning(today/Sat)". That was after a 15-20min hold for the lady rep to contact Enterprise Bank. Michael called me a liar by saying "she never said that; that is not accurate. Check the recording I said. Plus I responded to the lady rep with "I have never heard of a bank depositing funds on a weekend" but was reassured by her. What a dirty way to conduct business.

I am aware the longer you hold funds, the more days you have to profit off them. Chase's actions, policies, and algorithms are morally criminal. I never expected this from the largest bank in America.

Review Long Overdue The Worst Bank You Could Possibly Go With.
If you like being given absolutely no valid answers for why your $ isn't refunded in your account when you have literally Ebay, Paypal, and some random card creditor & an official physical receipt showing you shipped an item out - all saying / showing valid proof that $ should be there and its not. Maybe you have a problem customer with an expensive item you sold and its out of your hands. Maybe fraudulent identity theft charges. Where's the actual support when you have all this proof pointing that something should be done but they don't do anything. Giant time wasters. They will harass you like crazy even 6+ yrs later and ruin your credit even after you've established that you paid everything off and closed the account. It's as if that was never done at all, poof, $ I paid disappeared into thin air right. &How nice that they bill you every month.
I'm the official Extramillions top results of google, of twitch TTV, domain owner of that and 30 domains - a work in progress. They're harassing the wrong person. Let me tell you.

I signed up for the Chase United Club Card expecting to receive the 80K mileage points. The Chase employee never informed me that I would lose the points benefit if I used an existing Chase Credit Card number from a basic United Mileage Plus account, but Chase was adamant that she informed me of the fact and threatened to review the audio recording to prove it to me. The next letter I received from Chase informed me that they would not help me (with no mention of the audio file). I've called three times complaining and even offered to cancel the existing card and request a new account so that I can receive the mileage benefit, but they refuse to work with me. I've been a Chase member for 17 years and they are losing me as a customer! Chase's inability to recognize when an honest error has occurred and remedy the problem for a longtime member bogles my mind.

Rewards Points
June 8, 2023

Be very very careful with Chase Rewards they over charge for things like upgrades of seats on planes than you never get them and you end up with terrible seats and they wont refund the extra you paid for a better seat. Pretty much was told Tough! Be very careful when upgrading because chances are you wont get any upgrade you will just pay for it. Also called Chase they didnt help either. The bank is fine the rewards is terrible.

Got fed up with it in the end.

Had a bank account that sat for a couple months due to loss of employment. Called to make sure account wouldn't get deactivated before receiving my pay. Was promised that it would be fine. Now a day before payday they have closed my account and say i have to wait 3 days for a hold, then 7 business days to get mailed a check.

FOR SOME STRANGE OFF REASON...THE SAME UNHAPPY UNPROFESSIONAL TROUBLE MAKERS MNGR/ SUPERVISOR DECIDED TO SHOW ME AGAIN EXACTLY WHO THEY TRULY ARE TODAY. STRANGELY TELLING THE TELLER TO CLOSE HER WINDOW AFTER MY TRANSACTION WITH HER. I WAS LIED INTENTIONALLY TO BY THE MNGR. THERE REGARDING A CHECK I DEPOSITED...STATING IT WOULDN'T CLEAR UNTIL 5 TO 7 DAYS LATER. I HAVE NEVER HAD TO WAIT UP TO 7 BUSINESS DAYS TO CLEAR A CHECK. I DIDN'T SAY A WORD MORE TO HER AFTER THAT INTENTIONAL LIE. I WENT ON TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE CORPORATE AND THEY SAID...THAT NOR TRUE. THEY ALREADY SEE THE CHECK POSTED IN THERE SYSTEM AND THE FUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE TOMORROW MORNING AS USUAL. I WISH THE WONDERFUL
PLEASANT PROFESSIONAL GENERAL MANAGER MARCUS WAS THERE TODAY OR EVEN THE PROFESSIONAL KIND PERSONAL BANK GEORGE WAS THERE TODAY. BOTH PROFESSIONAL RESPECTFUL GENTLEMEN ARE VERY KIND TO EVERYONE...NOT JUST CERTAIN CUSTOMERS AND THEY ALWAYS SPEAK OR WAIVE HI WHEN THE SEE YOU. I ALWAYS HAVE TO THE WOMEN THERE FIRST...EXCEPT FOR WONDERFUL PLEASANT JACKIE WHO IS ALWAYS SO HELPFUL, SWEET AND RESPECTFUL TOWARDS ME AND OTHERS AS SHE DOESN'T BUY IN TO BEING SELECTIVE LIKE THE OTHER TELLERS THERE. SIMPLY LEARN HOW TO RESPECT AND VALUE ALLLLLLLL YOUR VALUABLE CUSTOMERS THAT PAY YOUR SALARY. TAKE CARE NOW.

