What an unprofessional, lazy, and disrespectful organization. We have four young boys and my money is ding ding ding, that's right, in my account. However, you froze my entire account, including access for both my wife and I. I can't buy groceries or get gas. Money that is mine is now under lock and key. Oh yes, it's a weekend too, and I can't get anyone on the line. I wasn't even contacted, frozen, and none of our cards work. Real nice chase, so much for our family weekend. Bunch of scumbags, I love that I deployed 8 times to return to this type of crap. I HATE JP MORGAN CHASE and I hope nothing but horrible things for this company. What is wrong with you and why do you do this to hard working Americans? What a disgrace, I will be closing everything with you. You stole from me and are making us eat Ramen until I get in the face of the local office first thing Monday. This is to try and get this message out more for all to know truthfully though, your quality is equal to the white stuff that accumulates at the side of your mouth when you get very thirsty.

I have been a customer for 13+ years and this is the year they chose to screw me over. A few weeks ago I deposited a large check and since the phone number to the law firm was not able to be electronically verified they flagged the check as fraudulent and froze my account without telling. This caused a slew of issues for me. They wanted my lawyer to drive across town to meet me in the branch to verify the check. I was furious they expected this to happen instead of reaching out to the law firm to verify. The check had a 9 day hold. Horrible service for the many years I've been with them. Then this week I go to pay off a loan at a credit union and they charged a 3% fee for $450 what they called a cash advance on a "debit card"… WTF? After hours of trying to get to the bottom of this the customer service reps on the phone continued to argue with me only making me more angry saying the Credit Union charged the fee and they are passing this on to me the customer and there is no way to reverse this fee. I spoke to the credit union and they don't charge such fees. It was a lie. After spending another hour trying get them to prove the CU charged them they finally tell me it's just a fee by Chase for this type of transaction that I didn't know was possible on a debit card. So they try putting the blame on the CU only to save face. Even after escalating to a manager and the manger at the local branch I am told there is no reversing this even letting them know I will close my accounts and all my credit cards with them so they can't make a single cent off me in the future. I was about to open a chase Marriott rewards card and spend $4-$5k per month on and would be very profitable for chase. I guess that $450 is more valuable than my future business. Think twice before opening a chase checking account they will eventually screw your over just like they have me.

Dishonest bank
January 28, 2022

01/28/2022 we went into the Lady Lake Florida branch of Chase Bank to cash a check drawn on their bank and the first teller told us "I'll check with the bank manager to see if there is enough funds to cash the check but you have to open an account in order to cash the check. I said the check is drawn on your bank why do we have to open an account to cash the check and she said that's the policy of the bank so in another words the check is no good because they won't honor it or their dishonest in trying to get people to open accounts on under fraudulent circumstances. In the Meantime we didn't get a penny and now we have to wait for our money and we have an account we don't want.

So we were stupid enough to go ahead and open an account, then the next teller tells us oh there's a $2500 limit on a Business check which we found out later was a lie as there is no limit on the check. She would not cash the check she would not give us any of the funds from the check when I asked for the $2500 cash limit she said "oh I can't can't give you ANY money at all you'll have to wait a week. This is not what the first teller told us. You're lying to people to get them to open accounts so they don't cash checks but they deposit them and they use your money for a week. It's very dishonest and I believe it's also illegal. The bank managers name is Mike and I called to speak with Mike about this incident and Mike wouldn't take my call or return my call. Monday I will go down personally and see Mike Face to face. Do not do business with this bank you can see that they have a terrible rating of two stars, this tells you all you need to know about this bank.

Not Cool
January 27, 2022

It's upsetting to me as a Chase client for MANY yrs that during the hardest time in my life. I was charged overdraft fees for paying bills such as, electricity, insurance, etc. It really would have been nice to know that at least your bank had your back. Past 2yrs have been so stressful and overwhelming. It was so hard to survive.

Crocks
January 27, 2022

I wouldn't dare recommend no one to bank with you guys. I had $4123 dollars taken out of my account and was only credited back $2,000. I obtained a police report and proof that i was not at the location where money was used at. I'm very disappointed and unsatisfied with my experience. The incident took place in November and still to this day i have not been credited back my money, no follow up call, no letters no alerts no emails no nothing from this bank. I will not put a dollar back in this account you guys are a disgrace to me. A damn negative zero crocks

Chase Bank is Atrocious
January 26, 2022

Chase Bank is literally the most incompetent company on the planet, they have lost or taken thousands of dollars for no particular reason and their customer service ignorant and incompetent. Take your billions in business elsewhere and send a message to Jamie Diamond that his company will collapse.

