I was searching for a part when I found the CARiD had for a great price. I had a few questions prior to ordering so I used their online chat option. Bryan was very helpful and answered my questions right away. Awesome service!
I spoke with Alex by email regard product information and prices (wheels and tires). After deciding what to buy I had one more question. I called in and talked to Erick. After answering my question we agreed by phone on a certain price. After receiving a discount, which I appreciated, I continued to make the purchase over the phone with my credit card. This happened on 1/14/18 at 1:51p.m. At 2:02p.m. I received an email with the order details which was $300 dollars higher than what we had agreed to. I called in immediately to notify Erick. I thought there was a mistake made. To my surprise he told me that he had already given me a good deal (referring to the discount). Then he said that the additional charge was to mount the tires to the wheels and for shipping. I told him that when we agreed to the price he did not mention anything about that. I told him to please cancel the order because he was charging me more than what we had agreed to. He told me I had to call the customer service department, which was closed.
The next day I called the customer service line and the lady that answered the phone was very nice and polite. But after I told her of the reason for my call her attitude totally changed. She told me that they were not going to cancel the order because I had agreed to a price over the phone. This is crazy! Basically the sales guy gave a total without telling me how much they were going to charge for delivery and installation and then just charged my card. They are DECEIVERS AND FRAUDULENT. You cannot charge more money after you agreed to a price without you being notified of that additional cost. I do not understand. If the product has not been processed or shipped why wouldnt they want to cancel the order? Plus I tried to cancel only 30 minutes after that they placed the order. And not because I changed my mind, but because they are charging $300 dollar more, unauthorized. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE! Im disputing this charge with my bank once the charge is posted and I will inform the FTC and Better Business Bureau if this is not resolved.
It is not often I will be excited about my dealing with a company's customer service group. However, Sonia of CarID proved to be so helpful in assisting my order that I had to make sure her supervisor knew about my experience.
Beyound being very diligent in assisting me she really seemed to enjoy helping me.
My order was finshed quickly. I did not feel like a number but as a truly vauled person.
I received my tracking information shortly after my call.

I wish I could give them a zero star. The worst company you could ever buy from. I would recommend to never use these people. EVER. Long story short. I bought Oracle Lights and there were two things wrong with them. One was cracked down the middle of one of the lights. The other 2 lights had thick glue all around the lights, like they bought cheap lights and glued them together. I contacted them the next day to report the damage items and hopefully get a replacement. They requested that i send pictures of the damage. I did that and never heard back, so I had to follow up. They then proceeded to tell me to leave the box outside my door with a sticky note on it for UPS to come pick it up. I told them I was not comfortable leaving expensive lights out on my porch (the day after Christmas) with a sticky not on it without a return shipping label. Long story short I called them every single day for a week and a half to try to get a return shipping label. At that point I just wanted a refund. UPS told me they would not pick up the lights without a shipping label (which makes sense). I have been fighting with them for 2 weeks now and still have yet to get a refund and have made a claim through my bank. THIS COMPANY HAS THE WORST COSTUMER SERVICE AND LACK BASIC COMMON SENSE. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Damage item and return procedure are completely different procedures, which require a different set of paperwork. Since the item was cracked, it needed to be picked up and inspected by the UPS, who, most likely, made the damage. Their disinforming yo is quite logical in this situation, don't you think?

I recently wrote a poor review on CarID (see bellow). I would like to retract and honor the outstanding response from the customer service team. They contacted me and listened to my concerns and solve the problem. I for sure will give them a second chance and purchase from them again.

Should have the option of no starts on this review. Today is saturday morning; placed order yesterday online when they were closed. The item I order was a bedliner and the shipping cost was twice the cost of the item. Call today saturday to cancel and they refused to cancel since it is an oversize item and it would get shipped. I was given the so option to call monday to try to stop the shipment. If it gets shipped, I would have to pay twice of the item $212 to ship it back. They do not keep what they promise online. The worst place to buy. Will never buy here again even if I have to pay double somewhere else.

I am sorry to hear you were not satisfied with the service. When the order goes through, it is sent to the manufacturer automatically. During the cancellation we get the confirmation from the warehouse first, to make sure our clients receive correct information. Do you want us to promise something, that did not happen? And naturally, the manufacturer is closed on weekends, therefore, there is no possibility to get into their system to cancel the order on time. For our clients' convenience, there is an online form, which you can fill in in you need any alterations in your order, including the cancellation.

CarID is absolutely amazing and support our troops, I received an amazing discount on my Spec Super Twin Clutch Kit and arrived 2 days later! Incredible! Words just cant explain my satisfaction!
Purchased wheel and tires based on their drop down menu / website. When the wheels and tires arrived, they were too wide, I spoke with customer service; was told no refunds or exchanges possible.
Their website states:
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we will be happy to accept a return for a refund or exchange on products in new/unused condition within 30 days of delivery. More details on - https://www.carid.com/help-center/product-return.html
However, if you actually request an RMA / refund or exchange they will tell you that all items are 'Non-Returnable'.

I regret you have had such an experience with the items. It is not quite honest of you to give only a piece of the policy. If you continue to read only two lines below what you have quoted, you would see this:

Let's return to the product page of the wheels, which you have ordered to see the sign "non-returnable" there. Nevertheless, I am sure we can work some solution out, if you could share your order number with me.
