I've ordered a lot of merchandise online over the years some good experiences and some horrible ones, but with carid never a problem whether submitted on line or by phone, very knowledgeable staff. My most recent I bout a gift for someone and they ended up purchasing a new vehicle in which the items was never used still in the shipping boxes never opened. We where into a month and some days when I called to make a swap and was told that I had passed the return time but they would check with the company to see if there were another option and surprisingly they where able to make the swap. I will use the for my automotive needs
I took the time to look for the lights I wanted and called and they walked me through more detail about the product and helped me choose exactly what I needed. High quality products too
Bottom Line -- I don't support any company that claims to price match, and then changes the policy on the fly if they feel the price is too low. If you make the claim, stand by your claim, even if it means it is below cost!
Do they have price match? Yes, but only if they want to. If you find a price too low, they give up and say they cannot go any lower. Depends on which rep you talk to on what price they will match. Amazon has cheaper prices in their marketplace stores, which are backed by Amazon guarantees. There are so many inconsistencies with CARID and its policies. One rep will tell you they will match Amazon, while the next rep will say it is a membership based website so they don't price match. You don't have to be a PRIME member to get Amazon prices, so that excuse was just their way of saying we cant match the price.
I ordered some items and had to return one that I do not need anymore.

I was needing to get two new tires and my size is very hard to find. The tires I am using now are not sold anymore. I had no idea on the other names of tires so being unsure and looking around I was lucky enough to go to CARiD and talk to Frank. He was wonderful he talked with me and told me a lot of information and when I looked on line to double check he was correct. He seemed to really understand me and when I told him kind of what I was doing he actually got it so well that he could tell me what I was doing before I could so I knew that his info was spot on. He also worked with me on the shipping and getting me in on a sale before it went up. He sent me an email so that I could finish my order. The only reason I would give four stars was because when he sent me more info he wrote down the wrong year on my car but that did not cause a problem this time because it was tires. But for this review it is five.
Talked to Eric about front emblem of my corvette. He went out of his way to answer my questions and provide me with the most information in a prompt and timely manner. Will definitely order again.
We have been burned 3 times now using this company. 3 strikes and now they are out. The last problem is a headlamp purchased from Carid.com which developed moisture infiltration after a couple months. It took the customer a month to bring to us for inspection because he goes to school in another city far from here. Now Carid.com will not replace their junk part. Pay a little more and get your parts somewhere else. It will save you in the long run. Another employee bought LED headlamp bulbs from them and they quit working after a month and a half. Carid.com will do nothing for him, so he has a 2015 GMC Sierra he cannot drive until he finds lamps from another supplier. All the money sent to Carid.com could have been burned or flushed and we would all have been further ahead. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have purchased many items at carid, great prices and great selection. I had a problem with my oracle side markers and I called carid. I spoke with Wowie and she was very helpful and she quickly got the ball rolling to see if I can exchange them because the item has a two year warranty. Wowie was great.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I didn't like the wheels I ordered, no return. They had not been mounted and 3 of the 4 boxes were unopened. The remain in perfect shape.
Ordering over the phone was great. I guess anyone can take orders, but when it comes to supporting their customers - horrible.

I order at least once a month from CarID and they always come through for me. They stand behind the products and are helpful, even after the sale.
I placed an order on December 15 and according to there website my it is supposed to ship on January 30. On January 31 it still did not ship. I called and after being placed on hold for 10 minutes I was told they expect it to arrive at the warehouse tomorrow and will ship by the end of the week. Absolutely ridiculous. I will wait till the end of the week and if it has not shipped I will cancel my order. I will never buy anything from carid again.

The customer service people have all been really nice and have tried to be helpful. To start, they have price matched for me and have also given free delivery as a match as well. Still waiting for the items to be shipped and am hoping to get what I am expecting.
For the bad... I ordered tires that I was told were in stock and then got a run around for a week until they finally told me they were on back order. The refund was easy enough though.
I will continue to try the site for now as overall experience has been fine.
I'm driving a Ford Explorer XLT 2015 and noticed that my lights seem dull during heavy rain. I made a research thru website and was able connect with CARiD. I was able to speak to an agent by the name of Axel, who was very supportive & knowledgeable to my concern and recommended an LED conversion kit for my headlights and foglights. Ordered running boards on January 14, waited until January 22, contacted Carid told me they were schemed to ship on January 27,2017, contacted then again on the 27th, was told they were being made and it would be another three weeks for them to receive them. More for me to get them.
Why didn't these jerks let me know when I ordered the running boards that they were out of stock, they have my money I've got nothing but bull$#*!. And now have to start from square one.
This company is all glitz and polish with nothing to offer its potential coustomers.
