Using Car Shield for the first time it was a fairly good experience from filing a claim to getting reimbursed for car rental.
Could not extend the car rental. Car rental is for 7 days, but the part sent by Car Shield was going to take 7 days to reach the mechanic shop.

My fuel pump had to be replaced and you authorized. 9 hours to access and remove the existing pump, replace and test the new one. 55 minutes! What a joke. The dealership and GSBP both quoted 2.5 hours labor and this rip off warranty authorized 55 minutes. Yeah I'm canceling this warranty if you hadn't figured that out yet.

I Have 2 policies with CarShield one for motor etc... and one for bottom cause I was told I was not covered for calipers, sway bar liners links, and control arms. I got that but when my mechanic office called the said I'm not covered, So they were going to find parts to fix it That Call was made when I brought my car in by tow, almost 2wks ago I have my loader for my scooter on back of the car, I'm in bind and upset it not fixed, WHY? I pay over $300 a month for yrs can you make it right I can't go to my appointments without my car which I must go to for my disability

I have a $100 deductible. I was also given a quote for a covered repair that has me spending $217 more than that. Seems the policy I have is not paying like it should.

Had a starter go out three weeks shy of my 90 day service contract. Wasn't aware the deductible was $1000. But the phone contacts were professional and sympathetic. Total cost to me at repair facility was $$950.

I have had this premium subscription for a year or more and this is my first claim and it was denied by car shield I have paid $139.00 per month and I'm not getting getting any compensation from this company so I'm going to just cancel my policy with them immediately.

I am not sure why my coverage ends after ******* miles. I also don't understand how my policy is paid in full although I'm thrilled.

My vehicle's transmission broke over 100 miles from home. Not being familiar with the area, I had it towed to Car Shield's closest "Shield Network" partner, AAMCO Transmission, Port Richey Florida. While all the repairs were "covered," I still had a bill of $746. $150 of this was my deductible. The rest of the bill was for "the difference" in what AAMCO charges, and what their "partner," Car shield, will pay. This was a two + week process back and forth between Auto shield, and the shop. I had no choice but to pay the difference. If AAMCO is a "partner," why am i being overcharged? I believe Carshield/ Autoshield is responsible to reimburse all except my deductible. When I went to pickup my vehicle, there was a Car shield advertisement display right in the middle of the customer counter. A big ole smiling Ice Tea and all the information about proudly partnering with AAMCO. While I am thankful that I had coverage, EVERYTHING they advertise says all you have to pay is a deductible. If I held to that, I wouldn't have been able to get my vehicle back. Interestingly, the transmission was just replaced in this vehicle (thru Carshield) last spring. It barely outlasted the 12 month warranty. AND the first time it was done, Carshield refused to cover related parts needing removed to get the transmission out. I paid around $400 + my deductible When they have your vehicle torn apart and its 1150 miles from home, I guess they can do this to you. I will also be writing to the company again.
