I real all the below bad comment but seriously i am from lebanon beirut and carid Is the best online auto parts online shopping i have like 8 order all shipped in good condition with UPS took 5 to 7 days but the quality and the condetion of all my order was perfect now waiting order for alternator which cost me in my country 890$ CARID have it@ 350$ same product ACdelco thanks for all the team at carid for full support
They ended up refunding the part and making things right.
I received a defective door lock actuator. I assumed that the part would be refunded because without the part installed my door would not shut. Part includes door latch. I purchased the part from another company and sent defective part back for refund. My new part from different provider worked great. I found out two weeks later when receiving a part which I thought was a refund was to my surprise a replacement part. I contacted them and they refused to refund the part. I took out the perfectly working part from another provider sent it back for a refund and replaced with the second part from carid. This part worked for two days and the motor is now malfunctioning and I can no longer lock my door. I called to get a replacement part of refund. They told me that I had to go to a certified mechanic and provide a report showing that the part was malfunctioning to get a refund or exchange. So they told me I had to spend money more than I paid for the part to prove that I am not an idiot. I will never buy anything from this company every again. And I suggest with all of the options on the internet to look else where. Most unprofessional and ridiculous situation I have ever been in. They stole 120 dollars from me and could care less.

I purchased a $400 hood from their site, received it damaged. They admitted that my product was damaged during shipping after i sent them pictures, as a compensation I was told that I would receive half of what the hood costs, after sending them the information they requested I was then told that they only made $26 off of sales from me purchasing the hood & that all they could refund me as a "courtesy" was $25 & a $35 certificate for furture purchases as a compensation for my experience. I will no longer be shopping with this retailer so the certificate will be of no use & the $25 will not even cover half of what the damage repairs will cost! $25 doesn't even fill ones gas tank these days, let alone $200 in repairs. Do not purchase anything from this retailer, they are cheap & do not want what is best for their customers. If I could give them 0 stars I would!

I am terribly sorry you have faced this issue. From what I have understood, if the hood is damaged, you could easily get a full refund. If you have not received it, it is either because the item was not inspected before accepting it, and the invoice was not signed as damaged, as the disclaimer warns you about, or the item was installed, though who would install the item when it is damaged. I had many issues with my order/experience. I ordered a set of bumpers and a spoiler for my Hyundai Genesis.
1. Took more than a month for my order to reach my house.
2. There was no mention that my order had for whatever reason, switched shipping companies mid transit. Had to call a company I've never heard of to see why my order was stuck at a UPS facility.
3. All of the parts came in different days. The shipping price was out of this world expensive. It should cost a lot of money, but not literally thousands of dollars.
4. My spoiler and bumpers were not ready for paint and assembly as advertised, my spoiler actually had no assembly components and is not useable.
5. The bumpers had been damaged, but not until we started working on sanding them down and priming them did we notice these defects. There were a multitude of under the surface defects.
1/5 Please don't order from these guys. You don't want to spend about 5000$ trying to get bumpers on your car that you thought would only be 3000$. You can find a lot of the same parts on other websites.

I owe Carid.com my apologies. I myself was upset with Carid.com customer service only to find out that it was my fault. I am an avid computer builder and auto mechanic but yet made the idiotic mistake of not checking my Spam folder for Carid.com email for my S/H label for my core return. I was rude to several of the Carid.com CSR's but not one time were they rude with me and never did they patronize me or belittle me. I know for a fact that a lot of these reviews with people saying that Carid.com has rude CSR agents etc. or that they are being shipped the wrong part are not being honest. When I order a part I take the part number and confirm it is correct from somewhere else like the internet, duh. It cracks me up that because people makes mistakes they have to blame it on Carid.com or someone besides themselves. I have no problem admitting to my mistakes. One final note. I know for a fact that if Carid.com did send me the wrong part they would either email me a paid S/H label to return the wrong part and they would have the right part sent out ASAP or work out a refund, without being rude or calling me a liar. I will definitely continue to shop Carid.com and will my family and friends use them too.
I purchased smoked led taillights from these thieves. Both lights came in separate boxes in a larger box. I opened one and installed it. Really like 2 screws. I then opened the other box and the Lenz broken. NEVER INSTALLED IT! I was told that because they were SOLD in pairs that technically (in their terms) I would not qualify for a refund because even though it wasn't installed, to them it was. Horrible customer service! They don't even give you an answer on the phone, they make you wait and email you your warrantee denial! STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!

Do not purchase parts from this online retailer. The customer service is horrible and they have no knowledge of the parts they are selling. I had a professional mechanic try to install the parts I ordered over the phone from a sales "specialist". When we realized the parts did not fit my vehicle CAR-ID would not take them back even thought they sent the incorrect parts. They say they have items in stock but clearly don't. Stay away there are plenty of other retailers that know what they are doing.

Bought 4 rims from them for my 2013 Toyota Avalon. They said rims would fit without any modifications and my TPS sensors could be re-used. Well, had to buy 4 new TPS sensors at the tire installer and then after tires and rims were installed, car had a vibration at speeds over 60 MPH. Customer service after the sale was horrible, and then they gave me the wrong advice. Had to call the rim manufacturer to get the right answer and order hub rings to stop the vibration. Would not use them again... Horrible shopping experience - and - RIMS are not returnable even if never out of the box - they consider them custom orders. Use another vendor.

