We have several of our vehicles with Car Shield and every single claim has been handled with the most professional attention and fast responses. Most claims have been accepted and even those which did not qualify was due to our lack of understanding of the contract (not the 'fine-print')...

Car Shield's extended warranty service is a 'must' for those unexpected vehicle problems that can put a real crimp in your cash flow. The service is fair prompt when working with the repair shops. We have four vehicles under this warranty and it allows us to keep each of them in top running condition.
They were very willing to be helpful and made sure they did everything they could to make sure I didn't have to pay anymore the my deductible.

I brought my Tahoe to have work done on the front end. They had to replace control arms and ball joints. The shop quoted 8 hrs but Car Shield would only pay 4 hours, eventhough the labor rate was 8 hours per the book that is a universal pricing that ALL mechanics go by. I had to pay 400.00 plus the 100.00 deductible to have this done. I think it was very unfair that I pay for a warranty with a 100.00 deductible and end up paying 500.00 more to get my car back. I called Car Shield and they say said that's the rate Car Shield set. 👎👎. Boo for Car Shield.
I suppose to have good coverage with my policy if I'm broke down over 100 miles from home with hotel and car rental and meals.I have faxed copies of all my receipts in 3 different times and they claim that they have not received them yet. Also I broke down on a Sunday and couldn't find no service center until the following Wednesday because Monday was a holiday, Tuesday they had a ice storm and no one was open. So on Wednesday finally got to a shop, they couldn't Diagnose my truck until Friday the day they filled a claim. Then it was the next Wednesday before I was fixed so the point behind all this was I had more days stuck in a hotel that was not my fault waiting on getting my truck fixed. I think car shield should take evey case by case. I also call into them every day and was keeping them posted on what was going on, they told me to save my receipts and seed them in.so I have done what they ask.still waiting for car shield to get back to me and let me know how much they plan on helping me with.
They was quick to get the truck to the shop and get it fixed. Took the truck to dealership with no problem

The experience was a good one. The tranny went on my 2016 Chevy and they replaced. The whole transaction took 5 day from start to finish.
I haven't used it but the customer service was great... if I do happen to ever need to use it I hope they will pay for everything with no problems.
Car shield was fast to approve the work on my truck at Christian Brothers Automotive and they were quick to get the repair done to my truck.
My bank account was compromised and had to be closed. I had to wait almost 2 weeks to get the information for the new account. Carshield was very patient while waiting for their payment.
To date I have not used My Car Scheild Policy, My car in still in the shop for its radio replacement I understand the Service department has an approval from Car Shield to cover the total cost of the radio and the installation. I will drop another comment when the job is complete, Great So Far!