This is one of the worst bank I have come across.
When I speak to customer services or any staff they don't even understand basic English. I'm done with CHASE. DO NOT even bother opening an account with them. I wouldn't be surprised if they are running this from the basement of their house.
Absolutely unprofessional.

For every payment they want to know who has sent the payment? They want their address, date of birth, and other personal information which goes against the GDPR and all this for someone who is already making the payment and it's the same name, same account, and it's not even a £100

I try to speak to them but they had no answer instead they forgot to put the phone on mute and I could literally hear everything they were saying...

Unbelievably unprofessional.

You wouldn't think this is a bank...

It took TWO MONTHS for the customer service at the bank to directly tell me what was wrong with my card, instead, they transferred me from department to department to department and ran me in circles before finally getting me to the right person two months later, which by then it was too late.

Deposited a check and chase took two weeks to process it, then after the two weeks i see the money in my account. So I got my family all dressed up to take my sweet wife out for a Mother's Day breakfast, and my card declines at checkout. The bank says they need to conduct even further review, and nothing they can do to help me. Absolute trash.

In November 2022, I purchase a shower, never even thought that it is from China. Seller sold damaged, shower unit. Refused to send a return label, Instruction, and zero communication. I dispute the charge with cheese link Business credit card. I am a client with Chase for 25 years never had any issue with the Dispute. November 2022 opened Dispute for that matter for $1086 with a Chinese, against Chinese company "sweet home". I Upload through portal over 100 documents, emails, pictures, that shower had damaged and we had a flood, It's cost me $50,000 to redo after we remodel we have to demolish and start over that's was insane. It's took me 7 months to find the Seller address through one Representative in the United States. I made 195 calls. I wrote all representative names. The rest was somewhere else in the Philippines in India, who does not even look at the documents I provided. They believe to a seller Who wrote respond to Chase through Google translate. Chase request, send shower to address they provided. After a month, they close my credit card, business checking account and they
Advised that I'm liable for payment $1086. Now I have no shower and I have to pay $1086

I believe Chase needs to work better on a customer service and especially Dispute department with a business accounts.
I request several times, that I cannot understand people from those countries, because I'm not native English speaker, I was asking them several times to transfer me to United States, they just dont care.

Now, they create a lots of issues for our business. It's a horrible company I would not recommend to anybody.
I filed a lawsuit against Chase.

We used our Sapphire Reserve card to buy custom designer furniture from James Antony LLC Design Center in Dallas Texas. The total was over $45,000. Over a six-month period, only two large living room chairs and two ottomans, a rug arrived correctly the two couches, four counter stools, four breakfast chairs and table, a coffee table and the wrong under padding for the area rug were damaged or wrong, and never corrected and delivered. We disputed over $30,000 worth items never received. James Antony denies any fault with anything claiming it was all our fault, even the items that arrived damaged from their "white glove" delivery service. Of course, we refused to accept damaged goods. The Chase dispute department never had two representatives say the same thing as excuses and we spoke to dozens. They simply continued to lie to us. They would get us off the phone by asking for more details and after providing them over 2" thick worth of hundreds of pages with repeated explanations and receipts etc. of supporting documentation, we have continually done as asked and supplied. Anything they requested as support to our claim they were provided by us, the merchant provided nothing, not even a receipt. This all started last June 2022. Yesterday May 12,2023 their representative said they do not check with the merchant just their bank which keeps repeating there was no billing error. Chase will not provide us with any documentation as to their investigation for this matter. Not even which bank the merchant processed our Sapphire Reserve card through for payment, absolutely nothing but a form letter or continued different stories from the Chase various employees repeating they were sorry but there is nothing they could do.

