I received a email that my order shipped. I called after 5 days and it never actually shipped. They said it would ship that day. It didn't ship for another 2 days which put it over a weekend and made the shipping go from 5 days to 7. I buy Jeep accessories all the time and I now go somewhere else.

The salesperson that helped me initially was excellent, but itt was all downhill from there. I purchased an expensive truck rack from these people that took an extensive amount of assembly, 3 to 4 hours. When I took the last piece out of the box, it had a big dent that was quite visible. I called them to let them know and they stated that I would have to disassemble the entire thing and mail it back. So now I would have to spend another half day with disassembly and go to the trouble of shipping it back. When I asked why they couldn't just send the one dented piece, they (all three of the people I spoke with) stated that their return policy required that I send the whole thing back. They gave me double talk about how they had to determine if it was a problem with my installation. I told them that I saw that it was damaged when I removed it from the box and had not yet been installed. And if I wanted to talk to a supervisor, I would have to wait 24-48 hours, but since this was a Friday, I would probably have to wait until the middle of the following week. If it took me 4 hours to assemble, and 4 hours to disassemble, and another four hours to assemble the new replacement rack, I would be two days into this rack. I told them that if they had told me they were selling me used or damaged goods, I would have expected a substantial discount. The final woman I spoke to was very rude. Don't they know how one bad review can really mess up their bottom line. Never again wth this company. They will be out of business soon I believe with that kind of customer service.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. All they are is a middle man scam. If and when you have any issue with your order, you are at the mercy of waiting for not one, but two different companies to resolve it. This results in the blame game, and a lot of runaround. I've heard give us 24-48 hours so many times now. The company that shipped my items sent me the entirely wrong thing once, and part of the correct item the second time. This part of the process spanned a month. The item was needed for a beach home, and I didn't have a couple of months to wait to maybe get the right thing the third time around. Incompetence at it's finest. It's been over three weeks now since I first made contact with them about returning the second item, and they still haven't sent me a return shipping label. I'm calling back tomorrow because their one employee claims he will personally call the company and find out what's going on. If that doesn't go well, I'm calling my credit card company next to see if I can file a charge back. I will also report this company to the BBB. You can not send a customer the wrong thing, or just part of the right thing, and then not give them their money back!

WORST Experience EVER!
I ordered a part from CARID, never got the order in time, I had to cancel and refuse the order. CARID CHARGED ME $158. Recka the "supervisor" hung up on me and told me he wouldn't let me speak with a supervisor!

Purchased custom made Dub Tremlo for my Lexus and was told it would take 8 weeks to be made. A week before they are supposed to be done they send me an email informing me it will take 2 more months. Is this a scam? I paid $3500 and I was told there are no returns. I reported CarID to the better business bureau. Somethings wrong here.

Total incompetence, lost paperwork for returns and blamed every issue on management, accounting, vendors, shipper etc. tons of emails delaying action.
2 of 3 items didn't fit. What happened to your 100% fitment guarantee?
6 weeks later no action. Now I have a PayPal claim against them.
Never again will I deal with them and it's too bad since their pricing is good and in the past things were smooth. Granted they sold what the mfg claims would fit, but they need to argue the case with the supplier and not force the customer to wait while they take their time figuring it out.

The only excuse or reason I can come up with why my problem has not been handled, is that Carid has no intention of doing the right thing and correcting their error. I have gotten probably 4 or more of these "give us 24-48 hours to check on the situation, and we will get back to you". It's been 7 days since they were contacted about my wheels not fitting, and still nothing has been done to solve their mistake. I have turned this matter over to my credit card company in hopes they can help. I also intend to contact the New Jersey attorney generals off to file a complaint as to CARiD's less than stellar business practices. And I will also seek out as many places, forums and reviews to inform others in the hope they will avoid this company!
I purchased 4 Niche wheels for my Camaro. While taking one of the wheels from the box, my tire guy noticed that the chrome was peeling off one wheel. I immediately contacted Carid, and was sent an email with directions on how to return the defective wheel. I took all the requested pictures and sent them in. No response within the 24-72 hour period that was required to process. I decided to order and pay for a replacement wheel trusting that I would be refunded for the defective wheel. Received the new wheel and made an appointment to have the wheels installed. I got a call from the installer telling me the wheels were hitting the brake calipers! My receipt said that the wheels were a guaranteed fitment! I am waiting to hear from Carid to make this right! I gave them a 3 rating, this could go in either direction, depending on how quickly my issue is resolved! 8/15/17
The amount of inconvenience caused to us by these incompetent nincumpoops cannot be expressed without expletives. Save yourself the time and money and just but a new car if you have to pick between these guys and the former.

I've been trying to find the correct harness to upgrade my factory radio. There are 3 or 4 that keep popping up, but they just didn't seem right, so I chatted with Kristy on CarID. She asked a couple questions that I hadn't even considered, and was able to quickly recommend the product that I needed--which was not even on my radar and had not popped up in any of the searches. Kudos to Kristy for knowing what to ask in order to find the right product! You just saved me a lot of time and grief!

Ordered a product from this company and they didn't tell me it was going to be 100$ to ship a 50$ product till i had processed the order, called 15 minutes after to cancelled it, the guy said he had processed the cancellation, i called Monday because i never received an email turns out they never cancelled my order and now i have to wait another week for my money worst customer service ever.
