On the 6 of September, 2022 I orded 3 dresses from Catherines online. Received them on the 12th. I love my new dresses. They are perfect in size and fit. They are so soft. Love them! I'm sorry that others have had bad experiences with Catherines, however, for me, it was an awesome shopping experience.
These people are just awful. Recently they have decided to demand money from my 85 year old Mother that she does not owe them. Her account does not even indicate what they are demanding and we have the copies of the checks she sent these jerks for payment of anything we kept. They also fraudulently reported her to a credit bureau for crap she does not owe. Two women from Catherine's keep calling our house and demanding money like they are the mob or something in a very unprofessional and unfounded way. One creep will whisper to the other creep while they are on the phone. The quality of the clothing is crap. We returned about 95 percent of what we ordered and only kept two items. Please do not ever buy anything from these people. I think they are crazy or on serious drugs. You don't need the hassle or the crappy clothing. Thanks to them now we have to do a bunch of work to straighten out how they messed with Mom's credit. This business and the people in it deserve to fold.
Update for this: Catherine's decided to report my Mom to a debt collection agency for over $500 that my Mom did not owe them. I spoke with the collection agency who conducted a 90 day investigation into Catherine's. Catherine's is such a con that they could not provide any proof that my Mom owed any money. The debt collection agency dismissed the debt and sent a letter saying that my Mom is not responsible for the debt that crazy Catherine's tried to collect. I'm not sure if they reported this to the credit bureaus but we plan to dispute anything involving Catherine's and send them copies of the letter about the dismissal of the debt. It's hard to believe that Catherine's rode this lie and con game so far as if they believed it.
I used to love their stores. One line version... horrible. Worst customer service ever. Clothes are very cheaply made. Not the same quality they had in store. They come with seams not sewed, cheaper material, elastic bands crimped. Their return policy is crazy. You must pay $9.95 to ship back to them if you want a refund made to your original form of purchase. Customer service is rude. Look at the reviews on their Facebook page under community. Terrible company.
The sizes are all over the place, and the customer service is bullsh#t. I ordered 6 items, paid nearly $40 for shipping. Five of the items were ridiculously big. I had measured my waist, hips, and bust, and I studied the size charts for each item. I also read reviews to see if items ran small or big. The one item that was not huge on me (6-8 inches too big) was a pantsuit 2 sizes smaller than I usually wear (I read reviews that all Said It ran huge so I ordered 2 sizes smaller). Everything else I ordered was literally 6-8 inches too big. Clearly not as advertised.
But beware. You will be expected to pay for return shipping, on top of paying a lot for shipping of bad products to you in the first place.
I have spoken to 2 supervisors and will have to return the items at my cost to the one location in my town from which I can ship it (40 mins out of my busy schedule). Then I will have to confirm a refund to my Amex account, and then I will have to call Catherine's again to request (again) a refund of this shipping cost ($10.99)... to return items that were falsely advertised. Let me be clear... I don't give a flying *******@ck about ten dollars and 99 cents. However, I do care about businesses doing the right thing. And making me spend literally hours of my precious time to make sure that they do the right thing... and that they not get away with screwing their customers with false advertising and ridiculous shipping costs (hello, anyone heard of free 2-day shipping from Amazon?)... well, this is why I am warning potential customers. Please be clear: Catherine's clothing is absolute crap, and no one at Catherine's cares that it's crap. You have been warned.
Funny note: When I called Catherine's about this situation, the number I dialed (the number listed on their website) was identified by my phone as SCAM LIKELY. That's the damn truth.
I was a loyal Catherine's customer for many years. But this will be the last time I purchase anything from them. Their shipping process stinks & their customer service isn't any better. I still don't know how or if I will ever recieve my order. No real tracking... because the site says USPS & keeps adding days to expected day of delivery, then the automated phone says its coming by Fed ex which has been in limbo with no date to expect delivery. So I called customer service & I get no answers... Can't canceled, can't get my money back. All I can do is keep waiting. It is unacceptable that you can pay the shipping charges they ask for & have it take this long with no actual tracking... who knows if I will I ever get it. Never ever again will I order from Catherine's!
10 minutes after my order went through, I received pornography on my text messages, and a phone call from scammers telling me "my Amazon account someone purchased an iPhone 11, then she said 12, then 12pro. I've lived in the same state my entire life, but asked her which Amazon account was used, Anchorage, Houston or Miami, as all those cities were within 10 miles of me. She was so smug, and told me it was the Houston, Alaska account. So I told her to call the city office in Houston, Alaska and ask for the Deputy in Charge and he can help her.
Other than my account at Amazon and my Walmart subscription, no other business has my information.
I then called Catherine's customer service to get ahold of an IT person. I told the woman that answered I need to speak to the IT Dept and she stated "I only answer the calls for Catherine's orders, not Eighty Avenue. HUH? I asked her to please transfer me.
Next lady answered, I explained the situation and she says "I don't handle Walmart. I told her I used that as one of the 2 stores that have my phone number. She told me she wouldn't know where to send me. I asked her for the department that handles computer problems. She was so sure I was calling the wrong phone number, and that there is no store they work for that sells computers. I asked if she was in the US, she assured me she was, But she had no supervisor available, and when I asked about the static on the phone line, she stated that was the bosses listening in. I hung up, cancelled the order and reordered from a company I trust.