We have over 760,000 points with this Sapphire card, which were accumulated as we charge between $10,000 and 25,000 a month. That all stopped last month. We now use a different bank's Visa card. BTW- I had been with JP Morgan Chase since about 1988 when they were Valley National Bank, then Bank One, then just Chase and now JP Morgan Chase. Who really is the loser in this? We are out $30,000 and I have wasted months with letters, worthless long phone calls, filing complaints with the local Chase bank branch, even quoted back to them their written contract of visa card merchant agreement on the subject of "Chargeback 7.1 Merchant fails to issue a Refund to a Customer return or does not receive good or service." Now finally disgusted with their lies, and insulting waste of my time, Chase has lost us as lifelong customers. We are going to share our most disappointing story with anybody and everywhere we can. Do not expect any buyer protection with any of the items you purchase!

On 3/10/23, my retired husband deposited a large sum of money from his 401 account to savings at Chase. They said in 2 days we would be able to access the money. I checked our account and our savings has been closed and they are not giving us our money back. We have contacted them many times and when we do what they say it is never good enough. This has been so extremely stressful and we don't know who to turn to.

Well suddenly, after about 55 years of using credit, you can no longer avoid interest if you pay your card in full. They have a new gimmick called "trailing interest". I carried a balance of $600 over one month, and paid their 24% interest of $14.50. Then the next month I paid the entire balance in full on the due date, but then on the next statement they charged me on a "Trailing Balance" of 444.00 for another $8.50, even tho I had paid the previous balance in full. So now, you have to pay your balance in full 2 months in a row, if you previously carried a balance that incurred an interest charge. The banks will Nickle and Dime us to death at 20+%, but put $20,000 in one of their accounts, and they will pay you 13 cents a month, if your really lucky. It's all done with mirrors so you never figure out their scheme.

Are their programmers testing what actually happens? It's so not intuitive. A box i want to close won't close. It wants me to set up a bank, I've already set up two. I want to pay off my loan and I can't updaet the amount to close out the loan. It won't access my connected other bank account. And on and on. My guess is they won't accept responsibility, they think it's all programmed perfectly and we're just ignorant annoyed customers. I wish the banking industry was held accountable for this type of terrible customer experience.

This bank will put a hold on your checks deposited for no reason what so ever. And not just for a day or 2. I was told my money would deposit in 2 days, and on that day I was told it wouldn't deposit for another 7 days. When I asked what they hold was on there for they had NO GOOD REASON! Talking to a manager named Mark, did absolutely nothing but help me decide to close my account. He refused to give me corporates number and said he would transfer me to his supervisor and then placed me on hold for OVER 40 MINUTES! I'll be glad when this bank goes bankrupt like the many others before it! Also, I'm not able to upload the additional hold on my deposit as the site will not allow me to screen shot that information #GO figure

Over the course of just 2 weeks- Chase bank confused me with our newly deceased minor child, rubbed salt in the wound of losing a child by making me jump through hoops to prove I was still alive… THEN put an extra long hold on a check, forcing us to scramble to pay for our child's burial, bounce a few payments- thus putting MORE stress on us… THEN they put ANOTHER hold on a paycheck deposit… as I write this- we have a deceased child, less than $30 in our account and nearly $5k waiting to be put in our account that's been waiting to be "confirmed" for going on 2 weeks!
All from a bank "too big to fail"! Ridiculous!
