Very disappointed with this company. Ordered some liquor and thought it would be shipped in a reasonable amount of time but that did not happen. After 2 weeks called them and they said the order was not fulfilled yet and that I was not allowed to cancel it. This is ridiculous as the order wasn't even fulfilled or shipped. I asked when it would ship they said in 10 to 14 business days then an additional 7 business days to reach me. Do not deal with this company as there are many other shops who will get you the liquor faster.
I ordered an item on 1/6/22 and one 1/18/22 I had not received the order, so I reached out to their customer service. I got an answer a day later telling me that a "UPS shipping label had been created". Sadly, by 1/25/22, the label was the only thing that had been created and my order was still in limbo. I reached out again to customer service and was told my order would be shipped in 1 to 2 days, but was also sent the fine print on their shipping that says they can deliver an order within 30 days of purchase and still be in good standing? As of today, 1/29/22 the same UPS label has not been shipped and yes 23 being prioritized on 2 occasions. Hopefully I will get my order by 2/6/22, (30 days) or my refund. I will keep you posted! Obviously, I DO NOT recommend this company.
Will never deal with this company again. Ordered Whiskey in November as a christmas gift, never got it. Found and purchased cheaper. Got an email last week wanting to know if I would like to buy from a 3rd party $30 more. I replied no cancel my order. Got an email back saying I would get info on a refund in 3/5 days. That was Monday on Saturday the bottle arrived. I contacted them about a shipping label to send it back and was told that couldn't happen because it came from a 3rd party. I am so frustrated with the back and forth response about this whole situation. Now I've been charged $80 for a bottle of liquor I paid $25 for elsewhere. NOT A GOOD COMPANY, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Never agreed to purchase from a 3rd party.

I ordered Glenlivet 18 after seeing the picture and reading the description for the product. The older version label with and description of 43 ABV were both shown. After placing the order I followed up with an email stating that I DO NOT WANT the 40 ABV product. Customer Service responded, acknowledged that I ordered the 43 ABV version and proceeded to place the order. After weeks of delays what I got was exactly what I said I did not want, the 40 ABV version. I immediately contacted them and they are refusing to accept a return. I have disputed the charge with my bank. I am writing letters to BBB and to the State Attorney General for fraudulent business practices. AVOID THIS COMPANY! The are not reputable and will deceive, lie and then refuse a refund for an item that was not ordered.
I placed an order on December 13. My credit card was charged the next day. To date the order has never been delivered. I was provided lots of incorrect information and was not believed when I brought it to their attention. After weeks of ignoring me, their "customer service" decided the way to resolve their failure to provide my order was to change me $60.00 more. Cask Cartel's customer service consists of talking about customer service but not providing any customer service. They should be ashamed.
Buyer beware. They have a no-refund policy and will not ship your order on time. Many excuses, a waste of time to trade emails with them. There are much better sites out there, click past this one for sure and save the headache.
I see a lot of negative reviews, and was discouraged after my order was not fulfilled immediately. However it all worked out well, it was fine.
First let me say this, if you want booze now, go to a liquor store, use Instacart or just go to a bar.
This is my experience:
I ordered 4 bottles of Slingsby Gin, that is generally not available anywhere in the USA. It is not exported widely. I have been to Harrogate, and truly enjoyed these gins, and wanted to have them in my home for my mother's visit, as she is an older British woman, who loves her G&T.
I waited about 3.5 weeks and it showed up. Not cheap, not fast, but I got something that I cannot get anywhere that I know of, in America.
I contacted customer service after reading bad reviews, but they were all very nice and polite. Generally helpful, and gave me the information they could.
I would recommend Cask Cartel based on my experience of getting something that I really cannot get anywhere, and I sincerely thank them for getting this to me. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING THAT you cannot get easily, and can be a little patient, then it will work out.
Item still has not arrived and can not get customer service to respond. I also never received any tracking information!
I ordered 3 bottles of Bourbon from Cask Cartel, was charged for them and only received one. I raised issue with Cask Cartel customer service and provided information as well as pictures of incorrect order. I followed up email with call and actually spoke to customer service who said they were working on the issue. Cask Cartel replies on 3rd party to fulfill orders and don't have inventory of all or part of what is displayed on website. I requested update from them since we had 4 weeks to correct before Christmas. Of course credit card was fully charged. I am still waiting for an update from customer service. As of 12/26/2021
Ordered 12/7 and it is now 12/22 and my order hasn't been fulfilled. Of course they have 30 days until I can file a claim with PayPal so they're pushing it to the limit. Contact with the company is subpar as they appear to not be able to think outside of a canned response to actually assist.
I accidentally placed an order because I had two Websites open with similar products. I tried to cancel this order immediately, and they refused because of fine print that no order can be canceled or refunded. The order wasn't even being prepared yet. Forcing customers to spend over $500 on an order placed by mistake and that they try to correct immediately just isn't appropriate. There aren't plenty of other sites with much more customer friendly practices.
I purchased a bottle of very expensive rum for a Christmas gift and I have yet to receive it a month later my card has been charged 170.00 and I still do not have. Every time I try to contact I get the run around. Terrible customer service. Wish I had read these reviews before I placed my order.
They charge your credit card immediately yet their policy is to ship within a 30 day time frame. Cancelation is impossible once you order. In my case I sent several emails and phone calls explaining we were leaving on vacation and not to ship. They went ahead and shipped to arrive a day after I told them we were leaving. Beyond frustration. Be prepared to wait close to a month to get your order. You have no say in when it's delivered. Impossible to cancel other than to forfeit your money.
I placed and order back in October. It's been over a month and it still hasn't shipped yet. Even though their site says if orders don't ship by 30 days you get your money back, they just claim its being shipped. I got the notification that a shipping label was created and when it still stayed on that status for a week, they told me it was picked up by ups and not their fault it hadn't been scanned yet. So I had to reach out to ups who told me No this packed is still with the shipper and never was picked up. Now I'm back to being told the order isn't even fulfilled. So now I'm out my money and no one is willing to help me.
Cask cartel is absolutely the worst company I've ever dealt with! Ordered "in stock" items on 11/3, finally on 11/29 I get my order... kind of! Missing 1 major item and a 5 jar sampling set had 2 of the same bottle and 3 other random bottles that weren't in the description. They won't do anything about it and just told me it's at their discretion on what's in stock. What a joke of a company, I'll never order from them again and I suggest you do the same!
I ordered something in August and they don't anwser emails. I had to dispute with my credit card company back and forth. There are bad business people and then there are scum bags. These people are a cut below scum bags
I ordered a package delivered to a secure site, the driver signed a nonsensical signature and took the package and Cask Cartel refused to investigate or follow this up.
They had the gall to mention that I should have paid more money for package insurance, instead of perhaps working with a reputable delivery service.
Do not buy from this company. They misrepresented the price for a product. Cask Cartel offered a price for a case but when the order came through the sames price was charged for just one bottle. I requested a cancellation within 5 minutes of realizing that Cask Cartel misrepresented the price but even though the product had not shipped they refused to cancel the order. So don't trust them and don't buy from them.
I mistakenly placed an order for an incorrect product, and after immediately recognizing it, I requested to cancel shortly after placing it. With no concern for my satisfaction, a rep, named Skilyn, disrespectfully refused to consider my request. In contrast of a reputable merchant, Skilyn pointed to the fine print in their purchase agreement. Plus, their prices are super high compared to other online retailers.
Plus, their allowance is 30 days to receive a product after placing an order, so I would not trust them for any holiday orders. This is not a credible group and I regret attempting my order.
