I bought a Curt Hitch from CARiD, after my purchase I received a note that the price was incorrect and that my order was canceled. They then offered a 10 dollar coupon for my troubles. Still waiting on CARiD to refund with Paypal. Quick to take your money and cancel your order, not so quick to make the refund or just make the transaction right. Friendly customer service as long as you pay for it.
We just started using Car ID, was using Parts Geek. Eddie is a parts sales representative, very knowledgeable, courteous, respectful of your women customers. He returns your call right away, if you don't want to wait on hold! His extension is 8978, please call him up if you like to be treated like a valued customer!
I made a purchase and decided I didn't want it. Called them up and cancelled my order. I had a great customer service rep named Joshua. He was very helpful and courteous and refunded my money with no hassles. I will be doing business with them again.

I needed help ordering an item online because it was showing different prices. I went into the chat and got immediate service with a link to the correct price and items. Haven't received the items yet but I have high hopes.

First let me say I am not a technical or skilled car mechanic, I am able to remove bolts and use some self tapping screws, but that's about it.
I purchased a muffler from CARID about two weeks ago only to discover that the muffler I bought doesn't work for my truck without a hacksaw, welding skills (and tools), as well as the other 6 feet of pipe my truck needs since the existing pipe is about 15 years old and probably should be replaced as well.
When I called in last Saturday, I was really happy someone was available to talk and assist with getting the right part. The only issue was their database listed two different lengths of 2003 tundra (a difference of 1/2 inch) and I don't have any idea what my truck is - so the CS rep politely suggested I call back when they have mechanics on duty on Monday.
So I called on Wednesday, the CS rep didn't transfer me to the mechanic, tried to go through the same thing I did on Saturday morning - I cut her off and then she told me the mechanic's are on the east coast and already went home.
So I called today (Thursday) and the CS rep said the mechanic were only here until 6 pm, and yes she could transfer me - but first she needed to make some notes. Thats fine, no problem - except she wanted to go through the same process I went through the first two times. I said no thank you.
Combined I have over an hour talking to CS reps at CARID and I am no closer to ordering the proper part.
I am going to try to return without reordering now, wish me luck.
Ordered a $1,200 Grill for my truck sales representative assured me it would fit, turns out when I went to have it installed the install realize it's for a different year vehicle and well not fit mine. I called the manufacturer and they confirm that grill will not fit my vehicle and they do not even make one for my vehicle. Contacted CARiD to set up a return they want to charge me return shipping on their mistake I paid $85 to get it shipped the first time there is no way in hell I'm going to pay them another $85 for their mistake. Customer service representative send me an email stating they listen to the tape of my order and I miss represented my own vehicle, like I don't know what year and make vehicle I own. They also refuse to let me hear such recording and I find it kind of creepy and illegal that nobody advises you in the first place that you're being recorded but yet they can't produce the recording they said they're listening to. There must be a lot of fraud with this company because of American Express would not process my charge initially it got rejected as a fraud alert I had to call American Express and explain to them that it was me ordering something from this company I've never had that happened before in 30 years of using an American Express card. Needless to say there Grille is sitting here in the Box and I've called American Express to dispute the charge let them deal with it. Stay away from these liars and yes I was also told if I gave them a favorable review I would get a gift certificate I think that's just a way to lock you into a positive review before you have an experience like this and write a negative one

I have always ordered through CARID because they always go out do their way to make sure I am a happy customer. Ive always been offered discount codes and the best customer service anyone could ask for. If youre shopping anywhere else for your car needs youre moving in the wrong direction.
Called CARiD on a Saturday and spoke with David. Placed my order after talking to him regarding this product. Shipment showed up quickly and we got our vehicle back on the road. Very pleased.

As a first time buyer on this website i was a little clueless on what i wanted to purchase. I put some LED headlight bulbs in my cart and decided i would check it out on another day when i had a little more information on the item i was about to buy. Hours later I had Sonia from CARiD call me and gave the greatest incite on what i was going to buy. She actually corrected my cart and helped me select the correct item. Sonia even went an extra step further and provided me with the installation process which Im very grateful for.
