I had a horrible experience, I purchased the dash kit and was very disappointed with how the product looked. Be sure if you are unhappy with a product that you don't go a day over the 30 day mark to return, because I am now stuck with a product I won't even use and am out a lot of money!

Absolute Garbage

Editing a previous review. What I thought was going to be a good experience turned into quite the opposite. Stay away from these guys unless you like spending hours on the phone trying to find out where your product is at. They will not allow you to cancel either.

I ordered a front and back bumper from carid(not cheap!) I got them a week later! Awesome right? Well they sent me 2 left brackets for the front bumper. So I call and let them know I need a right one. That was over a month ago! I'm pissed at this point. I literally call & email them everyday and for over a MONTH they say yes it will be shipped in 24-48 business hours. 36 days later and I'm still driving without a front bumper(which is illegal), got a fix it ticket... my old one I scrapped so I can't even put it back on. Never EVER buying anything from this place again. Neither should you!

Bought in channel wind deflectors for my truck, had a mechanic install them properly because wanted it done right. In channels didn't fit properly so I tried to exchange them for tape on. Spent 20 minutes on hold, then spoke with someone who put me on hold for 10 more minutes. Was told I didn't install them properly and an exchange wasn't possible. Needless to say this was my first and last time using car id

Overall CarID is a great organization. Frank, the worker that was assigned to my call was very helpful and respectful. It wasn't hard to contact anyone, and I didn't have to wait long at all. I will for sure order from this website again once I need something else.

Very unhappy with my first experience with CarID, ordered 2017 Dodge Ram black running boards and I ended up receiving chrome running boards for a 2015 Toyota Highlander. When I called in I was told that the supplier mixed up mine and sent it to someone in Ottawa, Canada and I received theirs. I was told I would get a call back, one week later I called (today) and I spent over an hour back and forth with customer service only to finally speak to a manager which brushed me off by telling me that I would recieve a $35 USD Refund to pay towards the Canadian customs that I had to pay on an order that wasn't even mine. Maria told me to keep the Toyota Highlander running boards and that mine were going to be shipped out tomorrow. I was promised a $25 carid gift card earlier but when I told Maria that I wanted both she rudely told me it was one or the other. I later then received an email from Maria stating that in order to get my running boards I would have to destroy the Toyota Highlander ones and send a picture to prove that I did before I can receive my Dodge Ram running boards. Very unprofessional, very poor customer service, I asked for a complete refund as I want to shop elsewhere and they still said I would still have to send them proof that I destroyed the highlander running boards, they would not insure me if I were to get injured trying to destroy these metal bars so I do not feel comfortable doing that. Their supplier messed up, yet I have to pay double Canadian customs and I have to wait Months before I receive the proper running boards for my truck. I hope Paypal can help me with this one. Worst experience in my life, Never will shop here again, you can shove that $25 CarId gift card up your@$! Maria!

I had been trying to find a set of side steps for my 78 Bronco, could not find them anywhere. Contacted Carid and spoke with Jarred and to my surprise they had what I was needing. Jarred was great. I'm still waiting 3 months for a refund I have them all the things they need there are blind or on drugs they can't see what I'm sending so I can get a refund don't apologize to me and others when you keep messing up that's not an excuse fore the people who work for you they taking down your company someone messing it up cause I'm not the only customer that had issues with your company before your heading the wrong way and the wrong person you have landed on I'm your nightmare as much as your mines all I want is my refund I'm paying for a defected item they won't send me a return label I repeatedly asked and they won't take it back cause it's garbage if it wasn't a company stands behind there brand items and would take it back but since you know it's garbage you want me to pay for it well I will come give you a visit if that's how it will end up. You can go pray Jesus can't help you. You don't treat customers who pay for there items not to be received defected that's wrong and to had to pay to install a defected item and you apologize give me back the money I payed to install and then remove a defected item and my full refund. If you want these reviews down I better get my refund plus the money cost me to install that defected item otherwise your no good business goodbye soon your a at home intake order and ships from manufacturers and you don't want to take a lose but you make your customers take a lose for a item u pay wholesale on top of it bunch of addicts smoking your crack in New Jersey

I had an issue with an ebay order where I could not order more than 1 unit and I needed 8. I clicked confirm and BOOM, order was placed for 1. I knew timing was an issue, so I immediately called CARid customer service (was on hold for 30 min) and Raquel answered the call. She did an outstanding job of finding my recent order (not easy since it was an ebay order) and changing it to 8 items. Thanks Raquel!

I purchased some headlight assemblies last month and received them about 10 days ago. They were not the same assembly I ordered nor do they match the part the email stated I purchased. I have been asking for a return the last 10 days and have not been allowed to. They take up to 72hrs to respond so I am now 4 replies deep with customer service working with their technician to figure out why the headlights are the wrong ones. Honestly I don't care why they don't fit my car, they're not the ones I purchased. If I am still denied a return today I will have to contact my credit card and pray they will delete the charge from this bull$#*! company. Don't put faith in their reviews or if you contact them prior to purchasing and are assured they are the correct assembly for your car

I Called And Jorgio Answered The Phone. I Told Him What I Was Looking For. Jorgio Then Gave Me Three Options, From The Top Price To The Bottom Price. I Asked Him What The Diffrence Was Between The Three And He Answered All Three Qwestions. I Will Order From This Company In The Future With No Problym At All.

These guys suck. Corporate run around and no one wants to help the people buying stuff from them. They didn't have my part even though their website said they did and literally threw another set of leaf springs and shipped it to me. After 2 hours on the phone with these A-holes they tried to say they did me a favor by giving me higher lift springs. I guess the $1000 dollars or so of extra parts i'd have to buy to use them don't come into effect in their $#*!ed minds. It took over a month to get something that worked and they charged me for the more expensive springs still. Total $#*! holes. Never again.

My initial contact with carid I was very optimistic I had found a decent site to deal with. I should have known something was up when I originally found them through google and then when I contacted them they said they could do a better deal if I went direct to their site. I ordered a set of rotors and pads. Pretty simple. Told them my timing was the critical factor and if they could not perform in my time frame just tell me. Well the contact told me no problem they would ship immediately and I would have Friday at the latest. BOTTOM line is they lie and tell you what you want to hear instead of being honest because all they want to do is make the sale. Once your committed they don't care. Based on tracking they will be at least 4-5 days late. I want a site that I can trust. Choose another online vendor there are plenty to pick from.
