Car Shield made my car repairs extremely simple! I just dropped off my car at my repair shop to diagnose my issues and that was literally it. The shop and Car Shield handled the rest. No calling to setup any claims or paperwork to file. Once my car was diagnosed, Car Shield called me telling me that my repairs were covered, minus the deductible and I just waited till the repairs were complete. This is something I will never go without moving forward with any vehicle I own.

The advertisement says free tow but I had to pay $120 in tow.They only pay 125 in tow so it is not a free tow that is false advertising.

I told Car Shield on 2/20/25 that I would go along with them ordering the Turbo for my 2014 Volkswagen and through their neglegence the part was ordered on 02/25/2025. The auto repair shop will not receive the part until 02/27/2025. The repair work is said to take 8- 10 hours. Now they want to say that my rental has to be returned by 07/27/2025 and I will have to pay for extra days when is it all their fault that my car is not done within the 7 day rental. Their lack of timely ordering the part is not my fault it totallying falls on them...

So my truck needed some work to be fixed so I had the shop call CarShield and everything was fixed pretty quickly and I also loved how my rep broke down everything so I wasn't feeling confused. Overall best service

I called to inform CarShield that my card had been used for fraud. I was told not to worry there are no late fees and to pay my bill when I got my new card. It takes about five days to get a new card. In those five days I received at least two phone calls a day from car shield about paying my bill. I'm never late, never missed, never not paid my bill. I called to deal with the situation before anyone called me.
I felt it was borderline harassment getting called everyday about something I already addressed.
It was annoying to say the least.

I was told to take my truck to a shop and that shop told me to get rid of the car sheild. He said they don't do business with car sheild. I went to another off of Car Sheild list and they didn't do business with them either. The last stop I went to said they were going to cut ties with Car Sheild and suggested I cancel my contract. When I tried to cancel my contract the first person took all of the info then said I had to talk to another person to finalize the cancellation. When I got transferred to the next person she asked what she could do for me. I told her I wanted to cancel my contract. I told her I had already told the first person why. I told her and she said that wasn't a good reason and I told her if none of the shops want to do business with them then I shouldn't be paying Car Sheild when the shops don't take it. She again told me that wasn't good enough reason and I told her that whether she thought it was a good reason or not I wanted to cancel and she started to tell me that I needed to explain why I was cancelling more. I told her to cancel the contract t I had already told her the reason and to cancel 3 times. That I wanted her boss or to cancel. She said rudely she was going to put me on hold. She came back on and said that she canceled the contract. She was angry and showed it by the way she talked and acted. I will never go back and advise others to stay away. The shops say they are hard to get approval for and they don't want to pay for the covered repairs.

What coverage covers more, what I'm paying for doesn't cover anything other than just the engine! I had an EVact light come on and was told it isn't covered and it's going to cost me almost $600 to get it fixed!

Have been with them for almost 5 years. Tried to use on 3 separate occasions but they would not cover any of the 3. I have called and tried to get a copy of my coverage that the rep sent but it will not pull up. The rep said she was mailing one also, but neither one have arrived

I thought I was doing the right thing purchasing this when my actual warranty ran out. They have covered ZERO of the things that have gone wrong. They claim they cover AC and the engine but they don't! Have had this coverage for 4 years. They don't cover turbos like they claim or even miss firing cylinders. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!
