My engine was seized up. Never, ever leaked a drop of oil. I spilled some down the front of the engine while doing my last oil change. Carshield sent out some "mechanic" to the shop where my car was and his "review" was that all the oil had leaked out of the engine due to "oil leaks". Again, the car never leaked a drop in 5 years but they were looking for any reason to deny my claim. They want me to pay thousands for a teardown of the engine...and regardless of what they find, they will simply use the "excuse" of all the oil "leaked out" and it was my fault. Absurd and simply trying to scam the customer. The shop I brought it to is first rate and they warned me on day one that Carshield would try something like this! Beware!

My engine light came on so I called Car Shield they didn't cover it. I took my car to several repair shops and the BMW dealership and they don't take car shield. So I wasted $99.00 a month for 4 months and no one accepted Car Shield and don't think you're going to be reimbursed cause you're not
I was pleased with getting everything set up. Only thing I had a small issue with the mileage I reported was different from the mileage on the paperwork I received in the mail. I look forward for everything going smoothly in the future in the events I have to use Carshield.
Engine Replacement was not covered I am disabled and left without transport to appointments
So far, I haven't had to engage with CarShield. Hopefully, if I ever need CarShield, the experience will be one I welcome and will celebrate.

It was great customer service. It took forever for you to approve my claim but you finally did and I'm pleased overall.
Only had it for one month becuase i decided to get a new car and that in itself was a great opportunity not to have to buy a whole year or more at one time. I never got to put it to the test at a service dealer but i am confident it would have been fine! My wifes warranty is running out soon and we will definitley be contacting Car Shield!
Any information would be wasted. I follow the rules and regulations and last $4,000 based on technicalities. Enough said.
