I got great service when i bought coil springs for my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee the other day. Then, I needed to discuss some other part choices this morning and I was able to use the CariD Chat. I talked with Dylan, he was most helpful and did not try to sell me something I did not need. But, I WAS able to get what I needed. It's refreshing in this day and age to get one on one customer service~~but that is exactly what I got. Thanks to Dylan and CariD for helping me with my purchase!

I ordered a carbon fiber hood from CarID -- BIGGEST mistake I have ever made. On their main page, and every product page they tout "quick and easy" returns, and a 30 day return policy, however, trying to return a product is a NIGHTMARE.
This company is a SCAM.
The hood I received was packaged exceptionally well, and the package undamaged. When opened, the hood appeared to in used condition, and clearly had been mounted on a car. It was severely scratched, the edges were chipped/knicked up, and the vents/screens in the hood were damaged. In addition to that, the are material defects in the hood itself including waves in the carbon fiber, and SEVERE fitment issues -- for example, the hood is tight on the back corners, but there is a 3/4" gap in the middle where you can see right down to the engine. Up by the front, it sits 1/2" higher than the fenders, but can't go any lower because it is already hitting the headlights.
I filed the return claim 5 business days after I received the hood. I have spent over 5 hours on the phone, in chat, and in emails with 6 different people, all in a call center in India, or overseas somewhere -- and none of them understand cars, so they can't comprehend why the issues I have are issues. 4 of the 6 people have given me 4 different responses as to why they are denying the return. The first person asked me to email pics, which I sent almost 20. The second person said they were accepting the return, and asked me to call the 800 number to coordinate -- and then it went down hill... I have received 2 responses with return policy rules that differ drastically from what is listed on their website, 1 person told me the manufacturer denied the claim, however, I talked to the manufacturer, and it seems they never talked to CarID. One supervisor YELLED at me for 5 minutes, implying I was an $#*! for wasting her time with a claim for a defective $700 hood. When I told her it would cost over $1000 for a body shop to fix SOME of the issues, she told me "that is what I should do".
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Never used CARid, I am a big fan now. Everyone very helpful and knowledgeable. I will use this company anytime I need marine or auto equipment.

Well after many weeks of back and forth they said I'm getting a refund of $658.31 and not the full amount of $733.31? Which by the way deposits in 3-5 days added to the over two week wait. I have an on going dispute filed with the credit card company for the full amount. Now I'm sure if you get a part from them that fits/works great for you but you better hope you NEVER have to return an item or else watch out!

The part I ordered for my truck was supposed to bolt on without the need to drill to fit. As it happened the part did not fit so I sent in pictures requested to prove it but their tech disputed them and in doing so now they don't have to/won't pay for return shipping. I also contacted the manufacture of these items and was advised they are aware of this part not fitting properly on my truck due to some mistakes in measurements during manufacturing. Waiting on refund of part but not shipping

I ordered a product on 9/16/17. On Friday, 9/29/17, I contacted them and found out it was lost via UPS. The correct customer service reply would have been, "We are so sorry. We will ship another one out right away!" CariD's response was, "We will send out another one in 3 'business days' if not found and delivered to you by then." It was already Friday so the 3 days actually meant "5 more days" adding onto the 13 I had already been waiting. Now today, Thursday, 10/5/17, I call to be told there was no follow up and they would contact their distributor of that product and have it resubmitted to send another one. It is now 3:16PM and still no sign of the "promised tracking number". Since we are coming up on another weekend, at the earliest I would receive it would be Monday, 10/9/17. Oh, wait! That is Columbus Day and does not count as a "business" day. So it may be 10/10/17,6 days shy of a month from the day I ordered it! And that is if it actually arrived?
Things happen and I understand that, but rectifying a problem with great customer service makes all the difference in the world. If they had simply sent a new one immediately when I called the first time, 9/29/17, I would have had what I have already PAID for and not had to waste my time contacting them and writing reviews.

I received one of my packages on time as stated, and now waiting on the others to arrive shortly, the only complain i have is that my orders come in separably, i feel that if this you make an order for more then one item you should receive all items upon delivery. Other then that, this website is in one of my top ten site and i plan on using this site more often then once.

Carid.com is a very well set up company, suppling everything from repair parts to high performance parts. The delivery experience I've had with Carsid is both good and bad, when I order my new wheels, they were delivered right on time, but when i ordered my Procar racing seat they told me it would be ariving the 5th of October. Then I manufacturer problem happened and it would be 15 days late. They genrously offred a 25$ gift card, and made the return simple. I was on hold for no more than 1 minute. Shemyr the coustomer service rep, was helpful even though our connection was bad at first, she had called me back right away and help be cancel the order, she handled the situation great and was really helpful and answered all my questions. Carid.com is an excellent website to get the parts you need with a wide variety of brands.

I called into CardID to order a Dash Cover, but seen it for a cheaper price on CoverCraft. Jacob answered my call. He was so professional, courteous and a real gem to deal with. He matched my offer! Jacob also was very patient with me in answering several of my questions. I had such a great experience. There should be 1000 more Jacobs when it comes to Customer Service.
I will definitely call CardID to make further purchases and hopefully, I will get Jacob again.
