Tried to place an order on an item but it wasn't able to be shipped so I had to cancel. The process went quick and will be ordering something else in the future.
I placed an order March 4th and after 16 complete days of numerous emails being sent on my behalf and patiently waiting for my parts I get an email (on March 20th) stating the parts I ordered have been discontinued. If their customer service was anything to brag about I would have been notified a lot sooner, not 16 days later. Absolutely unacceptable service. I will not be ordering from CarID again. I advise you to proceed with caution when placing an order through this company.
I had purchased premium front and rear rotors for my vintage 1982 Mercedes Benz S Class after I had done a complete brake job including all four of the calipers, the master cylinder, the power brake booster and the flexible hose lines as well as the brake pads. I had already installed the two rear rotors when the car was totaled after driving less than 200 miles with the new brake job so I obviously could not return those. But the front rotors were unopened and still in the box because I had just not had time to install them.
So I called CarId and explained the situation to Raquel. She graciously arranged for the return and gave me credit for whatever else I want to buy.

Couple of the parts I ordered had to return cause did not fit the truck correctly but hey it happens when you buy a used car and you don't know the entire history of the vehicle but called that customer service number and they took care of anything I had to return or any questions. People make mistakes, we are all human. There was a small problem with a part I ordered as it was not what the website said it was. After agreeing with my complaint carid essentially gave me a gift certificate to cover the cost of the part. It was not an expensive part and carid made it right! Since the first order I've made 2 other purchases where the parts were exactly as described and absolutely at the best prices available. I will shop here again. Bought fog lamps for my 99 Camry. Originals are no longer available from Toyota. Talked to a CARiD product consultant, who told me that they had universal fog lights that would hook up directly to my original wiring system. I was told that the lights were in stock and would be sent out the next day. I called them back after a week had passed and was told that the lamps were out of stock and would be sent directly from the factory. After waiting 3 weeks, I finally received the lights. The harness connections do not fit. The wiring harness is not the correct one for the lights. The person I talked with at CARiD about this couldn't understand the issue and insisted that these were universal fit. THEY DO NOT LISTEN AND ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH. They sent me lights that will no work regardless of who tries to hook them up. Do not waste your time and money with these jokers!

My sales person found me the item I wanted for my Ram Promaster City SLT. Hard to find any aftermarket items for this thing, They had the items and a link was sent for me to look at and buy. Simple, Fast and very professional.
I looked up a variety of websites last week and gave several a call. I checked a DashMat on the phone from CARiD.com(I presume after looking at pics of you)a young lady named Lisa whom was very helpful, patient, pleasing to work with, and had good product knowledge. I also needed more info on seat covers to investigate and review. Once I have digested and checked other reviews, I'll call back (probably this P.M.) and order the items I need. It's very important to me to have the proper info as I hate the process of sending things back and I want a good product and working relationship with as few places to deal with as possible and a continued relationship with a representative that is familiar with me, my auto, and my circumstances as to not repeat myself and expedite the sale not only for myself but for Lisa also as I'm not the only customer out there. I'm an older guy who hasn't bought a new car for a long time. I have very limited knowledge, so I need people like Lisa... Thanks!

They don't even deserve 1 star. Bought LED conversion kit for my truck. Was told if I wasn't happy with everything that I could return them. (The salesman was great in providing all the info I needed) Installed them and they do not work any better than the factory lights. So I submitted a return request, waited the amount of time they said it would take and I never receive any return ticket. So I called customer service and the guy said he couldn't return them because I installed them. He said that if I wanted to return them I should have never installed them. How was I to know that I wanted to return them if I never installed them. Make no sense at all. If they would have done the job I never would want to return them. So I've been on hold now for over 5 minutes waiting to talk to his supervisor which will probably never pick up. I will never do business with this company again. Eventually they will go out of business because they won't have anybody to buy from them. By the way it's been over 15 minutes since I've been on hold.