They could not care less
January 22, 2022

They close and restrict accounts for no reason They will not answer the phone. The branch managers are not able to contact other departments within Chase. They insist that you take a day off from school or work to sit at a branch location to wait over an hour on the phone.

I had a Chase Prime credit card for 4 years. Always made my payments on time I was foolish enough to purchase a mobility scooter from an ad on Facebook, it was a scam. I never received the scooter. I got in touch with Chase and told them I had never received the scooter, they chose to believe the scammer and paid them. I was labeled a liar. I paid my card off and cancelled it. I will never deal with Chase again!

Worst Online Banking
January 21, 2022

Chase branches' customer support vary widely by branch and the staff's interest in customers. The branch 24 miles from me has the best customer support, so that's where I go. The branch 2 miles from me has horrible customer support - so I don't go there.
But most consistently, their online banking is terrible. I cannot log into my account on one try. Their security requires that I get a code from them for each attempt. Today I was told that it is my problem because I clear cookies; I should leave them alone. Also told today that the problem is on my end because their computers are just fine, and that I need to change my password every time I sign in. I have given up on their online banking.

I came in needing to wire funds. The first words O heard were the branch manager shouting at me from his office telling me to get in line. I then waited to the side for over 30 minutes before someone helped me with the wire. I will be looking for another bank after today

I liked Chase for CC's but had an issue back in 2020 (Old Review Below). But since then they've fixed most of the issues and I've again enjoyed using their cards that offer Cash Back! I save a TON on Gas, Groceries, Take-out, etc... I was getting a new card every few years and now have 3 Chase Cards. Out of the 12 cards I have, I use the chase ones the most. That 5% adds up :) I pay fully every month via BillPay to avoid interest. They also offer Credit Journey which is an awesome motivator to keep track of how your FICO is doing (Currently 824, WooHoo!), Other cards have their perks too, like Discover also offers Cash Back and Simplicity offers Two additional years warranty on some products whereas most others only double your product warranty (Did you even know that? Check your Card info). But 90% of the time I use one of my 3 Chase Cards. I'm Very happy with Chase now.

OLD BAD REVIEW:

I stopped using my Chase Credit cards for 4 main reasons. (1) You can no longer get statements from them through BillPay. (2) They provided a 12 month 0% transfer offer, but after accepting, they made 1st months payment equal 90% of the transfer amount. Basically, I paid a transfer fee and had to pay the total transferred to avoid interest. (3) No matter how many times I've asked, they will not stop sending me junk email. The emails contain NO opt-out links and going to the site and un-checking all marketing options does not work. (4) Their Fees for transfer are much higher than most any other card. They have gone from a 5 star Card provider to a one star in about 3-4 years. I recommend Discover or AMEX rather than Chase for Credit Cards.

Chase put my check on a hold and could or would not tell me why. It was from a reputable bank and it was a business check not a personal check and under $1,000.00. I called to see why they put on hold, no answer then insufficient answer. I don't know the ATM automatically does that, is not an answer Chase... So I went to the Branch across the street from me same answer. What is this and ill advise stupid script. That derives nothing. Then I waited a day and Call a 1877 number for chase the person took the check off of hold and I asked. Why was check put on hold and they say "don't worry about it the hold is off now" I am like REALLY! What happened to proper customer service just out the window, and I really do not trust Chase bank now. Smh

This is a problem of shotty management. I was in banking management for several years, in no time have I seen such irresponsible, no back up plan careless management. I tried to use the Zelle product to transfer money to a person that worked on my car. Chase locked my account as to where at login it said your account has been locked for suspicious activity and it cannot be unlocked until you call this number. So the first time I called, the recording said wait time is over 50 minutes. I waited 78 minutes until finally hanging up. I called again and it gave me a choice to get a call back and I would not lose my place in line so I did this. No call back ever. In future calls this option no longer existed. On more calls I just let it run ALL DAY, IT JUST KEPT SAYING YOUR CALL IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US. So it can't be reached. Does corporate management know about this? Or do they even care? They have a large amount of customer reps in the Philippines which experienced a recent cyclone that took out a large part of the communications. OK so I understand that but where is the backup plan? Nowhere, Chase operates on thin ice and all the ice fisherman just drowned. Shame on you Chase Bank, you get a big zero rating. Now what am I going to do?

Unfair lending practices
December 20, 2021

Deliberately raise credit requirements so that the disabled can't get home loans. Tried to tell them that the VA would back the loan but still denied me because my credit wasn't just high enough even though my credit is in the low 600's.
