I was a victim of fraud & my mobile phone got remotely hacked on May 9th 2023. Made a police report and everything. Chase gave me my money back on the 12th. On June 20th 2023 over a month later Chase recharged that money without warning. I felt like I got violated twice. Chase is just as worse as the hacker in my opinion. There response was we sorry it's just not covered. But supposedly there clause states fraud protected up to $250,000. I guess they pick and choose who they want to protect. I would give no stars if I could. They are worth crap.
Cast service has given several dates on when I will receive my 200$ bonus. I doubt I will ever see it. Have spoken with about 5 different people and everyone has a different answer for me. Nobody knows what is going on and it takes forever for them to "research the account" if you are thinking about switching banks just go elsewhere and save yourself from the headache.
Being a customer of Chase for many many years, with checking, savings, investment accounts and credit cards, I have never had a complaint, and would generally give 5 stars.
Today, out of the blue, I received 2 letters stating that my checking account, and a credit card account are being closed for unexpected activity. There is no unexpected, unauthorized or unusual activity on these accounts, I called for a explanation, got transferred to 4 different department with the same explanation: "We can't provide you with a explanation". BS
OK so whether Chase knows it or not COVID-19 pandemic is over talk about banking hours 9 to 5. There are people who actually work and have jobs. I need the assistance of a teller and not an ATM machine where it took me 20 minutes to make a deposit they only take one bill at a time. And when I asked somebody that was leaving, an employee, she was like oh it's been that way since 2019. Haha. Well, I think it's time for Chase to update their hours and either open early or stay open till at least 6:00 pm to accommodate the working class. No they're too busy swindling and putting money where they shouldn't be putting it time for a new bank.
I have had the worst experience I had ever in my life with any banking institutions, their customer service is horrible and unprofessional to deal with some of them they don't good English to communicate with the customer.
The worst come when I deposited a check and they withdraw the funds from wells forgo bank and they said they going to put hold on the check for twelve days and they will release after that they don't have any genuine reason to hold this check the same thing happened to one of my friend from chase he purchased a truck from someone and wrote a check to him they released the funds to the seller after two days they debited his account and took back the money the seller got mad with the buyer and when the buyer went to chase bank they could not tell any good reason why they took back the from and told him to write an other check to seller which is pull$#*! to do so he as to pay him with cashier check and they charge him $10 dollars to issue cashiers check this people are greedy and money hungry.
I'm afraid they are going to file a bankruptcy soon so avoid banking with them if you want have access and freedom with your hard earned money.
I'm an owner operator I worked for these money day and night so it didn't come easy way and tax payers should be mistreated by this horrible bank. Avoid your is yours not their Should not control you money how you use and when to use it.
I am moving to another state from the state I currently live in and told them at Chase bank that I needed to leave my account open until all of my direct deposits were going to my new account in my new bank. The minute that one of my direct deposits came through to Chase bank they closed my bank account out and denied my direct deposit. Now I've got to go through all kinds of stuff to try to find out how to get my direct deposit either to my new bank account or to me because that money is what I need to live on for the month. I've had nothing but problems with this bank since I started banking there. I would not recommend them.

I have to call Chase support weekly for one problem or another. I have been a long time 25 years, with Chase. I also have 30 other accounts from various business also with Chase. The problems vary' today it is Zelle. Chase will not interact with PNC Bank. Chase has a habit of passing the buck. On ave4rage I get on the phone and get transferred 5 times. Repeat my story each time and ultimately almost always the same outcome. "The problem is not with Chase" but it is and I have to prove it each time by getting the other party on a conference call with Chase. I waste an average of 4 hours each time. This is the worst customer service and although an huge task and a major disruption of my business I will have to leave if the don't fix this. This all started about 4 years ago probably with offshoring.
After I discovered 2 frauds on my credit card bill I immediately called to report it. The frauds were temporarily removed but later put back on my account with a reason that since I didn't report a small charge from a grocery store too that they consider that as proof that the two other charges were valid. I'm 100 percent sure that those other charges were not made by me but they're still holding me responsible to pay them. Chase fraud protection is either a total fraud or is totally incompetent. They wouldn't even bother to see if a $1305 charge if it had my signature or not. Perhaps it's time for a class action law suit against this bank. Justice is due
2 years ago Chase had the best website on the internet, in the past year they have become the worst website! Continuous messages stating "This part of our website is not working now!" and just dropping the connection altogether. Never replying to messages and only apologies from their customer support!
If it wasn't so hard to change banks I would have been gone a long time ago. I am getting close!