I read some of the bad reviews below and I have to say I agree with a lot of them. They are a middleman which means if there is a problem, it's a lot of work getting that problem fixed. I wanted to return an item and they bent over backwards to try and get me to keep the item which immediately drew some red flags - this goes back to them being a middleman, they have no control over what the manufacturer does, or if they are going to refund, which means you or carid are out the money pending this is the case and most likely it will be you. Make sure what you buy from them is the right item, do research, because "easy returns" as stated on the home page of the carid webstie will not be the case.

I have had two dealings with this company, the first time the ordering experience was not pleasant and I was offered a $15 dollar gift card, well two years later when I decided to give the company another chance, I placed an order on items that said they were supposed to ship out in 24 hours and I needed them for an upcoming trip, they in fact were not going to ship out until 4 days later and one was coming from California to the east coast, there is no way it was going to make it on time, so to me shipping within 24 hours is a complete lie, I was told I could pay 200 dollars to expedite the shipping. I agree with the other reviewer, this company is crap and won't do anything to help you have a positive shopping experience, I will do my best to prevent any one from ordering from this place. Both shopping experiences were less than desirable. Thanks Amazon for quick shipping and my items will arrive on time! Update: now they have shipped one of the items I cancelled, I have confirmation emails saying I cancelled my orders. This is the worst and shadiest company on the internet. Stick with Amazon and other companies that stand by their customers!

This was my first time using this website and I had called to order because of their Labor Day specials. I placed the order over the phone because I felt that it would be easier to do with a real person, but the representative just jumped around and woudlnt give me straight answers. He told me if I placed an order for floor mats he would give me a gift certificate that I could use for my next order so that is what I did and of course I gave them my credit card information for that. Then I gave him a new order that I would like and ask him to apply this gift certificate. He said he could not do that because the order was on sale. Then I told him that I didn't want the second order if I couldn't apply the gift certificate and he said it was too late he already submitted the order using my credit card information from the previous order. I never authorized him to charge me $340 from my account for the second order. He overdrew my account and I got a charge from my bank and now I have to wait 7 to 10 days to get my money back. Horrible horrible service, I will never ever order from this company ever again thanks to XAVIER!

ON MAY 12,2017, I ordered a set of tires from this online retailer, they had several models they stated were guaranteed to fit, while placing they order, I attempted to confirm by phone to confirm, I waited 1 hour on hold, no response, I placed order, believing the company would not list tires that would not fit, however after Firestone attempted, it was obvious bad fit, the tires were returned and they forced me to pay a large restocking fee, as well as return shipping, over $200, they have terrible customer service and list tires for sale, that don't fit your vehicle. Their promises mean nothing... beware!

I bought a Centric® 130.******* - Premium Brake Master Cylinder for my Jeep CJ 7, in the description on the Carid.com website is declared as an item MADE IN USA, once I received it I realized it is produced in CHINA! I discussed with them and they deleted me from their server, I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission NJ. Shame!

I recently received an awesome gift; a car. As a guy it's been my dream to learn to drive and buy a car but as time went on my priorities shifted and this gift was a great start to the school year. CariD customer service was great, the products where inexpensive and the site was reliable. If there was one 'con' I could identify is shipping can sometimes get expensive. Despite this, CariD made it possible to get all my products in time and the car is stunning. Thank you
Simple order... asked three times for shipping confirmation and got a continual run around and never did get a shipping confirmation. Trying to get my money back now. Avoid these guys at all costs. They create false shipping manifests, but all they have done is notify UPS that a shipping label has been created but don't actually ship.

I ordered wheels and tires and it clearly read "Free shipping on this item" for both... but I was charged $160 additional to the total amount for shipping... I'm disputing the charge to my card due to fraud and they can keep the wheels and tires... buy elsewhere

I ordered a windshield mounting bracket for my LED lightbar from this site. The one I ordered was NOT the one delivered & I did not notice this until after installation. So I removed the bracket AFTER taking pictures of the incorrect product. I then emailed CARiD to let them know on 8/15 (the day after I received the incorrect item). I spoke with someone on the chat & they told me it would be 2-3 DAYS before I would get an email about this issue. On 8/17 I received an email asking for the part number that I received & pictures. So I sent them pictures & I didn't have a part number because it didn't come with a packing slip. After this I got another response saying it would be ANOTHER 24-48 business hours before I hear anything. I hadn't heard anything so on 8/23 I emailed them asking for an update. They emailed back asking for me to measure the length of the mounting kit, so I did, then replied right back. I then sent an email telling them how unacceptable their customer service has been & that any other company would have gotten the issue resolved in a matter of minutes, not DAYS/WEEKS! They responded saying they would email me right away after hearing from the manufacturer. Then today, 8/28, THIRTEEN days after initially reaching out to them telling them I received the wrong item, they responded saying that I received the correct item & that the manufacturer would NOT be accepting my return.
Absolutely RIDICULOUS & HORRIBLE customer service! Will NEVER be buying anything from this place again & will not recommend it to anybody. I would give them 0 stars but that isn't allowed.
