I was online looking for exhaust parts for a 1991 Honda Prelude. The exhuast system had rusted off after the catalytic converter. Just searching online I found many parts but not a straight answer to what I needed. Carid.com had the system and all the parts needed for my fix at a pretty darn good price. Plus detailed schematic for this year of vehicle. Noelle helped me find the right parts, hangers and pieces I needed to save up for to complete the job. I have recommended this site to everyone that I know that wrenches on the weekends!
Ordered 2 CV axles for my Volvo via phone. Ordered by phone to confirm availability and delivery date. Delivery was promised in 3 days. Actual delivery was 14 days. The car sat disassembled and unusable the 14 days. Was promised free shipping on core exchange. They did not send return labels with the order. Called them and it took 3 days to get the label. There were 2 boxes and they only provided 1 label and refused to supply a label for the second box. Can't wait to see how they screw up the credit card refund.
Carid sold me running boards that do not fit my 2016 Ram 2500. The brackets conflict with the camper tie downs they sold me in the same order, though I asked specifically if they would work together. They even sold me a different tie down to be compatible. When the brackets didn't fit, they had me try again and take pictures. I did this. I spent hours trying to get through on the phone and gave up after three hang ups and two hours on the phone. Now they say, the parts have been installed and cannot be returned, when the parts do not fit and cannot be installed. I would never recommend this company and will never use them again.

After a month I was told that the supplier would ship out the missing parts from my order and send me shipping confirmation. Nothing happened. After more weeks and phone calls, carid wants me to ship back the original order which is not their stated return policy for defective orders received. They are supposed to send me out a replacement order and send me a return shipping label. Lies! Their customer service staff does not understand their own company policies. Over a month now and this order is still not resolved.

CarId is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are crooks who sell used, broken, parts as new, and parts that don't fit. They then refuse to issue an RMA within 24-48 hours as their Return policy states. They will ask you for photos of "proof" over and over again over a span of weeks. They will hang up on yet, claim they never got your email, claim they didn't receive email attachments, claim they can't click on a link in an email, etc. Either they are extremely stupid, or they are purposefully following a script of deliberate delays; my guess is it is both. They pass off your case to a new employee every day.
I ordered a set of car seat covers for my Mazda MX-3 from CarId.com
On 9/17/2016 we tried to install them on my car seats, where we discovered that some of the car seat cover buckles were broken and that they did not fit my seat, even though the CarId website said it would fit my car. Since the buckles were broken, it appears that I received a used / previously returned item.
On 9/19/2016 I contacted CarId about a refund. As of today, 9/28/2016, they refuse to issue me a RMA# and return instructions so I can receive a refund of $114.72. I have called them 3 times, online chatted with them 2 times, and sent 15 emails. Still no RMA and no return instructions, and no refund. They insisted on receiving photos of the covers and the broken buckles, which I have now sent 4 times and my car's VIN. In addition, they want photos of the interior of my car, which I have sent them 3 times.
So far I have dealt with * none of whom have done anything but play dumb.
I filed a complaint about CarId.com with my credit card, filed a fraud case with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, at https://www20.state.nj.us/LPSCA_COMPL/, and am looking into various legal options.

I'm very disappointed with my luxury customed cargo liner for dogs. It doesn't fit and slides on the trunk floor. My old model for 1/20th of the price was better!
