So i had called and ordered my sensor for my car they told me they had it in stock and that it would ship in 2-3 days and it would take 3-4 days to arrive. I called the next day for a tracking number and found out that the part was not only not in stock but that it was on back order and it would be shipped for over a month. I asked why they didnt even bother calling to inform me and they said they didnt know. They didnt offer any discounts or compinsation till i asked and they said they would give me a 3.00 discount and a 15.00 gift card. No actually refund. The shipping was 10.00 so it didnt eben cover shipping. Horrible business. All the customer service reps were great though. Im not gonna blame them for a $#*!ty company. Im never order from them again.

I ordered headers from CARiD and when I unpacked them I noticed one header is made wrong and would not mount to my truck, very poorly made. I am now on my 2nd week of trying to get defective parts shipped back, evidently now I'm waiting on elusive shipping labels that have not arrived in my email after a week. Customer service is very poor, quality from what I can see is very poor also. I will not be buying from them again.

Spoke with Monica on a recent purchase, not only was she courteous but very professional.The purchase when smooth but one of the item was on backorder.
I originally ordered a wheel and tire package from them, before purchasing I asked will I get them by a certain day since they were "special order" of course they said yes. Little did I know they would change that date 2 times and miss the day I wanted them by 3 weeks. So I cancelled my order and found a different product that was "in stock" and would ship in 3-5 days. It has been 5 days and still no shipping confirmation. Moral of my experience with car id is poor customer service and the slowest processing and shipping around.
Spoke with Nicholas and Danielle during 2 different phone called. Both were courteous and provided the needed information to make my purchasing decision.
Order front and rear brake EBC kits. Have been told that both kits in stock at the time of order, got first kit within 4 days and the second kit a week later (two day shipping was offered when placed order). Upon arrival of second kit, noticed missing parts. Calling to carid customer service and been on waiting for an almost an hour. Totally unacceptable. Avoid this company, get your car parts somewhere else.
Ordered part told shipping date havent recieved item. Called customer service CARid told me it was not there problem... will not order nothing from them again...

It's all a hoax. They try and boost their rating and sales and completely ignore their customer service. Avoid CarId at costs. Poor quality, poor customer service, poor everything.

Slow response. False hours posted on website. Chat is defunct.
Returns charge a return shipping fee PLUS a cost for EACH item return that exceeds any brick and mortar store's 15% restocking fee.
This company EDI's like crazy. EVERYTHING is literally drop-shipped and RMA requires authorization from the actual manufacturer.
This site is ghetto and nickel and dimes.
Add to this, the nonsense of their avoiding responsibility by simply stating "it states the size of the bulb on our website" is a cop out. Yeah, they state it's 1.7" long but I ask this, WTF did your lame-$#*! company not simply say "compatible with" or "not compatible with"?
Let me do Carid's job for them... Plazma license plate bulbs at 1.7" long are NOT COMPATIBLE with 2014 Chevy Impala LTZ. I'm guessing not with 2015 or 2016 either.
Lesson learned man! NEVER nickel and dime your customers. While this site has a LOT of positive reviews, they also have a $#*!load of negs plus a lot of pissed consumers... including myself. Too many negs for anyone with half a brain to actually read my review and NOT visit Carid.
I will say though, they have an extensive collection so if you really can't find something and Carid is the only one that does, it's understandable most will purchase from them. Just be wary and make sure you want what you want cause returns are higher priced than the purchase... which is highly ghetto!
Never will buy from Carid again. Not worth the hassle, PLUS, Amazon had bulbs for 1/3rd the price and I got 6.

I recently placed an order for a UVS100 Sunshade for my Lexus LS460, but due to an error on my part I didn't notify CARID of the rearview camera on my windshield. Unfortunately my order was cancelled and I am receiving a full refund to my account, but Alison made sure that I was notified that the order was cancelled and that my account was being refunded.
Alison was very prompt in informing me about the situation and I was very impressed that she actually informed me so quickly. Although I didn't get what I wanted from CARID, because of the service Alison gave me I am sure I will be back to purchase items from this company and I will inform my friends and family about CARID.
