Car shield was fine but the dealership would not meet the labor allowance impose by car shield. The result was that I would have to pay $700 out of pocket to get the repair done. So I have a claim approved by car shield so I am still shopping for repair shop on car shields list of vendor that can do the repairs for less labor

Carshield worked with my mechanic and covered almost all the cost to repair my rear axle. I am glad I had them to assist with the charge. They were all helpful and friendly.

Car shield came through in the end. A month or so earlier I needed a fuel pump and an after market pump was sent to be installed. This pump last also 2 months. Car shield ended up sending 2 more pumps and they also failed. I thought they were going to send a 4th after market fuel pumps and I would have to pay a deductible.
Car shield authorized Chevy to install their fuel pump and I did not have to pay a deductible.

When I experienced trouble with my car, I got a Dianostic check from my routine servicer. It was determined it needed extensive work. I contacted CarShield and coverage was determined. They located a service provider. Work was done in a timely manner. Servicer was very friendly and the work handled very professionally.

I have been a long time paying customer of car shield for four years. Before Christmas, my engine started to smoke. So I took my car to the Place I get my oil changed. They advised me to go to a dealer. I took my car to a very trusted jeep dealership, Where my Jeep sat for three days. The first day I dropped my Jeep off and they looked at it. They got back to me that night. And said that this can be fixed within a day. We just have to wait for car shield to get back to us so we can start fixing your car. Two days later, my car was still sitting there. I desperately needed my Jeep back because my family was coming over for Christmas dinner. I had to pick some of them up for the holidays so I need my Jeep back. I had no other choice, but to pay the Jeep dealership. The money out of pocket. When all was said and done on December 26. I reached out to car shield and asked what happened. They claimed they never reached out that the Jeep dealership was trying to scam me. I worked at this jeep dealership with a friend of mine washing cars, and then one of the back bays and this jeep dealership has been in the community since I was a kid. Why would they wanna put one of their customers through a scam? So I decided to wait until after the New Year's. Because I was waiting for somebody to get back to me on my claim. So this evening I called car shield to try to figure something out and they had no claim on the phone call on the 26th when I have emails stating how was your phone call with car shields. I do find this to be more and more typical of insurance companies, not wanting to pay out claims. It is a very sad day when you are a consistent paying customer and you are dependent on this company and you're reaching in your pocket every month pulling out $100 to give to them knowing that your car is covered now three days after Christmas I had to come up with a bill of almost $1800 Which financially broke my bank with little money I saved up is now gone.

Don't have receipt in front of me right now but I had a problem with my dodge Ram so I took it to a Dodge dealership and the work was done and CarDhield footed the bill besides whatever oo pay.

I requested a quote this morning and unfortunately I received a call back right when I pulled up to work. I answered the phone to try to just get a quick quote as I wanted to shop around a bit before deciding on coverage. My representative Christopher gave me a good quote for the DIAMOND level coverage but I just had to go and clock in to work. I told him I had to call back a little later since my boss was calling me. He didn't like that answer and just kept asking for my credit card number. I kept repeating that I had to go but that I would call back later. He continued to tell me the same thing that it would take two minutes to finish and he just needed payment. After going back and forth about 5-10 times I hung up because, as I said, I needed to clock in. He then promptly left me a voicemail saying that my car is actually DENIED coverage because it's 10 years old and we lost connection. Childish behavior. All I wanted was a quote.