They suckker you in, charge $10.99 for a return and auto enroll you in a $14.99 bull$#*! reward program.
There products are garbage and a waste of time.
Not a viable online seller. Problems at ever step. Took 16 days for order to arrive. They gave it to USPS who held it for 5 days then gave it to FedEx ground who claimed to have unexpected weather delay of 3 days except tracking showed it was on a truck driving from Portland to Seattle, a 5 hour drive at a time it was clear and sunny. Ordered 4 items all way oversized and 1 item wasn't even what I ordered. Return hell was next. Wouldn't put it back on same card it was paid with, wouldn't ship the correct item, was told instant gift card credit if I took the item to one of their return stations. Credit never appeared so called and that was another lie now they say even though they have the item it will take a week for the credit. Meanwhile other items shrunk in length by 3 inches and are 4 inches bigger around than chart indicated. Now returning everything and never ordering from them or any of their group again.
I purchased a swim top which did not fit. I paid $20.13. I sopke with a rude customer service agent who explained to send it back would cost me a $10.99 handling fee plus the cost to ship it back. What a rip off! It was my first and only order from this company.
Don't waste your money with this company. Brought a $34.99 bra, terrible quality, off-sized by A LOT. It was supposed to arrive in about seven business days. It took two months to get the item. So, it costs $10.99 to ship and $10.99 to "process" the return of their crappy merchandise. That's $56.97 for an opportunity to purchase a poorly sized, very poor quality item. How they plan to stay in business with this business plan is beyond me. And to top it off, customer service is extremely rude.
I have shopped Catherine's for years. When I could go into the store, I always found something I liked. When they were bought out and closed the stores, I was hoping the Suprema items would remain available, which they have. However, and I was afraid this would happen, I just ordered another pair of Suprema shorts and they are not the same. I noticed right out of the package that the elastic waist was different. It is a little over a month later, and I'm just now getting around to wearing them. And, sadly, they not only have a different elastic waist, the whole fit is different. I have probably twenty other pairs that I wear all the time so I know the fit very well. I also have several Suprema capris and pants. I also agree with some of the other posts here about the ridiculous shipping fees and returns. I quit ordering anything but the Suprema because I knew the Suprema would fit but didn't want to take a chance on something else having to be returned. I had other issues with customer service and trying to order things. I guess I finally have to say goodbye to Catherine's. :(
I ordered on line after being told on the phone I would have clothes in 8 business days when I ordered then ordered and it was months before I would get them called called right then and canceled I told the pending charges would be taken off my card in 5 days called back 5 days later and was told 10 to 14 days it's been over a month and still they have not taken the pending charge off. I do not recommend this place to anyone and I'm calling the BBB and my attorney General I want my money back $#*! wipes
Worst experience ever. 10.99 to ship a 34.50 item, and 10.99 to return, bad customer service, waste of money and time. Go to Walmart and get the same items with free shipping and free returns. Not kidding!

I had an online coupon that would have allowed me to get 50% off a non sale item when I used my Catherine's credit card. The customer service representative tried to tell me that I'd have to spend my credit card first, then I could use my coupon. What? That's like going to the store, buying your item, then being able to use your coupon after the fact. The rep couldn't explain it to me how the coupon works. Then she tried to tell me that I couldn't use the coupon period because I didn't have enough credit. However, I had enough credit once the coupon code was applied. Then we were back to our circular argument. She would not let me speak to her supervisor. Bad customer service and false advertising with non functional coupons that overwhelm your email account. AVOID THEM!
I bought a dress, didn't like it and returned it. I have been charged ridiculous fees because I didn't make a payment on the credit card I took out! HELLO why would I pay on a dress I returned. The dress was about $119 with ridiculous shipping charges ($26). To get out of all this and cancel my account completely it cost me about $75! Late fee for payment I returned, fee for canceling account? Who does this! Just look elsewhere… you have been warned. Reporting them to The Better Business Bureau!
Be careful ordering from this vendor. They claim FedEx left a package at my address on a day I was home all day. No package was delivered. Now they will not refund my money without a police report. I feel they should have to track down the package, not penalize me.
I ordered for my wife full length girltesfor a medical condition here it is 3 to 4 months later they have yet to deliver and when I call they say I have to wait another month they totally suck not even one but I have to put it
Ordered the same lace tank. One in white one in black. Got 2 diff styles in my order White was what I ordered... black was a diff tank and 3 inches shorter
Should have a negative number to rate. I purchased several products and after 14 days of sitting at the FED Ex location, they said they could issue a refund. I didn't want a refund I wanted the product for a vacation. However, I could not use the 250.00+ already paid. I had to get a refund and wait for 5-7 days for it., Since I really needed the product I purchased again and was guaranteed 2- day delivery. I paid 41.98 and it did not arrive on time. All customer service said was it arrived on time and I'm sorry for any inconvenience. Seriously? Is a guarantee of 4/15/22 the same as when it arrived on 4/18/222? Their customer service is horrible and I will never order from them again and will tell everyone I can.
Answer: File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I had a problem with Catherine's overcharging me for shipping and couldn't get satisfaction. After I filed a claim with the BBB, I heard from Catherine's within 24 hours and they agreed to reimburse me..
