Ordereda set of tail lights for my father in law and myself for Christmas. On 11/27 get an email about a week later saying headlight were on back order from the manufacturer with an expected shipping date of 12/15. Still no tracking number so I contacted customer support via Chat on 12/17 who were anything but helpful. Was told that the item should ship on 12/15 (two days ago) and I would receive a tracking number. It is now 3 weeks two days since I've placed my order and still no tracking number of confirmation of shipment. Won't be using this site again and based on some of the other reviews I've read I suggest that other don't make the same mistake I did.
Upon finding a brush guard I was looking to purchase, I had called CARiD since I found another website that was offering it at a lower price. CARiD was able to match it and provide an additional discount to make the brush guard a stronger buy. The product came in on the expected arrival. Overall it was simple and easy.
Great company and great people who help you find the products you need. This is on a variety of different levels whether it is New wheels or it is a new navigation system and you need parts for it. Best part is you add your car and so many products show up so you can customize your car to your liking.
I want to start by say I havent actually received the product, so Im just reviewing their over the phone service.
I started by talking to someone I forget the name of sadly. He was great, even offered to call the supplier and get back with me when they opened. Then I sorted it out, called back, got Oscar, who did a great job getting my order set and on the way.

Needed to return some Taylor Made boat fenders. The carid agent told me if the manufacturer agreed it was a manufacturing error I would receive a refund of "x" and if they determined there was no manufacturing error I would receive slightly less. Ultimately I received even less than the lesser amount the agent quoted, and I have a chat transcript to prove what he told me. carid.com didn't care and stuck me with something less than I was told. Very dishonest, and obviously will not stick to what they tell their customers.
Update - After I wrote this review, their customer service department responded to me saying they wanted the order number to investigate. Absolutely no follow up after I provided the information. Again, dishonest. They post as if they are going to address the issue, and then... nothing!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They do not back the products that they sell. When you call to complain about the defective part they require that you send numerous pictures and videos of the problem. After they receive the email with validating the problem the tell you they did not get the supporting pictures and videos. The initial person that you speak with is a mere foot soldier that will tell you they have to follow a certain protocol, when you escalate the problem to a manager they too will address protocol with very little conversation about resolving the problem. USE AMAZON!

Well car ID has earned a perfect zero now. Still have not received replacement hub centric rings so I had to take care of my self. Still have not received my locking lug pkg. So had to take care of myself. Promised car id gift cards to use for my trouble, still havnt seen those. Not sure how this place stays in business. Dont spend your hard earned money here folks.

Ordered alternator, radiator and associated parts. Quick no fuss service! Good communications as some of the parts came from various sources.
A lot of help from all the stuff. I got 4 parts and the great thing that they made sure that I got the right parts and they have asked me for the vin number of my car and that is top 5 star thing if you know. Very thankful