I called in because i just recently got a card from chase they mailed the card to the wrong address and i was unable to receive the new account bonus offer because of it called in to understand whats going on and wasn't able to get the help i needed.
I sent money by using online real time transfer, however another account never received money.
I call Chase ask to investigation, they said they investigated it, everything is correct on their side, nothing they can do.
They don't even want to speak to destination bank.
So I asked them, [does that mean my money just gone.], they even say [Yes.].
If you care about your money, don't put there.
Over a month ago my wife and I stopped at a local Chase branch to transfer our IRA funds to another bank. We did exactly what they told us to do. As of today we still don't have our money. Worst customer service I have ever seen in my 66 years. They will deposit your money quickly. Withdrawing money is another story. Unbelievable.
I'm starting to get to the point where I'm thinking to drop chase and take my money elsewhere. They have been having terrible customer service for a while now. I recently lost my card and since they stopped giving the instant one at the branch. They said would arrive 5-10 business days. 15 days went by and nothing. I called again and the person I spoke to no apologies or anything. Only said I was getting another one sent and another 5-10 days AGAIN! Now already almost 2 weeks and nothing has arrive. I called and 20 min wait. Smh I just can't with them. I just need my damn $#*!ing card
If you have an account with Chase, you will find out what bad customer service means. Chase Bank will provide you with the Worst Customer Experience. They transfer customers at least 7 times from one line to another and each representative says that it is someone else will be assisting with this matter. The supervisors including the Corporate Office assist in the same way. They DONT ASSIST. Having a bank account with Chase is the worst-ever decision.
The dispute mechanism is a complete sham and intended to dissuade the consumer from using it — you're better off not shopping on line because businesses know you have to go through fire to dispute an error or bad merchandise. Unfortunately, the government is in on it with the banks to coup de gras brick and mortar businesses -/ so you can't shop in person due to scant brick and mortar businesses and if so — limited inventory — so it's suck it up and good luck. Was on the phone for over half an hour on an attempted dispute with overseas Tiara — asked to speak to a supervisor, but she said I needed to write a letter to PO Box ******* Wilmington DE *******, so the hassles continue as intended — $242.54 $#*! Sporting Goods and $152.15 Williams Sonoma — have not received the last item at all because, apparently, you cannot cancel an order, even if within a day of the order and they're not delivering said order for two weeks. This is infuriating. You're better off not buying anything on line. Seriously -/ Williams Sonoma has high prices and awful customer service, so just don't shop there.
Try emailing executive (dot) office (at) chase.com to get some items resolved, but they also don't care about the customers and only want to focus on making money for the company.
Started an application for the chase sapphire "reserve" but realized on page 2 is was the preferred (so this was my error). I immediately closed out without signing the electronic signature part and went to the correct card...however, a notification email of a new card (the preferred) came across my phone a few seconds later.
Within 30 seconds I was on the phone with the company and spoke with 6 people. The 3rd lady almost fixed it but apparently is was processed while I was on the phone with her and then it was as if I had signed my future 4 years with Chase away...
Option 1: delete the card which hits your credit and wait 4 years to apply for a new card in order to get the benefits
Option 2: keep the new card and swap in a year so lose points and don't get benefits from the reserve for a year
If I signed a legal document, this would be different, but I hadn't performed that yet. And yet because the computer processed it a HUMAN (who created computers) can NOT override it.
So I'm stuck with losing about $600+ in benefits or more as a result of Chase setting up their company so humans have ZERO control. I don't think I have ever in my life been so mind blown with such poor customer service options.
Chase customer service is the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Try getting a phone number for support in the first place. A joke. If and when you do find a way to call them be prepared for the most agonizing robot driven "what can we do for you today" screen that will make you crazy. Once you get thru that and speak to a human it gets more terrible. Then experience getting passed on to three other people who can't help you either and with each one having to verify yourself time after time after time. I honestly think that is there way to make you go away. It did with me and I thought maybe a local branch could help me but wrong on that. I went to one and then another with just more frustration. I will never ever ever use Chase for anything. If I try to buy a new car and they say the loan must go thru Chase then I'll shop for a different car. I'm done with their garbage.
Chase Freedom Has The Worst TV commercials I Have Ever Seen... Commercials Suppose To Attract Customers Not Chase Them Away. I Was A Customer Of Chase With 23,000 In Savings And Another 11,000 In checking... I know Use Fifth Third Bank And Love Them.

Answer: Offered as a finance for auto loan... I am seriously thinking of changing banks..
Answer: Because they can and they don't care. The customer service outside of the branch is non-existent. They truly don't care about anything other than the amount of money they can collect from the interest they can collect from our money.
