Odered a set of "replacement" stainless steel chrome finish mirror covers
And got a set of tacky chrome painted plastic covers with 3m tape on the back that stick on top of the oem mirror covers instead. Carid's website stated that the covers would replace (original part)
When cleary a tacky piece of plastic that covers the back of the mirror with 3m tape on is not a replacement part. As bad as it was i dident want to go through the hassle of shipping the item back, so i proceded to try out the item on the car to see if it would atleast look decent, turns out they dont quite sit on the mirror housing correctly
They have a nasty overhang along the top
And there is open space around the lip on the trim piece. This will be the first and last purchase i ever make from car id. What an absoloute dissapointmemt.
I just wanted to buy a wheel bearing, get in and out of the site fast. For some reason, the bearing wouldn't go into the cart. I clicked on Chat and got Bryan. By that time, I was feeling a little testy. Immediately after reading my brief, badly typed explanation, Bryan sent me a link to my cart with the bearing already in it. Problem solved.
The negative reviews here are completely inconsistent with my experience of CARiD. So far, I've bought a catalytic converter and gasket as well as this wheel bearing from them. In all instances I had occasion to interact with customer reps, and on all occasions my needs were met. Also, all three items were shipped either the very day I ordered them, or the day after.

In my business I encounter numerous individuals of questionable competency levels on a daily basis. However, CARiD has managed to reach new heights of incompetence, far surpassing anyone I have previously had the displeasure of dealing with. After a month of battling to get my item shipped to me - involving daily phone calls to ignorant customer service representatives - I had to cancel my order and demand a full refund when I was told that shipping had again been cancelled for unknown reasons. A week prior a customer service representative said I needed to pay additional shipping fees of almost $200, which I paid, to finally ensure that my item would ship. Of course, that did not happen. This is without a doubt the worst customer service that I have ever encountered. Even if I ended up receiving my item I would feel this way. It baffles me that this company manages to survive after what I went through, as there is no way in hell I am the only customer who has encountered this extreme level of disorganization and mismanagement. Do NOT waste your money by attempting to do business with this company. I promise that trying to complete a transaction with CARiD will feel like an elaborate scam to cheat you, as it will astound you that so many individuals are genuinely unqualified to do their jobs.

I Google searched for both PCV elbows for my 1981 Riviera. I work at a Transmission shop in Columbus, Ohio. I called our suppliers (Advance Auto Parts and Auto Zone) I asked them to look up those two PCV elbows for me, they acted like I asked for their first born child. The Google search brought up CARiD and I searched their site and found a group of PCV elbows where I saw the two I needed, but couldn't get separate part #'s for them. I clicked on live chat, not 1 minute late Laura found them for me, and I bought them. Less than 5 minutes I had found them and bought them. Advance Auto parts had me on hold for more than 5 minutes.
I received a email back from Carid.com in response to my problem of them shipping me damaged product despite two earlier statements from them that the would correct their problem now they are offering me 50.00 to go away I spent more than that to them for their incompetent shipping and handling I guess they think this is over but actually. It was 11:20 PM and I was searching accessories for my new 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee... namely running boards as I am height challenged! That annoying "chat girl" came up on the CARiD website... so for a little humor, I engaged dialogue. To my pleasant surprise, AMANDA was extremely helpful and courteous --requesting permission to take time to do some research on my behalf -- regarding availability, shipping estimate, paint/appearance, even following up by e-mail with a prepared order based on our discussion. I placed the order immediately after we signed off. Aside from securing an order for her company, Amanda changed my opinion of those annoying chat boxes. Thanks Amanda!
Customer service did not help one bit when they delayed my shipment just in time to miss Christmas (when i ordered and it was guaranteed to arrive before Christmas). Went to cancel my order as soon as i received and email saying that my package was delayed, put in my cancel request but instead... THEY SHIPPED ME THE ITEM ANYWAY! So the product is now expected to be here any day now ( Days after Christmas); however, I will not be given a return until they receive the product that I have to ship back. If they just held the product and refunded me, I would be much happier. Instead, they sent me the product anyway, thus delaying my refund more than 2 WEEKS! Very frustrating and very unsatisfied with how this situation was handled / dealt with. I had a different customer service agents contact me multiple times but it seemed that none of them communicated with each other or were able to do anything to remedy the situation. I will not be using Carid in the future and urge others to be cautious about ordering from here as well. BAD EXPERIENCE.

I purchased these bulbs as they were specifically recommended to work in my 2015 BMW 328i x-drive. While I loved the brightness and coloring of the LEDs, one of the bulbs flickered when the vehicle was first turned on and produced an error message on my dashboard (the other bulb worked perfectly). I contacted CARiD several times regarding the problem. They requested I send a short movie clip of the flickering and a photo of the error message on the dash to document the problem. They sent me new decoders, which didn't solve the problem, and when nothing they suggested worked, they finally told me there was no fix and that I should return the bulbs for a refund. However, the refund document they sent me states: "All products included in this return are in their original packaging, contain no damage, and have not been installed." As I had obviously installed the bulbs (how else would I know they flickered and caused an error message), I am not eligible for a refund. Instead, they offered me a $20 gift certificate toward a future purchase - as if I'd do business with them in the future.
UPDATE: Today I installed a set of $49.95 Sirius LEDs I purchased from Amazon (which would issue a refund if the bulbs didn't work). They work flawlessly - no flickering, no error messages. Obviously, the overpriced Lumen bulbs were the problem, and Carid won't stand behind their defective product.

I called in and immediately was greeted with great customer service, I have previously just called three other companies and neither of them were able to help the way axel did and for that I would have to give up to CARID. I will have you know that I would be buying my parts here from now on and send the rest of my buddies your way
Amazing customer service, he too kthe time to make sure my parts were correct for my application. Connor was also very polite and friendly wish some other places had personel like this.
We needed floor mats for our new car. We had always used weather tech, however this time they were not helpful at all. After investigating the internet for other companies, I found Carid. The representative on the phone(Mark)was great. He was helpful and friendly.
Ryan took the time to help me find the correct lights for my order, unfortunately you didn't have what I needed for the type of car I have, but Ryan took time to talk to me and didn't rush me like other sites.
My husband and I called to get some information on a product and was helped by Jorgio. Not only did he answer our questions but placed our order for us and was able to give us a discount on shipping. Would not have any hesitations on purchasing from this company in the future!
