Bought two sets of ventshades from Carid. For my 2017 Ford truck! The first set was damaged when shipped. The other set three of the four ventshades fell off after four days. Luckily the one that was still attached didn't damage my vehicle. When I removed it because it was senseless to leave on without the other three.
I never in my life had this much trouble returning faulty merchandise. You have to take pictures! Give them your vin number of you vehicle. Give them a statement of what's wrong with the product. Hoop after hoop! Email after email! Just to get a return label to ship them back. It's ridiculous! Most companies send you a return label with your merchandise. I have spent hundreds if not thousands with this company. But no more! Too much hassle to return faulty or damaged merchandise. Then on top of it you talk to a person who barely speak English!
Basically, Carid is a third party company who takes your order then orders directly from the actual manufacturer. Who sends it to you! It would be better to order from the source directly. Instead of the middle man! Two weeks have passed since these ventshades fell off my truck! How long will it take to email me a return label to send these junky things back. Or credit my charge card!
I bought new ventshades from Ford. Took the ventshades that fell off with me. The Ford technician told me EGR uses the wrong 3m tape! They would have all fallen off. I was luck it happened when I was washing my truck. Not driving on the highway and couldn't retrieve them to return them. Imagine that dilemma! Trying to return an empty box.
Be smart buy from a reputable direct party company. Not the middle man!

Thought they were a reputable company. Ordered a car cover and was expected to arrive a week and half later from order date. Waited... never arrived. Also, never received tracking info as their emails stated i would receive. I then received another email stated there was a delay in shipping that would cause my car cover to arrive a month later! Unacceptable.

I placed an order on the 21st of September of these guys. After 6 shipping delays my "new" estimated shipping date is October 16th. Keep in mind that this will be the 6th time they've given me a new shipping date with no explanation as to why. I ordered some carbon fiber pieces for my 2014 IS350 f sport. Not a difficult or old car. If they would have told me it was out of stock or not produced (which I assume is the case as after multiple inquires the agent never gave me a reason) then I would have just ordered similar pieces off of eBay or amazon and gotten them long ago. Terrible customer service.
I stumbled on CARid by chance while looking for hitch for my car while waiting to arrange for hitch installation at a well known company.
I walked outside and made a call to CARid and spoke with Dave to get an Idea about the hitch and the component that comes with it. I am glad I did, I ordered what I was going to get installed on my car that day from David for 1/2 the price I was quoted not including installation. I went back to the place that I chose to supply and install the hitch and cancelled. Their price complete was $480. + compared to $186. CARid for the hitch, and wiring harness Installation at Pep boys was $107. During the conversation with pleasant Dave who suggested that saved me $200. That was the reason the 5* were chosen.
Had a wonderful experience shopping by phone for price match offer. They did not hassle me and provided the requested discount. Will continue to shop at Carid.

I had an on-line chat with one of their "specialists" and I specifically asked them if the price included two sheepskin covers, one for the driver and one for the passenger. I was told yes. To be sure I asked the question another way - if I order a quantity of one, am I getting a driver side and passenger seat cover. I was told "yes", they are sold in sets of two. I made sure you get, and save, a transcript of the chat.
You know what happened. When I got the product there was only one in the box. When I contracted them they said a quantity of one meant only one seat cover. When I sent them the chat transcript they did not believe me. After many e-mails they said I could return it for a full refund. I asked if that included the $135 duty I paid. They said no. So I opted to keep the VERY expensive single seat cover to remind me never to buy from them again.
The sheepskin cover I did get is excellent though. Nice in both cold and warm weather.
Easy returns? HA. Nope. Run around from everyone and no refunds. Horrible company to buy from. Will never do business with them again!
