My first time ordering from them and it was one of the worst online shopping experiences I've ever had. Total farce of a company.
I love CariD.com because it has the largest inventory that I have seen specific to my car. They have plenty of knowledgeable customer service representatives and are quick when calling. I worked with a customer service agent who helped me not only by answering my question with a concrete answer, but also helped me find more products that saved me time and gave me a discount on my order overall. I would highly recommend CariD.com to anyone that is looking to buy parts & accessories for their car and don't know where to go.
Placed order & estimated ship date was one week later. After that date passed, I called to check status. First idiot I spoke to placed me on hold to die & the call was eventually dropped. So I called back. The second idiot I spoke to indicated that he'd have to check with the manufacturer for status & that could take 24-48 hours. I cancelled my order (& that was painful as well).
This is a 3rd party web site that places orders with manufacturers. If they can't keep orders straight in any way, shape or form, that's not how you keep customers.

I ordered a Paramount modular bumper from CARiD and within a year it started to rust, chip and the lights stopped functioning because water was leaking into the housing. In February I contacted customer service about the issue, they were quick to respond but its all down hill from there. I was told to send the product back and I would be sent a replacement bumper. (Later discovered in my own it was no longer being sold) I told them I did not have the original box and I needed them to send me the appropriate material and they refused. They directed me to UPS who said they did not have a box strong enough or large enough for a bumper. Mind you I dont possess the necessary tools to remove the bumper and would have to spend additional money to send the bumper back. I have been given the run around since. My most recent phone conversation was with Jospeh Thomas a costumer service supervisor who said he wanted to resolve the issue. However after several weeks I am right back where I started. Mr. Thomas assured me he would get the issue resolved only to have CARiD, for the third time, reissue the shipping label for a return again. I am frustrated but will keep trying. It is clear CARiD does not care about their customers. I should have done my research first.

I placed an order for an exhaust system on Sunday. 3 pipes, 4 clamps and 2 gaskets. The pipes and clamps shipped on Monday and I had them on Tuesday. Good right? Wrong! None of the pipes were wrapped or boxed in any way. Just shipped by themselves with no protection at all. Needless to say 1 of the flange openings and the end of the tailpipe were bent. I'll have to hammer out the dents in order for it to connect correctly and for the tailpipe to look undamaged. Also, they haven't shipped the gaskets that go between the converter and the pipes! So, I can't fix the truck until the gaskets arrive. Website said they expected them to ship yesterday. Nope! Pipes are sitting in my garage and the truck is quite loud! Also, had a problem with my email address for login. It was my fault so I called within minutes of placing my order and was told that they fixed it. Nope! So, then next day I sent an email again explaining that the login email address was wrong and again the person that replied said that he fixed it. Nope! Still can't login with my correct email address, have to use the incorrect one. I won't buy from them again and I can go get the gaskets at Advance Auto Supplies for $3 apiece. Sad having a company that works this way and is not responsive to customers needs.

Disclaimer: I was past the 30 day return policy
CARiD shipped me parts their website said were compatible and perfect fit for my car. Later I realized they were not compatible, and were disk brakes instead of drum brakes that my car has. Customer service would do nothing to get me the correct part since it was past the 30 day return policy. If I had made a mistake, that's fine, but it was (and still is) marked as compatible on their website, when the brake kit is not the right one for my Pontiac Vibe.

Usually Magnaflow meaning vehicle specific high performance exhaust systems, with badges and polished tips etc. In this case the universal Magnaflow mufflers were purchased. They were true Magnaflow items, but universal fit. To ensure the precise fit, there was a need to measure the original mufflers and to purchase the ones with the same dimensions.
